RoughCut:My bros you see am so? Me sef get some couple of million units inside. Make dem list quick quick jare. ![]() |
Naijadr:I doubt that Bigtreat will hit N10, but you never know with the way the market is performing these days. Imagine Alumaco at 21, meanwhile a bank like FCMB with waaaayyyy better fundamentals and prospects is trading at below 20 @Highlander: I don't know where niwicable will be headed to, and I don't know when either. That na bigboylarry question Howeve they're projecting PAT of 500m so you decide what value you want to place on the stock. |
@all who participated in the union diagnostics PP, I just confirmed from someone at First Registrars that all the certificates have been posted. There was 100% allotment. |
@Naijadr, sorry I had to log off yesterday, been very busy. @CrazyT (I can't believe you've been holding cash for 2wks For this week, my cico recommendations are: niwicable (both cico and medium term) neimeth (terrible fundamentals, but i'm in for a quick 10-15% and will only hold for a few days), may&baker (not-so-good fundamentals, but could also make the quick 10 - 15%). Of course Monday or today would have been the best entry points but that depends on your return objectives. Bigtreat is also beginning to look like a good cico candidate. For the medium term, I would target stocks like STD. Insure (which I already own) -- it should be off TS by the time most insurance stocks are at year highs. The company has diverse revenue streams and has been growing topline, bottomline and margins (esp.) at an impressive rate. Forward PE based on a projected PAT of 600m -- which I believe is very conservative -- is 27. The only caveat is that the company has convertible preferred shares, though i'm not sure if the investors in those shares have converted and sold already. ABC Transport is also good for the medium term, though if I were to hold it for that long, I won't hold beyond the end of May or early June, which historically has been the time around which the stock experienced its highs. For the long term, a lot of those bank stocks (FCMB, Oceanic, UBA) are good. Some PPs are also worth looking at for LT investing. Of course, all the caveat types apply. ![]() |
@Naijadr, I think I might have some ideas on your 2mil question. But it depends on what your objectives are and what time frame you're lookin' at. So what are your objectives and what timeframe do you have in mind? |
Naijadr:Yes o, you should be able to squeeze 15% out of ABC very easily. I was able to get more than that on Josbrew, which I bought and sold quite quickly. Those ones dey highly risky so me no dey recommend those kind of moves o. ABC is good sha. The little pumpkin is doing great. She's not walking yet (haba, were you walking at 6mths ). With the bright eyes and breath-taking smile, it's all simply amazing! Plus there's two cute little teeth showing up in front of the gums (looks like those teeth come in twos) By the way, what branch of medicine do you practice? |
windywendy:Actually I need to put a caveat here o. I didn't actually recommend ABC, it was a cico stock for me based on several reasons. But I think I might hold it for more than just a few days, at least until it meets my objectives. |
Naijadr:LOL!!! That's the name of the game now o. But I've recommended the stocks on the forum before na. They're livestock feeds (which I sold already) and ABC Transport. |
@Wanaj0, I think i've heard of Dorman Long. They used to be a PwC client right? Pls what's the news with them? Any PP in the offing? Also, any new thing on Negris? |
@Fatherof2, welcome back o. Me think say you vex commot. The CCNN matter no be the koko of the thing wey I dey talk before. I don tell you the thing wey vex me pass for that your post from that time, and I'm sure you get the idea. CCNN was just an anecdote. Anyway, the matter don resolve, so back to normal business . It's good to see you back. As per the unilever, for me, I didn't see any real difference between the price I sold at and my initial target exit. I saw another stock capable of giving me more upside than what unilever had to offer and so I sold and moved in. The other stock, which I've since sold and moved into another, returned over 50%. In that same timeframe unilever hasn't even been able to do 10% more. Na opportunity cost me dey look o. Even the other stock I entered after selling the one that returned over 50% has gained like 13% already. I'll be revisiting unilever at another opportuned time Make you no dey there too long o ![]() @yodiyokun, yes o, i dey see niwicable. I didn't think it would go below the 12 mark but from the look of things it seems like it might touch 10. I sold some when it touched the 14 mark and wanted to re-enter either today or tomorrow. I've put my broker on alert to get it for me as soon as he notices it bottoming out. It's a good medium to long term stock (more medium term for me) and I have my eye on it. |
It's official, today is an "ish" day. Just confirmed from my broker that he got the ABC. Guess he was sharpish afterall .Oya all of una, happy-ish weekend-ish. Be BULLISH everyoneish ![]() |
bigjay01:Yes o, I was on that train. ah aaaahhh, didn't you notice the lady that parachute-ed out shapishly like two days ago? that was me na . No need telling you how much loot I grabbed on the way out -- even the parachute nearly gave way ![]() Anyway, N10 looks like the point at which a lot of peeps are looking to sell, so you might want to be watchful. I'll be revisiting later. |
RoughCut:Wait o, speaking of milk, is the effect of the milk and valium combo that dollyp1cute took like two nights ago still taking its toll? Aktopgun and blueband e be like say na rapid response squad na go send go bring dollyp back to regular posting o Anyway the good news is: ABC seems set for an early turnaround -- if the prices on nigersec are anything to go by, that is. I told my broker to buy more at today's low, and I hope he did. This one wey e come be like say today na "ish" day, I hope he won't be slugg-ish ![]() |
koksieboy:Chei see question ![]() |
koksieboy:Yes, yes they were. I used to be heavily involved in organizing several campus programs in which they would perform and oftentimes I would perform with them. We used medilag alot for practice during those infamous ASUU strikes. That's the reason I was asking aktopgun if he recognized them from medilag. |
RoughCut:awww, and you had to go spoil blueband's day . . . thou wickedish one ![]() |
@aktopgun, I have a question for you: did you know a group called exousia while you were at medilag? |
aktopgun:Ah, Nascon ke? Ok wait a minute, make I first remove my shades ![]() Chei, you don hammmmmeeeerrrr. This one na cico abi na medium to long term? Dem don declare am last year say na 60kobo dividend dem go pay. |
pumping777:IGZAKTLI ![]() |
rasputinn:No na. We're trying to be kindish but the brokish guy that went a-borrowing is kind of dummy-ish so we just can't help being wickedish in a good way of course . Perhaps we should be smirk-ish as well abi ![]() |
aktopgun:Chei ![]() |
blueband:I doubt it o. But you'll need to see the cut-off date first. |
lawalidowu:This question hard o, and I no come get crystal ball. . I don't know the answer to this question, but if the way that the other good bank stocks that went on TS performed post-TS is anything to go by, i'm not sure you'll be seeing skye bank going to 25 shortly after TS. It might get there but not likely before profit takers do their thing. My opinion o, plus all the usual caveats apply. |
blueband:You be sure to check that cutoff date to qualify for rights oh. Becos if you bought this week, chances are that you won't qualify for rights. |
loma:LOL!!! ![]() And I suppose that if he borrowed the money that he used to play the market, he'll be deadish by the time the creditors come a-knockin' ![]() |
Afprint holders, I would sell tomorrow if I were in your shoes or am I . |
grabdaloot:grabdaloot! grabdaloot!! grabdaloot!!! na ow many times I call you so?? If this na play make you stop am o. Otherwise make you kuku tell us in plain language the tin wey dey brew for the alphaBETS soup . This na nairaland na and we be hommies, so if you get anything make you talk am sharpish sharpish. My ear don dey ground. Oya . . . |
grabdaloot:Abeg which company is this one? By the way, welcome back! Where you bin dey since? I was wondering if you had changed your name to grabdbull not by the horns sha, 'cos that might cause some katakata ![]() |
invisible!:Yes o, that's the risk with CICO. Infact na serious un-awares the thing take me . Even my broker was speechless But my entry price was in the safe zone, so i'm not worried at all. After the profit takers do their song and dance routine, we'll all be back on our happy . No panic selling o, it's a good company and depending on how low it falls i might pick up some more units. Chei, and to think that dollyp1cute took valium with her milk yesterday because of this . Anyway let's hope that by the time she wakes up from that valium effect the price trend would have reversed ![]() @Pumping, if you believe that news about ABC, then what the heck you might as well believe that windywendy is the current president of Nigeria ![]() Today dey busy for me no be small. I'll be posting much later. |
SavvyLanre:Even if pumping no vex, me I go vex Them don answer you plenti times on this question na. It's the alphanumeric one and that's the one that will be used to credit your cscs account. I filled it out on my oceanic PO application and got my cscs credited directly. |
grabdbull:Quick CICO? Footware. Risky but worth it (my opinion). I got in today. All caveats apply as usual. |
looks like deap capital is on suspension. Any idea when they'll be doing their PO? |
