The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.

I stood transfixed, staring at them for about 5 Minutes and was just turning my head around like AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING this,and then it hit me, i was no longer in Africa and even if i had been living in the US, i was yet to see two men kiss. It was a cultural shock for me to see two men make out.

I hated gays.

Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance,why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener.

And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other,they marry each other,they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.

As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.

While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them loving from each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.

In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.

So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone.

Thats not fair.....Well i will like to help only if you can send me the cargo details(airwaybill #) maybe i can find an easier means for her to receive it.This is the reason why exporter need to use competent freight forwarder who will file complete and right documents for them.That happen just because of how your agent file and declared the products details on the document.

Do you know its easy to export wood for cheap dollars? Do you know that buying about 10 tubers of Yam from villagers in Niger State cost around N1600 but you can sell 10 tubers at $40 ?. It sounds to good to be true? Forget all those guys that will lie to you that you need to get some bulk rubbish certificate to export and all that. its lie there are easy ways to have your way legal, using main agents and NEXIM exporters backing. I will stop here for now.

One of my friend called me yesterday that he will be taking one his new babe to my house. I asked him if it was just an ordinary visit, he said no that it was not an ordinary visit, that he intend sleeping with her. he said he needs some privacy in my house for at least 5hours, that he will come to collect my house key.

I asked him why he wants to use my house since he has a well furnished house? He told me that he doesn't want his real babe to walk into them accidentally in his house, that he needs a place like my house where his real babe don't easily visits. He said he was afraid that he may gets caught by his real babe cheating. I then told him that my house is not available that he should go and book a hotel instead, that i don't allow such thing in my house. I told him that i'm very sorry that it can't be possible. He then cut the call. I guess he was angry for my refusal to grant his request. i have been trying to reach him on phone since but to no avail. I would try to go and see him later.

Please is what i did wrong? Should i have left my house for him and his babe to do such thing?

Information just reaching my desk now from a man working on export of tubers to the united kingdom, he just confirmed that its very possible to ship in these tubers to UK. so for Nigerians in the UK its an opportunity to do biz over there.

Onuwaje why do some itshekiri people including u like removing yoruba influence from our heritage. It annoys the hell out of me. Most educated yorubas see us as one. I feel more comfortable amongst yorubas than among urhobo, ijaw or anybody so what is u people's stress?.

It is a known fact now that First Bank has been licensed and commenced the outward sending of Naira to other countries via Western Union since September while UBA was given go-ahead to send out by MoneyGram International since October. Union Bank has also just been licensed to send Naira out to over 200 countries covered by MoneyGram. Kindly share your experience with these services and the banks involved so far for sending outside Nigeria.

I tried to use WU by First Bank to pay for an online item and you must visit a branch to do that. I was there in September but was told that WU network was down "globally" for that period. Of course, I know that must be a lie and usual Nigerian factor. I proceeded to Victoria Island, Lagos where most banks have their healthy branches and a branch there confirmed same network palaver. They were only able to pay those receiving WU in Nigeria as they claimed receiving network was up while the sending network was down. The earlier branch also told me that to send out, you would either bring the naira cash or send it from your FBN account but they deal solely with naira and have no idea how much dollar or pounds or whatever currency it becomes at the destination country. In other words, they have no control over the WU exchange rate from Naira to other currencies. They also mentioned how much in Naira they do collect as WU charges on certain range of amounts you are sending, which I think tallies with the following fees I copied from WU website:

Sending =<$500 ($15 fee)
Sending $500.01 - $1,000 ($20 fee)
Sending $1,000.01 - $2,000 ($25 fee)
Sending $2,000.01 - $5,000 ($30 fee)
Sending $5,000.01 - $10,000 ($45 fee).

Share your WU and MG experience too whether sending out or receiving. By the way, is there any bank that can still receive in dollars or all banks give Naira by force? At what rate do they give you cash or credit your account? For those crediting your account (such as GTBank and Quickteller platform), can they credit it into your domiciliary account?

Update! Update!! Update!!!

For all those intending to place order to the above listed destination should please take note that transport cost per 100tubers is now N3,500

This was resulted to the truck drivers association of Ugba Yam Market, Benue State due to increment of corch fee on every truck.

So far this week a total of 900tubers is on the way to 2 destinations (Lag & Ph) belonging to @willyede and @coolscott.... I was just told this evening by @willyede that his client sold 20pcs of tubers already bearly 24hrs @d rate of 500naira each....... I screamed WOW!!!!!

This same gentle man(@willyede) is indeed thing of getting more states for supply(lolz....that's an expo)

Anyway thank God for this Week's deal and I've updated @willyede and @coolscott's whatsapp the pictures of truck,plate number and codes placed on their tubers.......

Next week is another deal week.....
