Family › Husband Needs To Relocate To Nigeria Jamaican Wife Disagree by whiteroses(op): 12:10pm On Jul 23, 2009
My mum is a friend to a couple that goes to our church, the Guy is Nigerian while the girl is Jamaican, they love each other and already have two kids, now the guy says he's planning to relocate to Nigeria becasue UK life doesn't appeal to him at all and he is making plans already to relocate permanently, on the other hand the Jamaican girl said there is absolutely no way she is relocating to Nigeria, when she doesnt have any family and friends there, she concluded they both stay but the guy said he finds in terrifying to know that he is going to grow old in this country that is the last thing on his mind and out of the option, the girl also said no way she is relocating to Africa for the rest of her life, my mum talked to her and convinced her Nigeria is good and enjoyable and she said my mum should put her daughter (me) in her shoes if a Jamaican guy wants me to live in Jamaica for life will she agree and that was when I realized her point, but they both agree they want to be with each other for life only difference is He is not ready to stay in UK and she is not relocating to Nigeria either. the girl doesnt know this but the guy told us in two-four years he'd be living in Nigeria and their oldest child is just 4. the guy is determined to go he said he had suffered and lived for too long in UK and the first day he got here he knew he was going back home.
I still see them looking happy at church every sunday but they need to solve their differences, but who do you think is wrong and what would you do. I hope this will not ruin their relationship, my mum thinks hes pressured because he has younger brothers and sisters investing and doing well in Nigeria and they have a rich family company as well, maybe he's just angry at that lol

The school I think is still in existence. I think the school you're talking about is Jolayemi area, am I correct? Capital hotel is still intact and yes, it's around Estate area. Do you have an idea where your friend lives? I can ask a friend down there to trace her up for you. Get back at me.
@ FL Gators, Oyo men are hardworking men, but they are too local and are easily manipulated. You might think they are crafty but deep inside them is where venom resides.

And MOREMI is the first female king in Ile-Ife.

aww.  i remember there was a little stream beside my school and we saw a baby dumped in the stream, the baby must have been placed in the water very early and looked really pale because it spent too much time in water and not sure id dead or alive, we called our teachers and some staff went and called the police, meanwhile dogs started feeding on it, we chased the dogs but dint go, we watched as the dogs devoured the baby  sad i still remembered vividly, some locals said they saw a young lady early in the morning with a basket full of clothes but could hear a baby crying but never thought shes on a mission

Education › High And Low Ranked Uk Univerities, Do Nigerian Employers Know by whiteroses(op): 9:03pm On Jul 20, 2009
Hi I'm a student at staffordshire uni, this uni is ranked 74th out of 114, on the league table it was 72nd when i started now it went down to 74, my cousin graduated at keele(ranked 42nd)  and she's doing everything she can to make sure I leave staffordshire and start my 2nd year at keele but i dont see the point, she says nowadays in nigeria you can not pull the wool over any man's eyes because they know about all those "trotro" uni's in UK but i find it hard to beleive i mean arent they supposed to respect your qualification once it's from the UK? isn't it better than covenant uni , igbinedion and the rest, so is it true should I change?, also would you consider a uni ranked 74th on league table not to be a good uni.
I'm going back to naija straight after 2nd degree, I plan to do my 2nd degree in a more reputable uni, will it not make up for the low ranked one, so please answer as much accurate as you can thanks.
