Btw, the Delta state government can’t claim the money because they told the UK court clearly during the trial that the money doesn’t belong to them and government’s money was not missing or stolen. On that basis, the UK government will never agree to returning the money to the same Delta state government that made such a silly claim in court. for the first time, I'm forced to agree with you |

I drove down to a nearby refilling station to buy petrol this evening and i was shocked it’s now sold for 175-190/liter (excluding the already tampered fuel pump). It shall never be well with Buhari, his thieves and all those who voted this evil government in power. As for those of you still supporting this government because of stipends y’all benefits from them, Doomsday will visit you all! We discernible minded people see the evil this crony capitalist truly are. Nigeria feel they're helping the economy, they've always been after their own interest. Funny enough, these same set of capitalist won't dare try this abroad, they know it's a business malpractice which is criminal and highly punishable. They can only get away with this nonsense here in Nigeria |

Shikena: Absolutely untrue. Zungeru was 'officially' conceived in 1982 under the government of Shehu Shagari so can't be someone's 'brainchild' 30 years later, I won't even be surprised if the project was already lying on someone's desk long before 1982. It was never implemented due to dwindling resources that led to austerity measures by the government. The project was revisited and approved by Goodluck Jonathan's government in 2012 and agreement signed with the Chinese partners in 2013. On paying the counterpart funding in full.... I no know book but we were making lots of money from oil back then so it's possible.... just don't bet on it... regardless, it's a project of the federal government of Nigeria I agree with you on that. It wasn't really the brainchild of GEJ's administration. The plan has always been there along with the Gurara, Mambilla and Kashimbilla hydro power plants. But we can agree it was in GEJ's administration we saw the counterpart funding of projects with China on Zungeru, Gurara and Kashimbilla hydro plants. GEJ didn't do much about the Mambilla, hopefully Buhari will do something about it |
Politics › Re: Photos From The Construction Of Zungeru hydro-Power Project by winterfell007(m): 6:38am On Feb 25, 2021 |
NASTYNASOSO: The project is largely financed by the Chinese CCECC with the Nigerian government contributing 15% worth $194 Million Dollars as its counterpart funding andit will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari approved and paid this money at once to ensure the speedy completion of this Project. At the bolded, please stop misinforming the general public. It was the GEJ's administration that paid the counterpart funding for the project. Truly, you guys are fantastic at telling lies and distorting records. Thank God Google is there to clarify things |

Gerrard59: Oga,
Oil is here to stay. China and India construct three coal plants monthly and still purchase large quantities of crude oil to supply their power plants. Africa is yet to be developed and will seek to use the cheapest forms of energies which are fossils. In fact, apart from transportation, it's hard to replace oil across other areas. Which renewable will replace plastics! Fertilisers? Detergents? Chemicals?
Oil is not going anywhere. You lie!! China and India don't construct coal fired power plants monthly. In fact, they're phasing out their coal plants minimally. Both countries have committed to Paris Accord. Their financial institutions don't commit to projects that contribute significantly to carbon footprints |

What do he want, Portharcurt is already the capital of Rivers state, how many Ijaws are working in Juicy position in PH government, other tribes are fine, Akwa/Cross are busy with development, Leave Niger Delta for Ijaws before you bring another tags on the Igbos becuase ones you Igbos from that side commit any crime it will rub off on all of us, better respect Your Rivers state, mind your 4 local government there is no way a minority will dictate for the majority of Niger Delta don't, before you drag Igbos into your oil politics They're not even four, Ikwerre are only present in three local government areas |

Amotolongbo: Investing on Ranching isn’t also a dependable investment as crypto cos life of the animals are not dependable. They can die at anytime from disease
I don’t blame Adamu, “nani nani la n nani, omo asegita n nani epo igi” (one’s value can’t go beyond one’s exposure) A Fulani is exposed to cattle, hence all the mentality of a Fulani will always be centered around cattle.
Adamu thinks cattle is the greatest investment. If investing in cattle is the greatest investment, How many northerners got their wealth from cattle? Even though that idiot is a real clown. He's got some points admittedly. Investment in cow ranching is a quality asset that is measurable unlike crypto, you cannot really pinpoint its intrinsic value. It's kind of a 'bubble and bust' investment cycle |
