it appears all dis commodities like gold,oil etc on dia day use to deliver pips in quantums.yesterday gold yielded over 300pips downward out of whch i ran away wit 61pips,nd today b4 my very eye a trade i entered yesterday on oil exceeded my tp of 79pips to make over 200pips upward in jst 2hrs.oh gosh!!! dat ws on demo,damn it!!!

jst want chip in somtin as regards to dis monthly target stuff.in my on opinion settin a monthly target of say 100% or 50% is nt bad at all bt in an event wia u cudnt mke ur monthly target of 50% or 100% bt ws able 2 mke 5% or 10% of it,u r stil a gud bussiness man as long as u didnt incure losses.hence meeting ur monthly target isnt a mandate in dis biz bt endin d month witout bein on d loosing side is,una gud morning nd happy PIPing

its a correlation table for the traded pairs.

here is how to use this table to ur advantage:

if your system give a buy on the eu, before jumping in, visit this table (for those who do not know), check on the line were you have eu, for a pair that is negatively correlated with the eu and the correlation is between -75% to -99%.

put ur system or indicator on that pair and confirm that you have a sell signal on that pair.(in this case it is usdchf)

were there is no signal on the negatively correlated pair then there is a every likelihood that you have a false signal or you may have an entry that is too early and could cost you ur stop loss.

if the pair has no negatively correlated pair, then look for a positively correlated pair within the range of percentage given above , and ascertain that there is a buy signal too e.g is ej and uj

if further explanation is needed pls let the house know.

similar 2 dis,if a pair e.g EJ is in an uptrend nd u spot a buy signal,go and crosscheck d current trend of UJ,if it is in a downtrend, go 2 EU whch definitely wud b in an uptrend,look 4 a buy signal nd take it nd ur chances of gaining more pips dan in EJ wud b higher.hope i didnt sound vague?

It has been a topsy-turvy ride of year as we never still reach that 6 figure account balance but but all the same we thank God
Will still be popping in daily to see what's up but no more live trades this year for me.

One thing I will like to advice newbies or anyone looking to take this market by the horn next year is to reduce the rate of trade entries. Last year was pretty cool for me but this year blew it out of the water because I went from 15-20 trades a month of last year to 5-7 trades a month this year. I have already finalized my plans for taking 1-2 trades each month next year and holding it for as long as it takes. Of course this method means deep patience but if you are serious you can do it. Instead of running up and down on the 5 and 15 minutes charts for 20pips, try and make the 4 hour charts your minimum time frame and target 500-1000 pips (depending on instrument being traded). Less spreads, less exposure to market forces and less mental and emotional stress.

There is a reason why swing traders have a higher chance of success than the everyday random day trader.
