onile1975:The visa fees is stated on Turkish embassy kindly check it in Naira. Embassy is in charge of processing days, and you can make inquiries about that also by calling the embassy or email them. onile1975:Am confused about your case. Are you applying for a student visa or tourist Visa? Kindly take note, the procedures I have given above is for applicants applying for student visa. If you want to apply for e-visa you have to use another weblink which specifies e-visa! Turkish e-visa allowed travellers having Schengen, UK, USA and OECD countries valid visa or residence permit to be admitted into Turkey. However, visas from lots of the OECD countries like Mexico are easy to obtain, and many people have used that to gain entry into Turkey. So Turkey does not recognise visas from OECD again. So your Mexico visa won't allow you to enter Turkey. |
onile1975:Then you have internet issue probably |
Dream2:If you are travelling to North Cyprus no specific BTA at Turkey or North Cyprus airports...If your destination is south Cyprus, you will need at least 1500 euro to show the immigration officials at the point of landing. However, some of those corrupt cretins at Nigerian airports may request you to show some amount ...so show them whatever you have. Let them know you are a student and just have a fistful of cash that specifies you can take care of yourself during the first months or period in the island. If your final destination is not Cyprus..you have to check the requirement of the concerned country. Personally: I have visited over 67 countries, I have not been asked for once for BTA, most times they only ask if I have return tickets and when am returning to my country or residence. |
onile1975:Click Pre-visa application. The first stage was attached to you in my last message which is the nationality and visa details. I will advise you fill the form using a computer, not a mobile phone. Follow the other steps as highlighted above. You can ONLY save and proceed at stage 4 but not submit. Go down more in stage 4, there are more questions including if you have been denied visa before, or you have criminal pasts, etc. Scroll DOWN |
onile1975:The main reason might be due to the fact that you had missed inserting a mandatory information/tick during the stages. Hence, you will not proceed until you carefully check and answer all questions in each stage. It's not related to the web browser you used. Also, you cannot submit the pre-visa application at stage 4, you have to reach stage 5 after which you can book visa appointment. Seems you are filling the wrong form. The pre-visa procedures are 5 stages. You must fill all questions marked with asterisks, if not you won't be able to make an appointment. Attached are the steps and see the first one you must fill... I just filled the online form now...it took me 5 mins and ensure you have electronic copies of the REQUIRED documents in JPEG. Don't rush, open your eyes and fill with ease. Those red marks are called asterisks. Best wishes.

Professor554:The bank will tell you when the telex will be ready. Kindly ask your bank cos rate of processing of such form differs from one bank to another. |
jaybros:If you don't have the tuition fees, accommodations and living expenses complete before you leave your country and you also don't have stable sponsor to fund these expenses at the required time, either wait till you have complete or try another country that fit your budget. If cyprus is your sole destination, then search all other universities that fit your budget. Remember jobs are scarce here! |
Ayomide94:You applied to EUL, got admitted and they sent you offer letter....You refuse to ask EUL question or read the offer letter on steps to take after payment...instead you came to Nairaland to ask..... ![]() Its funny dont you think so? Such questions should be directed to the admission office of the university that you applied to not to an African forum. The staffs of that university do not have special thread or office on NL. I have seen almost all admission letter issued by most universities in Cyprus, I am sure steps, direction and contact details are written on the offer letter....have you followed or read that yet? If you are unclear, call the university registrar, international or admission units to ask your question. |
slawali:The visa that will be issued to you will definitely be a fake one...if you bought a visa on the street.Visas are issued at the embassy after the applicant satisfy the consular...That person you gave your documents and money to is not an embassy. Embassy means an office with a consular not a person. Cyprus is two different countries (north and south). Now let me tell you current scenario due to BREXIT. Today today I was in the South Cyprus, I drove an invited professor to catch up his flight to the UK. What I noticed at the B wing departure and A entry wing is that new scanning machine for visa has been erected there. I asked the mum of my friend that works there she said its for digital verification that will be able to have direct electronic information on which embassy that issued the visa, location and share with other EU. If you are caught, before you are been deported you will spend weeks in Jail. Also, if the visa is north Cyprus...you wont last due to recent rehualing by Turkish embassy. Finally, if you manage to enter either of the Island country, you will be stuck cos they have only one entry and next exist is Mediterranean sea. |
heaven4me:Good day, I don't live in Africa currently. I have only visited the Eastern African countries on promotional and touristic trips.....so technically and professionally am not the right person to give you answers since 30days is not enough to make me a resident of that country.....I can only comment for intending tourists..!!! If you will like to know more, visit the country to spend like 6 months or do more searches online, visit each country investment websites, email or call the governmental officials to link you with resident of any of those countries in Eastern Africa. Best wishes! |

Anaeks:They import lots of processed food..so you can process the food, they have all sorts of fruits you can process into juice, and their real estate is booming...they love and eat Sombe soup (made from cassava leaf) all time, so you can process and package that. Their govt giving incentives if you export IT related services and invest in their IT hubs....There is a Nigerian that owns a coffee outlet their and recently opened like10 stores in Lagos as well. For me, my interest is on the coffee, event place, real estate and bakery...I started the coffee anyway!! Due to high construction related jobs....bricks and paving blocks will be a great business...In fact, there is province I visited {Musanze} almost all houses were constructed with red bricks I learnt were mostly imported from Congo. You can visit and spend time there to understand more...one very positive thing about business there is that registration of business is very fast, and those govt office that will process the docs are non-corrupt. Also, read more online on Rwanda Development board..the guys are ready to assist. I will be visiting in this summer with five groups of European (about 60 in number) for Tourism....likely to spend weeks or month...if u are coming drop ur msg here...we may meet! ....Rwanda Govt will jail for life drug peddlers, yahoo yahoo and scam-related activities perpetrated by foreigners without hesitation. So you should do business that is not related to those. Best wishes.... |
heaven4me:About visa and business ...you will find valuable information on each country embassy website. Visit the embassy websites and you can easily email the embassy as well for steps and procedure to apply for visa. You can also visit the embassy in person to ask information. About which women is more beautiful....you will need to also find out when you visit these countries ....beauty is in the eyes of beholder... Best wishes in your trip! |
layzie86:Ahhh they were helping you to hide it so that other embassy wont see it... thats why they stamped last page...some will stamp your face self twice . Actually visa can also be placed anywhere the embassy like....I remembered Japanese embassy also fix my visa on my last page even though I had plenty unused pages before that. Anyway, Just relax and get prepare for next visa application (6 months time), meaning you have to renew your admission letter and be sure you get the reason for denial..so you can prepare well. Also be sure you are applying when your name has been sent to embassy and double check from the university. Best wishes. |
maxpaine:Yes you are on point. You can fill the Turkish visa online now....anyway no need to rush since you can now book appointment as you want. Best wishes |
heaven4me:Actually, my visit to these countries was just a touristic trips. I have not been to Africa for ages so I was looking to enjoy African beauty. My initial plan was to visit Cape Verde, Seychelles and Angola for a total of 30 days. Anyway, I ended visiting 5 of those eastern African. Kenya has a big market for business and lot of Indian live there, Uganda is cheapest based on the few days I spent there but Uganda is very dirty and major shops are also own by Indian. Rwanda is landlocked region, population is low, not everybody speak English but if you speak French you will enjoy, they have beautiful women, I think they have the tallest people in the world or Africa (Tutsi tribes), the neatest but more expensive to live compared with Uganda and Tanzania ...they have more Chinese compared to Indian. There are few Nigerian in Rwanda. One can open a business and get the documents within 2-3 days in Rwanda, I did that as I now buy coffee from there to supply to coffee outlets here. In Tanzania, I spend most of my days in hotel, beach, mountain climbing and viewing some beautiful women with clean natural color (not bleaching). I wish I can upload some of these pics here... I will be visiting these places shortly again. But left for me I will choose to live in Rwanda compared to those cos of safety, IT hubs, and ease of starting a business. However, as I mentioned earlier my trips are touristic in nature and cannot be used as a YES or NO....for you to relocate to any country, It will be nice if you visit and spend 3-6 months then you can decide if its right place or not. The visa are easy and can be obtained. But please anywhere you go, be honest, dont bring Nigeria name down and dont bring shame to yourself and Nigeria. Best wishes! |
jeron1:You can visit the embassy page of the concerned country the procedure to apply is there, can be applied online and delivered on arrival. I got mine on arrival. With Eastern African visa you can enter all those which saves you money. If you choose to enter them individually, the cheapest is Rwanda (30USD) and Uganda is 100usd but the visa looks beautiful ....its cheaper to enjoy Safaris in Tanzania if you fly from Kigali to Arusha in Tanzania. |
2wizkids: jeron1:I will recommend you apply for EAST AFRICAN TOURIST VISA (It covers Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda). It cost just 100USD and easy to obtain. Rwanda is a lovely and clean country. Less crime, people are easy to approach, and they have lovely food with a touch of French cuisines. In my last vacation which am planning to repeat so soon. I visited Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Congo. Kenya is more developed when compared to others, but I enjoyed Rwanda most. My journey started from Turkey direct to Kenya via emirate, spent 4 days in Kenya, flew to Uganda via Kenya Airway cost 90USD. Spent 11 days in Uganda (here, they love goat meat like anything and fufu)..lodged at Munyonyo Speke Resort (its amazing place). Then flew to Rwanda via Rwanda Air cost 105USD just around 50 mins. The airport is super clean and small. The immigration at Kigali Airport is over friendly and lots of Tourist from France and other European countries. Rented a clean 3-star hotel for 50USD per night at Kigali city centre, went for gorilla trekking and visited lots of tourist places.....then rent a car to Lake Kivu...from Lake Kivu entered cheap boat/ship to Congo. In all, I spent 30 days exploring Rwanda and 10 days in Tanzania. |
Theophinio:Sir, With due respect...I suspect same scammer cos that is his pattern. Based on that guy that was defrauded, I asked how he was so sure this person his real. He said he checked his Facebook and saw many pics of football related and also sent him invitation letter to play in Turkey. Even this victim was already here in Cyprus he was defrauded. No let get to business. Currently the cheapest return ticket Nigeria-Cyprus based on exchange rate will be approximately 300-500K Naira. 1. Legally, he cant apply for visa for you. 2. Turkish embassy does not operate agency for visa currently. 3. All applicants must apply for visa themselves by providing the requested documents and pay the visa fees which is less than 20k Naira. 4. To apply for a visa related to football or work, you will need an invitation. For the visa to be approved, the issuance of corporate invitation letter must be recognized by Cyprus Government which will in turn inform Turkish embassy when the organization info is requested. Meaning, the organization must have a website, address and telephone number. 5. Anybody can send you fake or cloned invitation letters, then you have to visit the website make some search and see if you can contact the main personnel if they are not compromised. 6. To save yourself, ask the question, how does he intend to get you visa? why would he wants to help you buy fight ticket? Don't you know ticket shops? tell him he can get you visa it cost less than 20k (note point 3) and you will buy the flight yourself. Serbia....are you kidding me? Stop stop pls....I love Serbia for its cheapness and for those that drink alcohol after Germany, UK...Serbia should be the next one. I have visited Serbia more than 5 times basically for scientific research, the visas is easy to obtain provided you have invitation but their situation is worst. The citizens are so looking for visas to Europe and America..they have one of the lowest wages around that region. Its cheap place for tourism....I have not heard Serbia have great football teams. Best wishes in whatever path you have chosen! |
Theophinio:The same story that other guy said....until he was duped, the victim was in my office few yrs back, no matter how much I tried to convince him he was blind folded with day-dreams. Am suspecting is the same con-man. Does this deal involve you to pay for anything apart from your flight ? If you trust him go ahead and after you arrive Cyprus for the trial please give us update here. If you are duped like that other guy..also update us... Best wishes! |
Theophinio:What I know is that there are lots of fake agents, scammers and fraudulent people sometimes mostly African defrauding unknown victims in this football thing in Cyprus and in Turkey. I have known a person on this thread that was defrauded almost half a Million naira even though I told him the offer is strange and sounds scam-like, he fell for it. Anyway, Cyprus does not have a big football team and those small team in Cyprus as far as I know pay something low. Also, lots of Africans are here with football skills so I wonder why you wil be invited for trial from abroad unless you are JJ Okocha. Anyway that's just my own view. There could be a trial I know nothing about that. But a trial that will want you to pay them ..u need to be more careful. Best wishes! |
adesbaba:You can surely be admitted but most university will put you on leave of absence if you resume after add and drop period. This year April, we were giving mid exams to the students so there is no way a new student can be registered when mid-exam is ongoing. Possibly in 2017 same thing will mostly be happening. So the chances that you will be registered is 35% in April. |
layzie86:Do you remember this conversation? Your resumption date is strange... You have been rejected for a visa and you will wait for next 6 months.
|
maxpaine:Visit the Turkish embassy website, the required documents to attest and visa procedure are stated there. |
jc2xl:All the university here has the fees and scholarship details on their website. Kindly visit the website of the university you wish to study and scroll to the fees and scholarship section. |
taiwo92:For new students registering for the first time, there is no installment payment plan. Also, graduate students are not eligible for installment plan for now. You will need to deposit atleast 2100usd into the university bank account before you can be issue visa. The rest of the fees can be paid as the semesters unfold based on number of courses you take. You will be awarded 50# scholarship according to ur result. |
taiwo92:Good day sir/madam, I dont give out my phone number and I dont answer phone calls of number not saved on my phone. If the questions are related to academic, studies and living in Cyprus pls post it here so others can learn. If for admission..my email is in my signature. Thanks for understanding! |
Arrihinius:Received |
Damsonkc:Yes send : transcript , statement of result , international passport page all to my email. Find ye email in my signature (skull...) |
ovusbaby:No no no dont listen to your agent oooo...I only advise all prospective students to have adequate fund to pay the tuition and accommodation throughout their program. The common and easily accessed jobs in South Cyprus are hotel and restaurant for ladies. As a student, you have a limitation of time to work legally in south Cyprus. The laws in south for student working is slightly different from those of north Cyprus. The money you earn from these jobs may cover daily or weekly living expense or most cases pay your accommodation but may not be able to cover your tuition fees and accommodation both. It will be great if you have at least tuition and accommodation fees for 2-3yrs and if you are lucky to find job then you can save towards the last year than for you to struggle and become depress from second year. Kindly note: jobs are not easy to find, living expenses is high and combining Nursing and energy-dependent job is not easy. Am not saying you should not come South Cyprus oooooo but am telling you the RAW truth based on below facts: 1. I have access to both south and North Cyprus. I live in the north and visit south anytime I want (note: only people from north with right documents or certain nationality can access south for now from north) 2. I studied in North 3. Am Asst. Professor working in the North 4. I deal with student recruitment, listen to students stories, and have practical knowledge of both countries. Worked with the international and registration office of universities here (this exposed me further to complains and illicit trade of these agents) The ball is in your court ...play well ONLY....must of these agents are just out there to milk unaware students, lots of them are less educated, lied to prospective students, most of them believe in miracles. Best wishes! |
