Yes, you can use the student copy of the transcript provided it is signed by the university authority and has a stamp on it.

secondly concerning the issue of payment of tuition, what is the best option i can use to pay because of this dollar issue is biting so hard in Nigeria.

You can pay via EMU online payment if your bank allows it to be used online and if the card does not have a limit on the amount to pay.

Online payment or direct transfer to the University is the preferable means to pay. This way if you have issues with your payment, you can easily contact the school or institutes a legal action. You may send the money via Western Union/money gram to your friend, but if the money disappears, kindly be ready to cry very well as you may receive stories that ripple the HEART. Am not saying your friends can't be trusted oooo...am just saying whatever decision you like to take. Do it as it pleases you.

u once told me that I must pay at least 2100usd for the school to issue the admission letter which is around 400k plus then now is going to 700k

I did not know the exact date I mentioned that you would need to pay 2100USD to EMU as an incoming master student, could be 3 years ago. Anyway, life and things change on an hourly basis. Kindly check the current minimum pay for a prospective master student at the time you wish to resume. Currently, 2700 USD is requested by EMU to get your details to the embassy.

You need to get the transcript until August 28th which will be the last day of applying for master program. In most cases, you may apply with signed student copy of ur transcript pending when you can secure the official copies.

September 2017. It's gonna be unwise decision since u will pay for accommodation and eat food from March till Sept. Accommodation and living expenses are high here as compared to Nigeria so u either spend those period in Nigeria. Unless during this period you find some jobs to do to support the expenses or register for other trainings to compensate for lost of time. In some cases, u may find an instructor willing to open a course for you to take but add/drop ends in March making it risky.

You can be admitted into EMU for Spring (Feb. 2017) entry if you make the application from September 2016. However, you will be placed on a leave of absence if you resume beyond March 6th, 2017. Meaning, you will not be able to register for courses in Spring if your arrival date exceeds March 6.

My Bro went to get his national id card .. only to find out that the address no does not tally with that on the application from ... 34 on the app form .. 30 on the slip ... does it matter though both places belong to us .. we have 34 on our nepa bill but na 30 dey the front of the house .. so because of the nepa bill we use 34 most of the time ..

This should not bring an issue. He can explain both addresses belong to him in case he is being asked.

Studying in Cyprus will require you to have direct or guaranteed access to tuition fees, maintenance and living expenses. The chances of you being awarded 100% for master studies here is slim for now unless you apply to each university with outstanding credentials convincing enough to warrant that. However, you can contact via email/telephone each University to seek for a scholarship or wait till exchange rate coincides with your savings.

It does not matter if the traveler will not exceed the actual date on the insurance. If the form has not been submitted it can also be edited.

No, you will need a transcript before your application can be evaluated. So wait for the transcript!

31 years old applicant can be admitted to Master programs.

It's a disaster...got 4 friends currently affected ( at professor level). My graduate student defense was on 19th July, one of the jury members got to airport to fly down to the island but was blocked and told his university is under purge....we had to exchange with a local jury member. End of this month will determine if it gonna affect us as per certain percentage of the salaries come from mainland. For now we are good!

No the Business Admin department won't waive the GMAT requirement for you if you applied for PhD in that field.

Then you will tell them is not ready. If you have applied for the card, then you may show them proof of application.

Please, I don't get the reference letter part.

I have already printed my bank statements.

Please advice

Return to your bank to ask for a reference letter. The banks know that!..it sometimes state how long you have been operating the said account and sometime the opening and balance amounts are stated on it. Each bank as its own unique style!

There is no particular period or days for admission to be offered. All applicants need to pass through various evaluation stages before the final decision is made. METU is nearly the most highly ranked university in Turkey, equipped with modern facilities and endowed with top-notch faculty members. The admission process in METU is highly strict and based on applicant's grade. Only brilliant and academically sound applicants are admitted.

ething about high school cumulative point average what does that mean and also how many days does it take to get there acceptance letter out.

You will need to get your high school transcript showing an aggregate of your grades in form of a cumulative grading system. Example, most high schools here, indicates that the student passed with 75%/100 at the end of the high school...so get something like that. And the grading criteria should be stated on your transcript.

I will advise you contact financial houses like banks, family members, Nigerian politicians, educational trust funds or lotto offices for sponsorship....however, there are no jobs in Cyprus for you to pay them back.

Did you upload the documents requested in stage 5? If yes go ahead and book appointments. Then you can download the submitted form online and take it along to embassy with original copies of preloaded documents. You will find the download button for the form after you submitted.

I'm undecided about staying with them. So I am probably trying to see if I can stand by any decision I decide to make.

Alright. As a prospective master student, you will not have lectures all days of the week. If you choose to enrol in just 3 courses per semester, there are chances you will only take classes 2-3 times per week. Hence, you may commute 1 hr prior to your lecture. Here in EMU, 95% of graduate programs end 5-6pm. Some classes are scheduled for morn period or mid-day period. Thus, you won't have issues. However, it may be stressful in the beginning, but you will get used to it as time passes.

During my post-doctoral Turkish-sponsored project, for months, I was flying to-fro three times per week Cyprus-Turkey. Mostly arrive Turkey around 8 am and return to Cyprus 4 pm....got used to it after just the first week.
Equally, I know a PhD student then at EMU that lectures in Turkey and still takes his courses at EMU, he did that for more than a year.

1. You can't download Turkish online pre-visa form. It meant to be filled online....So fill it online.

2. There are options there so choose the one that fits your scenario...host, yourself etc!

EMU FALL 2016, FIRST BATCH SENT TO EMBASSY

For all applicants that have received confirmation of payment from EMU before July 1st, the details have been sent to embassy. Do allow a week for the embassy to receive and sort the record

For appointment you have to choose your date depending on time of application. Meaning, after you have submitted the form, dates and time slots will appear and you can choose.

Yes you should upload those documents. You can upload both telex and confirmation of payment that will be sent by the university after the money is received. Take copies to the embassy. If you make payment to the university, your details will be sent to embassy...so no worries!

About visa: I can't point to which country visa is easier to get or not. What I do know is that visa issuance to a person depends on the applicant, purpose of trip and sometime pre-conceived information about the applicant nationality. Specifically, Turkish educational visa procedure is similar to any other visa types you apply in Turkish embassy while Russian educational visa works based on state approved invitation procedure.


About best school: in practical term, there is nothing like best school. You can talk about quality of education you will be receiving interms of facilities, status of the instructors, number of equipments, practical skills students gain during their studies, number of expert and field or concerted area of research and finance for research and research output etc. those are the metrics that are used to measure the quality and ranking of institutions. For instance if you wish to study anything related to nuclear engineering, Russia will be the most suitable country due to their expertise, facilities and technical knowledge in this field. Likewise if you prefer to study palm oil technology, you should choose Malaysia.
In summary, choose based on the above matrices. What you need is serene environment, institutions with facilities, modern and innovative research areas and highly qualified instructors be it young or old institutions.

Biometric photo: Digital photo that can be stuck electronically to your visa page. Just tell those photographers you need a biometric photo for visa purpose..nothing special and same fees.
