NL peeps sef. Make una try inform una self properly na Chad is redeploying to the Cameroon side of Gwoza. This is to prevent Boko Haram from moving into Cameroon when Nigerian troops moves on Gwoza. Forget all what u read in the papers. A few things are clear 1. Cameroon has absolutely no capability to defend themselves from BH, Chad is doing all their heavy lifting 2. Chad itself is in an existential fight; price of food has gone up in Chad cos of this fighting, also they need to protect their oil export pipelines that pass through Cameroon. 3. There is solid Intel cooperation b/w Chad and Nigeria in these maneuvers, though Chad is a loud mouthed country and wants to claim bigness by belittling Nigeria 4. After Gwoza, the "last stand" will be Sambisa, most likely after the election 5. If Chad+Cameroon+Niger fail to keep their borders tight, then BH will settle there and thoroughly destabilize them. Especially Niger 6. Nigeria will, in one form or the other, be fighting Terrorism/BH for at least the next 10yrs |
@OP Have they or will they (local hunters) hand over these weapons to the military? Things like that should not be in the hands of civilians... |
How widespread is this "Mbaka Why" video in the East? |
Guys, Buhari's name is NOT on the list of people slated to speak at Chathanm hoise this February. See attached. So where exactly he going and what for?
|
Maybe the problem might be "packaging"? Maybe we have to get creative on how to pass this history along. Just thinking out loud... ![]() |
@koloonyibo, Pls do go ahead. I should edit that title to reflect its open to anyone that has anything to do with Africa |
KoloOyinbo:Apparently its not "hip" knowing history in Nigeria anymore. Lol. Just know all about DBANJ,, JLO, Kim whatshername? and all the rest, You r good. lol Please take part in my survey if you can. TWO MINUTES ONLY https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pFvqD14WyViSFLJzaHyrhC_muDO7biEDoftTz5RI73U/viewform?c=0&w=1 |
To actually help me gauge what (African) people spent their time online doing, i created a survey, but I've not gotten much response The survey takes just TWO MINUTES to do Please if you can kindly partake in this survey and also share with your contacts. The link to the survey is below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pFvqD14WyViSFLJzaHyrhC_muDO7biEDoftTz5RI73U/viewform?c=0&w=1 |
Ishilove:Chei, Nigeria is breeding a generation that will not know jack about their identity. I remember the Benin Empire, Oyo Empire, Kanuri etc that we were thought. This was in the mid 1980's... No wonder there are so many vacuous young folks these days... |
And please, lets keep tribalism/politics out of this thread, every part of Nigeria has a rich history, we just do not know or care. |
Ishilove:Really? History is no longer being taught? Why? Even though i ended up in engineering, i loved History and Geography. |
Nigeria, indeed the whole of Africa is sitting on MONUMENTAL history, yet no one wants to take the stress of documenting it, probably because we do NOT pay attention to history or because it might not pay the bills... Here in Scotland, i have been to Castles that are HUNDREDS of years old, some still standing, others in ruins. They are beautifully preserved and documented. I did some photos of it on old posts on my blog www.afrispheric.com Documenting Nigerian and African history PROPERLY is something i'd really like to do FULL time, if one can break free of the regular 9-5 job runs. But for now, man got to pay the bills o. ![]() |
@seun, That's not correct, he said they've only DONE SIMULATION RFID tests, not field test. I'm watching it too |
egift:Sir, Please do not display your geo political ignorance in public. Are you not aware that Chad was a transit point for weapons smuggled in from Libya and the Sahel by Bokoharam or that Cameroon has/had been Bokoharams resting and recovery place until recently? Everything is politics with you guys |
@NafeesaAA, I respect your military knowledge contribution, but the guy that posted that stuff on twitter is being clever by half. I already told him so on twitter before this your post. So France forced GEJ to the meeting he had in Chad recently? Or France forced Nigerian troops currently bombing Sambisa to do so? Let's not politicize everything. Without Chad, Niger and Cameroon on board this fight, there is no way Nigeria can win against BokoHaram. You and i know this, and you know the reasons too, unless Nigeria wants to start a war with three Francophone countries at ONCE with Papa France at their help. Everything must not be politics... |
There are too many children on NL i tell you. I remember this tin can "messiah" Buhari did this same sort of ban in 1983, sent soldiers into the streets to break into people's shop and force them to sell THEIR goods at a government IMPOSED rates. The result? The economy imploded! This tin can "messiah" has not read that Thailand is seriously worried that rice exports to Nigeria has massively dropped. This tin can "messiah" has not heard of the integrated rice value chain, neither has been to the rice mills in Ebonyi state. I would suggest to the handlers of this tin can "messiah" to get him archive copies of BusinessDay Newspaper. He should read the past five years before speaking. The sad truth is that this tin can "messiah" is VERY clueless and still living in 1983. He belongs on a shelf in a Museum. God forbid that this man should EVER smell Aso Rock |
I had long given up on APC supporters. The way they justify the absurd is, to put it mildly, mind blowing! It would have been funny, but it is really pathetic the way these guys reason. You do NOT know how much your tin can messiah is continually rubbishing himself and exposing himself for the charlaten he trully is. So its now a good strategy to boycott an impartial debate and organise Oluwole town hall meetings? Keep deluding yourself and defending the indefensible. God bless Nigeria. |
nduchucks:Nigerians are a funny people. So you think Chad just decided to fly into Nigerian airspace? Which airspace? The place in question is a border town! I really doubt if some folks are Nigerians, now that the heat has been turned on Boko Haram because Cameroon and Chad has decided to tow a bit more honest path, you are complaining that they "invaded" Nigerian airspace. Just so you don't know, there is no way Nigeria can defeat Boko Haram unless Niger, Chad and especially Cameroon stop allowing them to use their countries as bases and transit point. Na wa o. Back to topic jare. When will Buhari attend a debate with other presidential candidates? |
APC supporters, na wa for una o. Can you guys hear yourselves? Grasping at straws to justify why your messiah Buhari can not attend a simple debate... He is too busy... It will turn to mudslinging... He should speak to Nigerians directly... I tire for una hypocrisy. It stinks really. To reiterate, Buhari has NOTHING to offer intellectually, its not just his accent. His handlers are just hoping to manage him (like a car with a flat tire) till after February 14th, hoping Nigerian's will not see through the charade and smoke and mirror games. Thankfully, the man Buhari has been exposed for the intellectual and integrity fraud that he is. #GMBrebrandinglies will NOT work |
Remember this my earlier post ? @barcanista You are generally decent guy, but you are on the wrong side of History. On the occasions I've had to "tussle" with you, you always lost out. Not because you were not smart, but basically because your defense and postulation of your hero "SaiBuhari" lacked and still lacks substance, because "SaiBuhari" himself is an empty tin can wrapped in shiny gift wraps. Those wraps are coming off one by one. Buhari's "I will stabilize oil price" gaffe took of some wraps His ongoing certificate saga and perjury took of a LOT of wraps. The documentary on him took of more wraps. His refusal to attend a freer and fair debate anchored by Channels TV is taking off a LOT of wraps. Just watch as "SaiBuhari" is exposed for the tin can and charlatan he is. |
APC is party populated by hypocrites, fueled by sectarianism, supported by the hypnotized, and led by a fraud claiming to be a saint. I can not imagine how these APC supporters can BLINDLY support every WRONG their messiah Buhari commits. BUHARI Lied about his certificates - its OK by his supporters Will stabilize oil prices - his supporters jubilate Fighting Boko Haram is genocide against the North - His supports applaud. will not attend Channels et al debate - His supporters say whats the need, he does not need to tell his potential employers (Nigerians) his plans Are you guys for real? Hypocrisy in 3D. |
This is a short write up i did on my blog about the current election madness that has gripped Nigeria http://afrispheric.com/events/and-they-all-went-mad/ Comments welcome! |
let me tell you guys two possible results and the final consequence 1. First Result possibility : Buhari's WASC result will miraculously appear with the number he stated. We will see that he did NOT get pass grades as expected by his principal or as stated by Buhari himself 2. Second result possibility : We never get to see any WASC certificate End Result: The credibility of your principle has been totally shredded. Nigerians will NOT forget all the skullduggery, deceit and to an fro's involved in this saga and he will NEVER recover from it, make my words. |
I posted this on the channels thread and i'm posting it here again for posterity sake. Ok folks, i have gone to premium times to download all the records of Buhari as released by the NA. It is instructive to note that THERE IS NO WASC CERTIFICATE amongst the records released by the NA This is the crux of the matter. Did Buhari actually sit for and pass the WASC with Credits in English Language, Geography, History, H/Science and Hausa, with a pass in English Literature as shown in pdf number 8 as released? We need to remember that the basis of Buhari joining the army in 1961 was the above WASC. This is still the basis of his academic qualifications to run for the office of the president of Nigeria as as written and sworn under oath by Buhari himself. It is not his experience as some are saying. He did not swear under oath about basing his aspiration on experience. He said he has WASC. We need to see that WASC certificate. Simple We as still waiting |

Why are these APC supporters making fools of themselves by being abusive? It just shows your lack of depth... Again, for the last time on this thread: 1. Your principal swore under OATH that he has a certain qualification 2. When asked to produce evidence of such, as REQUIRED by law, stories abound. 3. Its NOT about his so called experience, its about what HE PRESENTED that HE HAS. The constitution had made leeway for him, but he nailed himself by lying that he had WASC under OATH when he had none. Na im do imself abeg... You say have N10 on you, i asked you show it to me, you start dithering, stuttering, dallying and calling press conferences... #GMBRebrandinglies exposed! |
barcanista:You are an expert at playing smokes and mirrors, defending charades and grasping at straws my dear friend. I remember how you were THOROUGHLY whipped in the thread about Buhari building refineries. You had no answer then and you have no answer now. Whenever you are defeated, you withdraw to SaiBuhari! instead of logical reasoning. I question your cognitive ability, honesty or both really... Like i have said so many times, my grouse is that #APC is a party of liers and hypocrites parading themselves as saints and your Buhari epitomizes what is distasteful about your party. Thank God this certificate scandal issue has blown apart all his so called intergrity. Please let me know when you have facts and substance to deal in. |
Rilwayne001:Guy, Stop displaying ignorance. The INEC rule was amended after 2011, requiring all contestants to produce any qualification/certificate they claim to have. It was not so before 2011. That's why this issue is out now. |
Also, some are saying this is not a campaign issue. I laugh in Swahili. For man that has based ALL this campaign strategy on being Mr. Honest, Mr. Integrity, Mr. Corruption free, to be found to have LIED UNDER OATH, and to have STARTED HIS CAREER based on lie, it is a very big and valid campaign issue. Spin it anyway you like APC, this issue will NOT go away |

Is that enough reason to remove such an important subject?!?
