4th August, 2021. AN URGENT CALL FOR ACTION TO STOP THE GENOCIDE TAKING PLACE IN IRIGWE LAND OF BASSA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF PLATEAU STATE BY FULANI MILITIAS. Ladies and Gentlemen of the press. I am pressed once more for the umpteenth time, on behalf of the ECWA Executive and the ECWA Family worldwide, to address the world, about an unfortunate event taking place right now on Plateau State of Nigeria as follows: 1. For over 21 years, the Irigwe people of Miango, a predominant Christian community, have been under attacks from Fulani Malitia that resulted in loss of lives, properties and farmland. The last 2 weeks, especially from Sunday 23rd July to Monday 2nd August 2021 has been the worst nightmare of the entire Irigwe land. The Fulani Militia, with every of their might have invaded not less than 15 villages, burnt and destroyed not less than 405 houses and churches inclusive, displaced about 20,000 people and destroyed thousands of hectares of farm crops. The main town of Jebbu Miango and its surrounding villages such as Kpachudu, Kpetenvie, Nche-Tahu, Tafigana, DTV and Zahwra are completely burnt down and displaced. Irigwe villages in Kwall and some in southern parts of Kaduna State have experienced similar attacks within the same period. Some of these villages include; Isho, Zirshe, Chuweh, Ntireku, Ghey, Kangbro, Dundu and Hwraa. 2. The IDPs from these villages are just camped within Miango and Kwall town. The situation is terrible and need urgent attention. Yet, even these two villages of refuge are presently threatened with genocidal attacks from the militias. 3. What is so sad and inexplicable is that, many of the villages, where these killings and burnings are taking place, are basically located behind the 3rd Armored Division Barrack of the Nigerian Army, yet, these militias are allowed to continue their heinous murders and carnage without any intervention by the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. This in the least, is very fastly eroding the confidence of the populace in the military and security agencies, as unbiased protectors of all, devoid of tribe, ethnicity or religion. We call on the state and federal governments and security agencies to intervene and prevail on the Nigerian Army and all security agencies to stop this genocide. The government must rise up to their responsibility of protecting lives and properties for all citizens irrespective of their tribes, ethnicity or religion, otherwise the country would fastly degenerate into total anarchy. 4. We also pray that this incidence will not end as usual, with no single AK-47 wielding militia being arrested, persecuted and brought to justice, while the indigenous locals, who tried to defend themselves with crude instruments, are paraded as aggressors, as had happened in some past incidences. Justice must be done and seen to be done. 5. Meanwhile, we also call on all the federal and state governments to, in the immediate, send relief materials to the displaced and distressed victims of this crisis, many who are hungry, homeless and helpless. The government should also deposit funds with selected reputable hospitals, for the treatment of the many victims of this crisis, who have sustained injuries of various degrees. 6. We are further calling on all well meaning Nigerians, to be their brothers’ keepers and open up their homes for the displaced persons, provide support for food, water, clothing and medical services to all the victims. 7. As a predominant Christian community under attack, the body of Christ within Nigeria and the world at large is particularly and deeply affected with this crisis. We call upon the entire Christendom to return to God in deep confession, repentance, supplication as we uphold our Brethren in prayer. God is watching and listening to our prayers and supplications. We should not give up calling upon Him and depend on Him wholly for this situation to be brought to an end, especially that all human authouries have woefully failed us. The gates of hades shall not prevail against the church of God in Jesus name! (Matthew 16:18). We should like king David in 1st Samuel 30:6, continue to find strength in the Lord! 8. Nevertheless, ECWA in obedience to Matthew 5:9 injunction, shall as much as God gives us the grace, continue to work with the government, NIREC, security and all other agencies for lasting peace that is premised on equity, justice and fair play. We have no option than this, because the Spirit of Christ Jesus compels us. 9. May the gracious Lord hear and answer our prayers and come to the rescue of our dear nation from the control of very wicked and evil people in Jesus name! Signed: Rev. (Dr.) Stephen Baba Panya ECWA President |
vedaxcool:Why blame PDP. The present administration in 2017 terminate the contract instead of regularizing the lapses in the initial agreement with Sunrise Power Coy Ltd. They re awarded the contract without taking cognizance of the breach in the initial agreement now a whopping $200m shall be paid as compensation in a country that's borrowing for virtually all her financial obligations. Myopic count. From Saturday night and this morning, Almost sixty corpses has been recovered from destroyed homes and bushes between Jebbu-Miango and surrounding villages to villages around Kwall. |

heniford2:The canonized and accepted scriptures are the 66 books found in King James Bible and other acceptable translations. The Bible that Romans tampered has more than 66 books. Not only Catholics, the likes of Jehovah witness and co tampered with the original scriptures canonized and accepted that made up The Holy Bible by substituting words that are fundamental to the Christian Faith. E g. Jesus as the Son of God is substituted in Jehovah witness Bible. |
If you're a candidate of heaven run from this false teacher. Hear the word of God: Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? |

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Both buildings shall one day have Pentecostal upper room experience to recognize the only One God by His spirit in Jesus name. |
*Open grazing was banned in Nigeria on April 17, 1969 and there was no appeal on that case up till now.* *JUSTICE ADEWALE THOMPSON BANNED OPEN GRAZING ON 17TH APRIL 1969 AND WARNED OF UNPROVOKED KILLINGS BY FULANI HERDSMEN* _*Hon. Justice Adewale Thompson Bans Open Grazing in Nigeria!*_ It is high time states put this law into practice and end unprovoked killings by Fulani herdsmen. *Hon.Justice Adewale Thompson’s 1969 Judgment on Open Cattle Grazing – Suit no AB/26/66.* Hon.Justice Adewale Thompson: 17th April, 1969. Suit no AB/26/66 at Abeokuta Division of the High Court. “I do not accept the contention of Defendants that a custom exists which imposes an obligation on the owner of farm to fence his farm whilst the owner of cattle allows his cattle to wander like pests and cause damage. Such a custom if it exists, is unreasonable and I hold that it is repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience and therefore unenforceable… in that it is highly unreasonable to impose the burden of fencing a farm on the farmer without the corresponding obligation on the cattle owner to fence in his cattle.” Sequence to that I banned open grazing for it is inimical to peace and tranquility and the cattle owners must fence or ranch their animals for peace to reign in these communities.” *This information should be shared widely so that state governors should be aware of it. It is not known that anybody appealed against this decision, so in law any open grazing is a violation of the law. State governors should set up Task forces that will enforce this law and arrest offenders.* - - - *Copied* |
The figure for Northern Nigeria is inaccurate because the north is not only hausas. My state have Ngas, Taroh, Berom, Irigwe, Anaguta, Jarawa, Amo, Rukuba and many other ethnic nationalities. |

"Word of encouragement to all our Daddies and Mummies in the Lord." THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION: 2 Corinthians 6:10 . As sorrowful, yet, always rejoicing; As poor, yet, making many rich; As having nothing, yet, possessing ALL things. One time I prayed, "God, if you have not done it in me, don't do it through me". And the Lord said to me: 'if I answer that prayer, you will limit me because there are so many things I will use you to do that I may not have done in you at that point in time, or will never do in you because it is not in your destiny to have it'. There is the Contradiction in every Commission. Can I speak to a Pastor? Don't be discouraged when God used you to raise the dead yet you buried your own child. Don't feel offended when God used you to Name and Dedicate twins for members when you are still childless after 10 years of marriage. People carry your handkerchief and return to testify how cancer disappeared from their body, yet your wife died of the same cancer. IT IS THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. Through your teachings, marriages are restored, men are loving their wives because of your counsel, yet your wife walked away and divorced you. Today you are wearing the wedding ring without a wife. Please be strong, it is the CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. There is no kind of exotic cars you have not dedicated for members, yet you are still the best friend of all motor mechanics in your community because of the challenge of incessant car repairs. IT IS THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. A Member came to you to confess how your teaching made her stop working as a prostitute. Today she is born again under your ministry, going through membership class, You went into your bathroom to cry profusely because you still have one or two ladies you still sleep with at your weakest moments. IT IS THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. I know a Pastor who went to hospital to pray for the sick. After his prayers, so many people appointed for death were healed and discharged. One of the persons who God healed through that Pastor went to the office of that Pastor to drop a Thanksgiving Seed, only to discover that the man who came to pray for him has a son that is crippled on both legs. He walks with his buttocks and also a deaf and dumb. I still can't understand how he managed to handle such healing mantle with such a problem at home. BUT IT IS THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. How do you explain a Man of God who sees every problem that is about to befall his Members. He will call them and reveal it to them with the solution to the problem, yet in his own case, his two sons died on their way to spend holiday with his in-laws without him seeing the accident coming. And he was the one that drove them to the park where they boarded the vehicle that will later be involved in an accident IT IS THE CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. NEVER GET TO THAT POINT WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO OFFER MINISTRY TO PEOPLE YOU ARE SENT TO BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU ARE SUFFERING. Please I beg you, don't throw away the great Commission God gave you because of the great Contradiction that goes with it. I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE! It is not always easy to survive but Grace is always available. My Father died on a Saturday morning, on my way to preach in a wedding ceremony. I still went ahead to preach. Because it is the CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. My younger sister died after I finished preaching in the first service. I still went ahead to preach in the remaining services for that same Sunday. After which I went to bury her and returned to start a week-long program, same week. It is the CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. I remembered my younger brother died on my way to service. I still went and preached in that service. After which I went to bury him and still returned back to preach the following day. IT IS A REALITY ALL SPIRITUAL LEADERS MUST ACCEPT. Because it is the CONTRADICTION IN OUR COMMISSION. Let me not talk about My wife who was admitted in the hospital for one year and three months while I was serving as a Pastor in Akwa ibom State. I went to hospital in Lagos State on a weekly basis for one year and three months. I will go on Sunday after church and return back on Saturday to preach on Sunday morning. Yet I was still counseling Members and encouraging them that God has never failed me. This is the CONTRADICTION IN MY COMMISSION. My Fellow Labourers, let us not run from our DRY BONES, because inside our DRY BONES are hidden our GREAT ARMY. IF GOD ALLOWS YOU TO GO THROUGH IT, IT IS BECAUSE IT IS NEEDED FOR YOUR NEXT LEVEL. Please a Word of Prayer to ALL PASTORS who are Courageous enough to be LEADING and BLEEDING at the same time. Thanks for reading. Copied. |
