Theoutsider: Unless you understand bitcoin.. do not make an argument. Bitcoin follows the same lines of the Nasdaq so is the Nasdaq a bubble? If so, whats your point? My point is you're buying a currency whose true value isn't really defined. Don't compare it with NASDAQ, which is simply an exchange commission that principally trades in equities of listed companies whose value you can measure based on the goods or services they provide. These crypto assets looks very cryptic to me. You can't measure its true value. It's not intrinsic. Iamj seems to be right. No one or government anywhere in the world seem to guarantee the 'pseudo asset' |

iamJ: people said worst to me when I called mmm a ponzi scheme
What is Bitcoin? Can you hold it? Does it have an intrinsic value?
If everybody decides to pull their money, who guarantees the payouts?
At least currency is a legal tender, bitcoin is dependent on people's believe and fomo
Last last una go wail, the only thing special about cryptocurrency is blockchain I kind of agree with you in a way. This whole crypto asset is looking like a 'bubble and bust' situation. People keep buying and buying which leads to higher prices of crypto assets, one day it will crash. I rather keep investing in all these piggvest agric schemes at least, you know your money is insured. |

festacman: This is, increasingly, becoming a big problem especially among Nigerian teenagers.
However, I am specially concerned about its being widespread up North where the selfish ELITES encourage the poor men with subsistence living to marry multiple wives and adopt unrestricted spousal coitus as opium. The consequence is breeding more children far more than the resources they have. These grew into young adults with zero skillset to survive, which makes them turn to hard drugs to escape their reality of helplessness and some eventually join bandits.
Meanwhile, good day slawormir. Are you in the number? Damn Niggar, meeeeeen! We have a growing population that is unskilled and highly deficient leading to high intake of opoids. We need a depopulation strategy otherwise, we'll perpetually be the poverty capital of the world |

nextstep: And all the railroads, train stations, roads, airport rehabilitations, etc, that were started during GEJ's time were paid with what? Play money? The contractors brought out billions of their own money to build Asaba airport, bah? All the concrete being poured for the Abuja rail prior to 2015 were paid for with promises?
The projects Buhari is working on are mostly based on future money (e.g. loans), that have not been earned yet. By the time inflation kicks in when these loans need to be serviced, we'd be in that horrible situation in 90s when we paid more in interest than we could spend on schools. And now, our VP is proposing we spend money on an industry that will have very few customers by the time we're done (the world is moving away from oil)
There was massive stealing during GEJ's time, I don't dispute that. From all indications, I'm not sure the stealing has reduced... I'm not sure... Why are you replying that fool. We undertook more reforms in the GEJ administration than this confused administration that doesn't even know where Nigeria is headed to. Prices of good and services have skyrocketed to levels never witnessed before in history and they stupidly want us to agree that Buhari has 'done more with less' narrative |

Wise women marry wisely because life largely depends on our choices of life partner.
Why marry someone whose blood is adulterated with agbo and jedi when you can marry the one whose blood is refined with veggies, ukwa and akidi?
Igbo husbands make the happiest wives...if you doubt me, ask Lola Omotayo. That glow is unmistakable. you are truly suffering from a medical condition |

Programming › Re: What Are The Benefits/effects Of Facebook And Whatsapp Synchronisation? by winterfell007(m): 12:17am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Samtobh: This synchronisation is mainly concerned with business messaging. So in practice, there's no change in what data is shared with Facebook for non-business chats and account information.
Facebook is going to give businesses the option to use Facebook’s secure hosting infrastructure to host WhatsApp chats if they don’t wish to store the messages over their own systems.
When you sync as a business account, ads are delivered via both platforms to users which in turn leads to more revenue for Mark and his cohorts; also your business as it becomes more exposed and impacts on your sales and continual usage of their and platforms, all things being equal.

Aconomist: Anyone who understands the economy of Nigeria will know that the coastal rail has a bigger impact. Simply look at the GDP per capita map of Nigeria. The East is a bigger import/export market then the North -- full stop.
You are clearly a northerner who refuses to accept reason because of your biases. It's very evident to the blind that Lagos to Calabar railway will be more viable and economical, i guess that's where the Chinese are delaying in funding the project. This government has politized the whole thing. The Abuja-Kaduna railway is looking unviable because of the banditry ongoing along that routes, just look at the money we wasted building that almost failed project Now the AKK Gas project is another political project that is bound to fail.
