It is better to under-promise and over-deliver, than to over-promise but under-deliver.

This is in really poor taste.

Even if you were in the right (which I am seriously doubting), your attitude towards a previous customer is bad.

It is an indicator of how you will most likely treat future customers.

The project as it is costs 69m so far and mind you, we are not done like 100% because we haven't added TV shelves, wardrobes and completed the kitchen shelf to 100% yet. However, this is the expended amount so far up to date.

Caveat
- "This Project is peculiar to this site and can't be used as equal to even same design in another location because of some factors like foundation type and height, site location".

I followed this project. The house is lovely. Well done.

I don't know why some are saying the design is "ugly". People have differences in taste and the design is what the owner wants. His money, his choice.

Now, if the criticism was about structural deficiences, that would be a different conversation.

Personally, i doff my heart to the owner of the project, it is obviously a massive undertaking.

Starlink is a good and big deal. It will shake up the market and other telcos will be forced to improve their services and possible reduce their prices.

Just watch and see how the internet market in Nigeria will be disrupted with the entrance of Starlink. I've prepaid and waiting for the terminal and service to go-live.

@Dennis3D, I am wondering if the requirement for a foundation to cater for the soil type made a great difference in N18.5m spent to the decking level? In parts of the country (like Enugu) without water in soil issues, I am suspecting this cost might be lower right?

That's a very valid observation. However I don't mind having the visitor toilet right at the end of the house. This is a place I will use maybe 2-3 times a year so really not much human traffic to start with. Reason for the rather simple design.

The design was done a while back and the only thing i might like to change is have bedroom 1 & 2 sort of merged so their shared toilet and bathroom will not be available to anyone else.

Also, we have two lounges because we want to have a guest lounge and family lounge. However, if we have those very large village meetings, the partition walls call slide back to merge both lounges.

But let's see what Oga Spyder comes back with regarding costing of the current design.

Nice concept. Just an observation,....attach a visitor's toilet to each of the lounges. You don't want visitors going "deep" into your home just to use the restroom.

But i paid about N2,000,000.00 Naira ($5,000) to secure the land and other documents through my younger brother. Our area was south of the estate and presently still bushy. I will get some contact info and post it here.

I would also like an independent verification if you can tell us how much it cost you and which part of the estate you got your land.

You have been spot on with your analysis. The SW did not deliver the knockout blow for Buhari, so he needs to clean out at least 4 NC states with sizeable margins, if not the margins for GEJ from the SE/SS will erase Buhari. Also, GEJ got sizeable numbers in Ekiti to erase any numbers Buhari got in other SW states.

The margins will determine this election.
