Who was God talking to..... During God's great work of creation, many faith's record that God Almighty used the plural word "US".
In Genesis 1:26 God says "Let us
make man in our image, after our likeness.
What does God mean when he says "us"? Let us make
man in our image. Who is "us"?
Was He speaking to angels or other heavenly beings?
Was He speaking to Himself?
Why is the plural employed in this passage?

First, let's read the passage:
GEN 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in
Our image, according to Our likeness; and let

birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all
the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creeps on the earth."
GEN 1:27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Now, to whom is God speaking? Some have said that He is
speaking to angels or some other heavenly beings in His presence. The problem here is, why does He say that He would create man in "our" image? Then, in verse 27, it says that we are created in God's image.

We are unique because, unlike all of God's creation, we have been made in His image, not the image of angels, animals or any other beings. We have a kinship directly related to God. We possess spiritual characteristics that allow us to be aware of ourselves, make conscious decisions and have dominion over the animals and earth. No, God was not speaking to angels or any other created heavenly beings.

Was God speaking to Himself? If He was, then why did the writer use the plural instead of the singular? Certainly, in most every instance where one is talking to himself, there is no need for the
plural.
The obvious, but to some degree, hard to grasp answer is, God is speaking to others who possess the qualities of God. That is, He is speaking to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There are three that
have the attributes of Deity, possess the Divine Nature.

1 John 5:7-8 - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one".
They agree as one in purpose and action, but they are three
distinct beings who play different roles in the Divine work of
creation and salvation. Some other passages in Genesis help us understand that there is more than one being who is God.

GEN 3:22 ¶ Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the
man has become like one of Us, knowing good
and evil; and now, lest he stretch out his hand,
and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and
live forever"
GEN 3:23 therefore the Lord God sent him out
from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground
from which he was taken.
GEN 3:24 So He drove the man out; and at the
east of the garden of Eden He stationed the
cherubim, and the flaming sword which turned

Then, in the New Testament, the picturebecomes even clearer as all THREE are clearly identified in various passages. Just as man and woman are two distinct beings who possesses the image of God, so there are three distinct beings that possess the Divine qualities that make them God.

MAT 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to

in heaven and on earth.
MAT 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of
all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Jesus (God the son) addresses satan In Matthew 4:7 - Jesus

John 8:58 - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily,
I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Just as man was created in the image of God, man is likewise a
trinity. He has a spiritual nature that is separate and distinct from the body in which it dwells. The two following passages from the Bible clearly establish the fact that man is a triune being composed of spirit, soul, and body:

So is The trinity of man is an essential part of the image relationship between him and God. Life is not ultimately physical and the body is not the whole man. And we might add that neither the body in itself, nor the soul in itself, nor the spirit in itself makes up the whole man, but he is “spirit and soul and body.” This must be seriously considered and definitely agreed to before we can comprehend with any accuracy the subject
of life after death.

Genesis 3:19 - In the sweat of thy face shalt
thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground;
for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art],
and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 - Then shall the dust return to
the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return
unto God who gave it.

Guys jump into conclusion that girls don't want to date a broke guy simply because he has nothing to offer financially, but this is not true in all cases, a girl that loves you sees you in her future like her husband. She wants the best for you cos she sees you in her future, a girl can date a broke guy but no girl will intentionally marry a broke man.

I love my broke boyfriend because firstly am not dating him for financial reason and 2ndly because I see a bright future in him, but one thing remain, I can't marry him if he continues being broke.

I have stopped condemning girls that doesn't settle for less, there are so many disadvantages of dating a broke guy namely:

*talk about a boring relationship; when your female friends are going places with their rich bf, you are just there lying on his bed staring at each other's faces in his heated room.

*your friends will not respect him; by the time your female friends get to know about his brokeness the respect will just not be there anymore, girls love each other and they want the best for each other.

*he will always disgrace you; yes! This is most annoying, a little amount of money will cause fight between you two, imagine asking your broke boyfriend to at least present himself in a wealthy way to impress your female friends by buying provision or something for them will make him tear you apart.

*he commands too much respect; this is funny, even rich guys that can afford to buy expensive things for their woman doesn't command as much as him, I guess this is done so you won't disregard him.

*he will naturally look stingy to you ; imagine asking your broke boyfriend to help you with #500 when he himself already has a plan for the only #1000 left with him, this is ridiculous because by the time he decides to impress you with 2000# you won't just be feeling him anymore.

This is just a few of what I can remember now, guys should note that their being financially okay brings a kind of hapiness to their girlfriend/fiancé not only because of what they will enjoy from you but because they see their dream being fufilled through you, you live in the best house, drive the best car and all tell me if ur partner won't be proud to show you off.

I love my baby very much but as little as 100# can cause a misunderstanding btw us. God knows the kind of joy that will fill my heart the day he will be financially ok.

I guess some guys don't understand me, I am only asking the guys to be rich for their own good not because of a leech girlfriend/fiance. I am not after my Boyfriend's money or anything, his happiness is mine also and I know he will be happy by the time he is financially ok to cater for all his own needs and beyond.

If you become financially successful it is your name that will be known not your wife's name talkless of a girlfriend, that is why I used Dangote and ADenuga as example...how often do you guys hear of Mrs dangote or Mrs adenuga? Is it as often as both men? NO! And in case the woman is as sucessful as the likes of omotola jalade, ngozi iweala their man is as successful as them.

As much as I try to fix sense into your post, its just gets more unreasonable......I can almost ascertain you even make a mockery of your boyfriend in his presence.....if you as a girl are not a broke leech or too busy working to make something out of life, there shouldn't be a problem.....girls like you suffer in the hands of guys till your old age, you boyfriend would be the greatest fool to read this article and not have a secret plan to ditch you when he eventually makes it.....Ask your parents if they are still together especially your mother how she made it in marriage cos with your low intelligence you can't get anywhere......70 percent of the successful marriages you envy today, the man and woman grew into financial stability together, not because ladies found rich husbands. CoCoLav: Well...no matter how career oriented I am, I know that raising a family will always come first. A career can come after my family. My father has always told me that a time will come when you have all you want and money will mean nothing to you. Only your family will remain and you will be blessed to have them.

I know women who chased their careers and are now very rich but still sow seeds for marriage in church on Sundays. There's no time limit to making money but there's a time limit for having kids. There's no joy in coming home to an empty house.

You can be successful even after marriage and let's face it, at the end of the day who are you working for? its your kids. You work to provide for them and make them have a better life not really for yourself. Right now all i keep thinking of is an effective way to balance the both. Everything comes with a price and at the end of the day you choose that which is more pleasing to you so don't go castigating those who have made raising kids their ambition.

Anyone
who accuses someone else of intimate sins

eighty lashes (24:4). 6. Husbands are a

above their wives in status (2:228); reliable
hadiths say the majority of the inhabitants of
hell
are women only because of their "harshness
and
ingratitude," not for any numerical majority
around the globe. 7. A male gets a double
share of
the inheritance over that of a female (4:11).
8. A
woman’s testimony counts half of a man’s
testimony because she may "forget" (2:282).
Reliable hadiths say this law is based on the
"deficiency of a woman’s mind." 9. A man
may
divorce his wife merely if he says "I divorce
you"
three times (2:229). This verse is baffling
because
it does not say explicitly "three times." But
Islamic
law interprets it in this way. 10. A wife may
remarry her ex-husband if and only if she
marries
another man, they have sex, and then this

man divorces her (2:230). 11. Husbands may
hit
their wife or wives (4:34). 12. Mature Muslim

may marry and consummate their marriage
with

endorsed:
Muhammad himself traded in slaves and

Let them Explain this cruelty and violent acts in a
relígion of peace and love, and explain why
