Sequel to my previous post about my boss and I.
It was a dramatic day for me yesterday. While everyone was enjoying Valentine's day celebration, I was summoned to a panel to explain my reasons for having to yell at my superior at work and not reporting to HR just like everyone has been suggesting on the comment section.
So I honoured the panel while a member of the board of directors was invited to hear from both parties.
My boss was emphasizing on the fact that I don't do the duties assigned to me, which is a BIG FAT LIE. Basically, he didn't have any cogent reason for his negative actions towards me. It was just pure hatred. I was then asked to talk, then I told the panel that since I was posted to his department, I've been getting negative vibes from him for no reason. I endured the whole hatred for 2 years and 3months under him without any retaliation.
Luckily, the MD had been briefed about the whole thing.
Now, i need you all to understand that I have a personal relationship with the MD.
So while the panel was ongoing, the MD called on zoom and interfered in the meeting. After hearing from both of us, he gladly ordered that my now EX BOSS be transferred to our portharcourt branch while someone else takes over with immediate effect.
Before I decided to yell at him, I had already made up my mind for whatever the outcome would be cos I had been pushed to the wall. Then the promotion even worsened the whole issue to the point that he couldn't hold the hatred other than to show it to me.
During pep talk this morning, y'all needed to see the look on his face. It was obvious he wanted me out, but to God be the glory, reverse is the case.

The MD later called me personally to admonish me about taking laws into my hands. I apologized and the whole thing ended.

I'm sorry for the long talk, but that's how it all played out.

I quite understand you well. But you see there's limit to which you can be patient. This man literally frustrates my work. He assigns works that I'm not supposed to do at all to me and I do with all diligence. This is an organization, and there are ways things are done. But he wants to always show himself.
I don't regret my action in any way at all.

I really don't know what I did to my immediate boss since I got promoted earlier this year. Ever since I got my promotion letter, my boss changed to me abruptly. He suddenly finds everything I do useless.

When I noticed the change, I went to him and begged him to tell me what I had done wrong so we could settle everything and get back along. But he said I did nothing wrong and I shouldn't worry about anything. So I locked up and was doing my job to the best of my ability.
So he did something that sparked my madness and anger.

I got an email that I was to go on board our vessel to go and load from Lagos cos our mother vessel berthed in Lagos. And cos of my promotion, I'm not supposed to be a crew member anymore. But I was surprised to see the mail and went to his office to address the issue, next thing he said was 'IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR DUTY, YOU CAN RESIGN'.

That statement really sent chills down my spine and I sparked and told him really derogatory words. I don't even feel anyhow about my reaction.
I'm happy I told him his life history.
I'm very excited to have poured my mind out to him.
If I get sacked, I won't feel bad, rather I'll be glad I told him what I told him.

My girlfriend of 2 years just got back from Ukraine after her master’s degree program and since then, she’s been frequently coming to stay with me since I’ve been on land and working from my office.

Last week, I was billed to go to our Portharcourt office because our vessel berthed there. So immediately I got the mail, I decided to quickly dash home, pick a few things I’d be needing and then move. So it happened that the electric current in the neighborhood was relatively low and couldn’t pump water and my generator isn’t in good shape. So she made arrangements for a generating set to pump water( she told me over the phone).

When I got home, I decided to park outside the gate since I was moving almost immediately. On entering the gate, I saw her and a certain boy carrying the generator to return cos the tank was already filled (she said she called the guy to help with the gen. They know each other before she traveled out).

So I just greeted them casually and they put the gem in my car and went to return it. So I decided to have a quick bath before embarking on my journey. To my greatest surprise, I saw a used condom wrapper in the bathroom. At that point, my whole body system changed and I couldn’t even bathe again. I just wore my clothes, and waited for her to return with my car so I could move. Not long after, she came back and I just told her to call me and explain what’s in the bathroom then I zoomed off.
She claims she doesn’t know anything about the condom, then later told me it was the guy that came with his girlfriend.

I’ve not picked her calls since then cos I don’t even know what to think anymore.
Please I need advice guys. I’ve not been home since last week cos I’m so disappointed in her.
A part of me wants to forgive her, but I’m being skeptical.

So I was coming in from our branch in Port Harcourt and was on my way back to Warri. After a while, I noticed that I needed to top up my tank. So I branched a filling station and immediately the attendant saw me, she started smiling suspiciously, then I whined down the glass and told her to sell #5k fuel. Just then I picked my phone to check few messages. But in my head I was following up on the fuel she was selling but I wasn't looking at what she was selling. So I then looked up just when she finished selling, and I saw#4500. Then she quickly pressed something and the whole price stuff on the pump changed to 000. Immediately I suspected a foul. Afterwards she started asking me to move my car that she wanted to sell to other customers. But I refused to move my car cos it was becoming loud and I wanted her manager to hear so he or she would come,, and as God would have it, a middle aged man came and introduce himself as the manager. Then I told him to ask her how much fuel she just sold , she said #5k. Then I requested that she shows the last fuel she sold on the pump meter. And it showed #4500. Then I told the manager he just lost a customer, collected my #500 change and zoomed off.

Yhh. That was probably her intention, but it didn't remove anything from me cos it was out of the true love I had for her I did the sponsoring. I have been to about 25 counties in the world cos my job takes me to so many countries. So what upgrade would she want again?? That's why I said reason(s) for her action still baffles me till today.
NB: She never lacked anything.

I've not heard from her since 2016 that she left for Canada. After the text she sent me on Facebook that she had arrived the Vancouver airport, we've not had any form of communication till today. I went to drop her at the MMIA in Lagos and waited till she was about to fly.
We didn't have any form of misunderstanding before she left.
Reason behind her action still bothers me till today. But God knows best.

My boss and I just got off Whatsapp now and he asked me to just pick anyone I like out of the numerous applications there were for the post of manager at his personal company, because we work with the FG. Now, that post comes with huge bonuses such as :

Vacation to different parts of the world every year.
And a very fat salary as well.
(All these are funded by the FG).

I had to use this account to pour my heart out and seek advice on what to do... It's a long read!!

Sometime around April ending, I was privileged to follow one of my bosses at work in the company chopper to leave the oil rig.
On getting to land, I spent just two days in my house and then traveled with my car down to see my parents cos it was mom's birthday and I had a surprise for her. And I got a federal pass to travel at that period. So I got to ibadan around 4pm and called mom and she said she was in church for a program. And there was nobody home, so I had to go wait for mom in church. (that was the first time in 11 years that l visited home last). So I just spotted this girl while service was on. I didn't recognize her at first, then after service, I approached her and found out she was my one time crush. We exchanged contacts and we departed.
We started seeing almost on a daily. Driving round and merrying. So I started developing feelings for her again, but she said she just got out of a relationship that she needed some time. I told her I'd wait, but we saw on a daily.
Moms birthday surprise, we both planned it and it went well. She really helped with cooking and everything. She was almost in charge of everything sef.
Mom was using corner eye to look and whispered something in my ears( don't let her use this one to deceive you o, take your time and study her). I thanked her and everyone had fun. She couldn't go home that night and I noticed she put her phone off through out the whole birthday period.
Meanwhile I was on cloud 9 already. All I wanted was just sleep. So she came and had a shower and then lay beside me and was touching me, but I didn't want to touch her, all I wanted was just sleep. So she got the code and just left me alone and slept.
The following morning, she was squeezing face and I asked what the problem is, she just grumbled and told me to go drop her.
After I dropped her off, I didn't hear from her again for about 3 days. I was even paranoid thinking it was because of what happened that night she was acting up?
So on the 4th day, I got a call from an unknown number and it was her....She said her dad wanted to see me. Meanwhile, she's a 27 year old graduate o. She has her own fashion institute, but her father is always on her case. To the point the man said she won't move away from the house except he hands her over to the husband that comes to marry her. He's a serving military man. He's very strict. It's his nature. So everyone knows him to be stubborn in the neighborhood.
So she called me and said her father wanted to see me. I was startled. But I still summoned courage to see the man. If I know, I for no go for night.
I entered the gate and from the way the soldier at the gate answered me ehn, I sensed danger, but I still summoned courage and went inside. When I got into the sitting room, he was at the dining table eating, I greeted him, he didn't reply. I greeted again, he didn't reply. So I just shut my mouth and waited in the sitting room. He finally finished eating and came to me, he said sir down.
Then he brought out a book and dialed a number, the number didn't go through. Not long, her mom came and joined us in the sitting room. I greeted her, she just mumbled the reply. And next thing the man stood up and asked me where I got the effrontery to keep his daughter in my house overnight. That was when I knew she was grounded through out the time her number didn't go through.. The man said he seized her phone. I was surprised. I told him it wasn't intentional, that day was my mom's birthday and she helped with the cooking and she was so tired when she was done and she decided to sleep over. He just sparked again. This man was jacking me up o.
Next he asked who is your father.. I told him and described our house to him, so you're that nice man's son? I said yes. Then he calmed down and then told me never to get close to his daughter again except I have something strong for her. I was just dumbfounded and didn't know what to say or do. I just greeted him goodnight and left.
I wanted to sue him, but he get connection pass me. So I let him be. But the daughter still begs me till tomorrow when we talk cos I stopped talking to her for a while.
But I love her. She's a good entrepreneur.
Me im scared to the bone cos the father doesn't think of the aftermath of his action before he makes orders. And before he'll realize, he has done what he wants to do. My mind is with her sincerely, but I'm scared seriously. What should I do??
She got out of the previous relationship because her father also harassed the guy and he ended things with her.
