The universe does not care if you do good all your life or hack people to death all your life. And trust me, not everyone wants to live the everyday good life. If you study personality at any educational level, you'll understand what i'm saying. Not everyone has that personality to submit to societal dictates. Your "good" life may be too boring for such people. Afterall, We are just cell bags accidentally crawling in a cosmic dust somewhere in space (according to atheists).

So with the few years we all have, people can live their good and bad lives to the fullest.

The Lord's prayer is enough. A part of it says:
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us

This is a part that potrays an individual as a victim of trespass. And Victim is better than victimizing another individual.
My point: Forgiving people who have offended you is a prerequisite for forgiveness from God, how much more people whom you've offended.

That simple prayer places your care for your fellow human above your requests from God. And that is what christianity stands for. Love
Its evident you still retain many things you learnt from christianity, albeit unknowingly.

Still, the universe does not care of you are good or bad. Some people want to be bad, its the life they want. And neither you nor society has the freaking right to tell them what to do. They have as much universal rights to be bad as you do to be good.

You were never a christian, or probably a lukewarm christian.. I was also a christian for about 2 years before I gave my life to Christ.
You never really understood what you were into, you only played along simply because that was what was required of you at the time.

Joshua made a simple request to God. Joshua may not have had the slightest idea about the cosmos and probably thought the sun moves (as seen from an earthbound perspective).
God who created the universe and who is capable of compensating for any complications thereafter understood perfectly this request and granted it.

A God who created a universe as magnificient as this, who created man who knows next to nothing about the universe, is completely capable of anything. And I mean anything.

My existence violates every natural law. When I look in the mirror, that's all the proof I need to know there's a God.

It seems you are new here sweetie. Atheists in here are seriously hurting and are not willing to entertain your testimonies or discussions. Its pretty difficult to hate God and also condone comments that disprove atheism. Some of them have gone through trauma and several negative occurences and so they want as many people to join them in this rebellion against God.

I mean, how does one rationalize the fact that atheists here spend the whole day talking about a God that (according to them) does not exist.
How does one rationalize the fact that they are trying to sell hopelessness/meaninglessness to us, all to no meaningful end because the world is (according to them) supposed to be meaningless.

Meaning does not come randomly from chaos and that is enough proof of an intelligent Creator.

I was a strong believer. But this was after I gave my life to christ. I detested sin and did all in my power to avoid it even if it ment dying. The conversion was solely based on the fear of hell but reason took over and I began to doubt the Abrahamic God. That's where you missed it man. The fear of God would have been more appropriate. The acknowledgement of his preeminence. You don't believe things out of fear. I don't spend time thinking about hell. As a matter of fact, i think about heaven most times and what it could look like.
