PoliticsRe: A Letter To Nigerians In Diaspora by whitecat007: 2:09pm On Feb 14, 2013
I love Nigeria more than anywhere in the world but to be honest , most Nigerians at home are complacent while we abroad are too judgemental.

Let's tolerate each other, not everyone abroad wants to be here, some of us are economic refugees who are looking into reverse immigration.

The poster could also have written this out jelousy , frustration and visa refusal.

Nigeria is growing at its own pace. Every evil in Nigeria is here in the US, if not worse, even corruption.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Opposes Geo-political Zones, Autonomy For Councils by whitecat007: 11:06pm On Feb 04, 2013
Way to go ibo! at least you know that Yoruba can stand on their two feet unlike you who have to climb on the back of SS to be relevant or be seen.

The only thing the SE going to live on is kidnapping because you do not have a drop of oil in your backyard.

kettykings: If the 6 Geo - political zones are recognized and eventually become Regional Governments it will help Decongest Lagos because these 6 Regional Governments will integrate the Economy of the states within them and this would open up the Local Economy leading to people Migration back to their states as their would be 6 autonomous Economies , The north East /North West will invest heavily in Live Stock Farming while the Middle Beltern Regions will invest in Food Production SE/SS will re engineer their Gas / Oil industries while the Yoruba Nation can take up Chicken farming and taxi Driving.

This differs from what Yorubas have been campaigning for as seen below

If she has stolen from Nigeria, she may go down before those you mentioned.

Karma is a b.itch and gonna start somewhere.

or maybe they want to prevent her from coming back for some of her loots she left with them for safekeeping. She could have even planned the whole thing herself to request for more money for security from FG.

SELFWORTH: Someone is trying to prevent this lady from disclosing something. Either this or she is stopping some people from dipping their hands into the national cake and they want revenge.

First, her mum, now this.

Nigeria is doomed.

The Don is trying to get Nigeria on world food stamp while he makes his own. You have to say what he just said to get the attention of Unicef, WFP and the UN.

Al gore has made $400m preaching global warming while emitting most of the disaster by travelling every km by super jumbo Jets.

Has anyone taken another look? This may be a workplace vendetta. No one can keep eating like this when a visitor walks in.

The poster probably timed the guy during his lunch to get him fired so that he himself or someone he knows can take the job from him.

Why won't it be a beautiful thread? since your hometown is attractive enough to be not on a chopping block, Gbewudani.
afam4eva: Some insecure people have succeeded in derailing this beautiful thread. Mind you Abuja was also mentioned but no one seems to be talking about. According to some people, we want to steal their land. I've lived in Lagos most of my life but i don't see it as home. Enugu is my home sweet home. I just want every Nigerian to choose wherever they want to call home. That's my dream for Nigeria. If that's not possible then i say divide the cesspit because the hypocrisy is mind bugging. We keep preaching unity yet we can't practice it. Everything that we do points to the fact that we don't want to be united. I beg ya'll once again to focus on the topic. If you want to troll pls find another thread to do so. Thanks.

Haha! The cheerleader is here!!

shymexx: [/s]

Rants of an ancient man whose mother would have swallowed up if giving blow-jobs were as popular in the 19th century as it's today; when he was conceived somewhere under a palm tree in his filthy village... If you're not ridiculously dumb and silly you would've posted a rebuttal rather than exhibit your Achebe-esque senility and bitterness - it's typical, anyway...

A fool at 40 is a fool forever - and if you're as foolish as you're at your age, I wonder what the rest of your sojourn on this planet will be like... You might as well take your own life - and save the planet another marauding senile prick... Fvck off and go play on the motorway, cu.nt!! undecided undecided

Way to go!

shymexx: Lmao...

Being a Christian means: being Christ-like(get a slap on your right cheek and turn the left cheek to get slapped on that as well)...

But a real black man will never do that - I'll cite a quote from Malcolm X to buttress my point..

"Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery." - Malcolm X

PoliticsRe: SW Leaders Led By Tinubu Do Not Want Regionalism, Shamelessly Prefer Status Quo by whitecat007: 5:20am On Nov 15, 2012
Which Oil? The oil you don't have, how can you promise SW what you don't have?

owobokiri: I am being brutally frank and realistic here. It is called diplomacy. Southerners should take this seriously. We have had, Afonja, Akintola, Awolowo, Obasanjo, Diya and now Tinubu. At different stages, these characters have led the west to pursue goals that contradicts the aspirations of other parts of the south. There must be a reason for this. Oil? Let the SE and SS promise the SW some oil wells or some sort constant supply of cheap oil. The SW is busy opposing more resource control allocations to the oil producing states while ACN works hard to unleash a northern agenda in Nigeria. Enough of this. If you want another emir in Lagos as you already have in Ilorin, do so but spare the rest of the south. We can do without this primitive brand of amala politics.
PoliticsRe: SW Leaders Led By Tinubu Do Not Want Regionalism, Shamelessly Prefer Status Quo by whitecat007: 5:13am On Nov 15, 2012
Just go and leave SW behind, or are you afraid to go it alone? SW did not look your way when they had meetings recently. Do your own thing SW no be ur mama.

manny4life: My comment was straightforward, I believe I was crystal clear. Cheap shot or not, that's highly irrelevant, it will not change the status quo - some leaders are not ready to move forward. The 5 other regions cannot move forward if one of the major isn't agreeing. Can Nigeria's issues be dealt with if SW leaders don't come forth? Well I guess it can, simply push them aside and move forward. How I wish the Legislative was this proactive.

In lag, before u build house u settle omonile, roofing, u still pay omonile, go to most of the streets, u see able body men instead of working for there money, dey prefer begging in the name of na we get land.this is something u don't see in the SE SS.seriously these yorouba people should learn to be hard working and stop all these free money mentality dey have.

There is a certain number required and you bet those cowboys know what they are doing.

eledalo: 25000 out of a population of 2.5 million? Wait make I laugh finish.

If 25000 people in Lagos sign petition for government to repair their transformer for area... who go answer them? You go see am for Nairaland?
Foreign AffairsRe: Secession Bid Of Texas And Obama's War Options! by whitecat007: 4:37am On Nov 14, 2012
I concur ooo! As they say, whom the gods would destroy they first make mad- in this case deaf.

thelastPope: Many of you make simplistic and naïve comments. You should read a lot of history and the human sciences. Obama will be very worried right now. Saying 25000 people is insignificant is a very naïve way to think. Some things start small and spiral out of control. Society has alway been driven by trends. Many of the lybians and tunisians and egyptians who joined the arab spring can't even explain why they joined. What is happening in America is a very serious indicator of a major problem waiting to happen. The fact that CNN and MSNBC are avoiding it is another proof that they know it can have very far reaching implications. Declaring martial law, believe me, is that last thing Obama would want to do. That will be the final straw that will break America. The pictures of American soldiers on American streets will never unite America. It will forever change America. People are very worried that Obama was reelected and it isn't because they are racist like some of you tried to paint. Some people who are worried voted Obama in 2008. Never forget Obama won the majority votes by just 2%. The electoral college figures doesn't really give the right picture. Obama narrowly won and that is the fact. I watched the analysis on CNN and what most of the media guys concluded and agreed on is that America is seriously divided and Obama has a tough task to unite America. The republicans believe that the social ideologies of Obama and the democrats will ruin America and with 57 million people on government aid, I think they have a strong case.
