aminu114: ciprofloxacine ?? i remember a time when i was having mild fever and one doctor prescribed it to me i bought it i was about to take take when i sighted a warning written on the pack ""flouroquinoles causes tendonitis and tendon rupture in all ages"" i google tendonitis and tendon rupture since that day im afraid of ciprofloxacine. wish u quick recovery nd hope its not tendon rupture. Recently I was sick and went to the hospital. I knew my problem required antibiotics so I went to the hospital with a pack of ofloxacin that has a black box warning on it that says fluoroquinolones administered orally can cause peripheral neuropathy. I showed the black box warning to the doctor but he didn't want to look at it properly. I told him I am suffering from chronic neuropathic pain and also told him what caused it. After all the talking he prescribed levofloxacin which is a fluoroquinolone known to cause neuropathy, tendon rupture and many other health complications. When I figured out the type of antibiotic he prescribed for me I didn't go back to tell him about it. I went else where. |

aguerogh: windhunter I suspect you where given a dose of one of these fluoroquinolone antibiotics, read this post on reddit and follow the subreddit it might help you. https://www.reddit.com/r/floxies/comments/bk00gd/levaquin_changed_my_life_my_floxiehope_story/ Thank for your contribution. I read the post but couldn't figure out what actually helped him to recover. He experimented with different drugs. Some which are pricey and some of them yielded positive results. He also seems to have substantial knowledge of the medical field. It is not easy to read and digest some articles written by medical experts if you are not in the medical field. |

IdioticNLmods: Remove that number 1, his forum is a disgrace, it fuels hate speech, tribalism and mediocrity You are very wrong to have said this. The hate comments you see here are a reflection of who Nigerians are as a people or are you going to say Facebook too is a disgrace to the global community? Nigerians post hate comments on Nigerian Facebook groups the same way they do on nairaland. |

olaeffect: So I buy something and they charge me vat, I transfer funds to pay for the thing I bought and they also charge me vat? Abi he is referring to online based shops/market related transactions like jumia etc, maybe they are not captured yet on vat payment. I think the 5% vat will apply to cash transactions done over the internet. This should include paying for items purchased on the internet (i.e jumia), fund transfer over the internet (i.e using your mobile banking app). |
