Sir wip.
Gooday, i also checked my visa form and i realised i miss filled the proposed travel date. I have submitted and i will have to reapply again.
My question is it the acceptance letter am to upload or the document for transfer of money in the second document we are asked to upload.
Secondly there is no place to upload insurance certificate. Only the valid date was asked and the date is in turkish language
1. Put your acceptance/confirmation letters and telex in one Pdf and upload that

2. Yes choose the validity of the date of your insurance, you shall submit a copy to them at the embassy. Turkish calendar is attached for ref sake. Follow that.

NEW TURKISH VISA APPOINTMENT ONLINE/VISA FORM

It's not new anymore that Turkish embassy has introduced more flexible and straight forward appointment and visa application online. The advantages of this new online system are numerous and particularly, it will deter those agents from selling appointment dates, and the appointment date is obtained as soon as you submit the form online.

However, over 50 applicants have filled this form wrongly (data from inquirers), or some have allowed their agents to fill the form for them. The agents some are less educated nor experience, have filled these forms wrongly and hence, resulted in a visa denial. Based, on the data I have received from inquirers, about 25 applicants have been rejected stemming from mismatched details and fake documents.

Henceforth, I will suggest the applicants to read the procedure online perfectly before filling, should ask questions before submitting. In my own capacity, I have asked my university to have a word with the local authority to at least show filled sample online. But they have claimed most embassies don't have samples as well. But they may still yield to that.

Last note: If your agent must fill this form fo you, pls go through it well before he/she submit the form....Its a must!

Thanks so much Mr wip7,you ve really been a great help to people over here,i really appreciate. The woman that I am actually working with on this is in cyprus, alina khajaj.and she have been the one telling me how to forward the necessary payments I ve made so far,i am actually ready to make their remaining transaction but she said I should wait,i ve already sent like 175k naira for my documentation and other things listed in the admission list,it was just like last 2 weeks that they asked for 141euro for visa application and one fee like that totally 141,and I asked if I could forward my school fee and she said no.so am just scared hope they are gonna grant me visa, wondering y it has taken this long.also Mr Wip7,thanks for the flight stuff which you also hinted.i app alot.
Relax, you will be granted a visa. As soon as you are evaluated and all documents you submitted are okay..... Please, don't pay tuition fees into the agent bank account. Kindly pay directly into the university account no matter what the agent tells you.

Best wishes!

Still on the e-visa stuff: Can I use the upcoming graduation as the purpose of visiting TRNC?...together with a Turkish airlines return ticket. I wouldn't be able to pay the PhD part payment (before traveling) due to some financial constraints. But wisdom demands that I should use my UK visa before it expires. Please, is this idea okay?
Yes its okay.

Good evening all, please I applied for an MSc in oil,gas and energy engineering for feb2016 session in the University of nicosia, and the session is suppose to start by 1st of Feb 2016.i have received my admission letter and have made some payment like the visa and applications fee of 84 & 55 euro, but the promised the visa was gonna be out before 24th of january, pls I will like to find out if there is anyone in the same position as I am.thanks
Actually, the starting date for the session is Feb 1st. However, the classes will not be starting the same day, and there are permitted days for late comers.

Kindly note that the University only give tentative dates on when they will receive the visa, but they are not the one issuing the visa. I was at Nicosia this morn and in fact, my three students admitted to Fredrick University were told the visa will be ready 6th of Jan, but they finally got the visa on 18th.

The visa processing days depends on various factors including volume of applicants, verification of documents, etc. So soon the university will inform you of the outcome, and you can get your ticket money and others ready.....so relax.

To be admitted into EMU PhD programs, all applicants must supply their bachelor and master transcripts for evaluation. Based on your undergraduate degree in chemistry, at EMU the chances for PhD admission is low or you will have plenty foundation courses to do before you register the PhD program.

Apply and let see how to goes

Yes documents will be uploaded irrespective of the visa types.

Example for my friend visiting from Seychelles, I uploaded official invitation letter for them, the hotel, insurance and flight info. After these were uploaded, the appointment issued. Making it faster

For students,

Those coming for studies will need to upload the following

1 Biometric Photo
2 Authorisation by Parents /Custodians (under 18 yrs of age)
3 Student Certificate /Acceptance Letter
4 Equivalence Statement
5 Income Statement / Sponsorship Letter
6. Insurance if you choose it

My question is on my sponsor's bank statement. My sporsor's bank statement is very good in terms of cash flow it is 29 pages showing transaction. the opening balance is arround 3.5 mil but as at dec 31 the closing balance is 530,000. Is Turkish embassy concerned with the closing balance Thanks
Practically closing balance means a lot but logically since you have paid your complete 1-year fees, the sponsor account has regular in-flow as stated by you and those cash flows are good enough in those previous months. Then, technically you can be issued a visa.

Take note: "This statement above is personal and emanated from data gathered from local embassy officials here-students, while working in the international center of the university but may not be universally true"....!

I have being on this new application for visa since yesterday. As at yesterday the site was down and today i can not move beyound stage three. I want to ask if it is important to get health insurance during the application cos there is a place where it was asked if i presently hav health insurance but there is room to click on no
I am begining to have the feeling of losing pants of blood due to this stress.
Pls what help and advice can u give
Actually the online platform is very easy to complete. It took me just 10 mins to finish complete that. I completed it for my friends visiting me from Seychelles just 2days ago. As par the health insurance, it's stated on number 3 page that is necessary. So kindly purchase 1-3 days insurance and upload it.

penroll55:
The online appointment platform is a new development which just begin January this year, so there is little knowledge about it for now.
For you to help others as we are helping you, if u finally figure it out you done with the appointment please do drop your process and necessary requirements to get ready at hand during application so others can learn.
The online platform is straight forward and I think it will really assist in the appointment date issuance cos it seems faster now and it will prevent lobbying or bribing at the embassy.
All necessary steps are shown and given online. Anybody that can fill Jamb form will do this much easier.

I haven't paid the tuition fee stated on the offer. Yes...it expired in September.
Okay.. On what other ground do you think I can use? I'm trying to avoid the Turkish embassy stress and also to meet up with the spring semester..
Since you are coming to study, you are expected to pay your fees before you come and get your confirmation letter...this will give you more leverage.....however;

The advice I can give is that you can pay at least registration of 1-2 courses/full fees stated and get the payment slip with you on your way (clear copy) and your admission letter. Also, ensure you fly Turkish airline directly to the Island.

At departure at Istanbul, you may be asked for a valid resident permit before been checked in. Kindly with gentleman's voice explain that you paid so so and this your offer letter but due to so so so you have to come very fast so you could not get the visa straight down, so since you have paid then you can renew your resident on arrival at TRNC.

Above may work for you also at TRNC POE. The Immigration there has been equipped to have access to all the school admission and registration database to verify certain student/payment.

Best wishes!

Mr Wip and my other boss
I have this question on bank statement of sponsor though the lawyer said it was okay before notarizing the sponsorship letter.
The bank statement is made up of 29 pages that shows the transactions of my sponsor for (sept to decemb ) but the opening balance was 3.5 for september and the closing balance was 512,000. And now that my appointment was cancelled, there is d possibility that my next appointment will be febuary so i removed a month from the bank statement and i realise the opening balance to be arround 2.5mil. Is it okay because i begin to panic for the closing balance which is in thousands and the opening balance or what do the consolar check on the bank statement.
Thanks
Embassy wants to see the regular flow in your bank account and in most cases wants to know if your sponsor has the ability to get through based on your tuition and hostel fees. They can trace and see what comes in and goes out, hence, that can be used to determine the strength of the sponsor. While some are particular about the balance also at the time of application.

My question now is; most bank statement I know or have seen do have a page number. So if you remove one-page won't that page be missing? How do they do bank statement in Nigeria? is it number-less?

Hello house,

Please, can I visit north Cyprus using an e-visa?
I have a multiple entry UK visa that will expire by mid-february. I'm planning to travel by first week of February. I've also spent 1.5 years in North Cyprus as a student before. Please, how do I go about it?
Whats the purpose of the visit? You may visit based on the profile you mentioned, however, if no tangle reason or purpose with supporting evidence, then you may not be allowed. The e-visa is basically for Turkey not for TRNC. However, it has been used to enter here based on what those people involved presented.

Two scenarios for you:

1. The first person I know is a second-year student that has 10yrs UK visa but his TRNC residence permit expired...so he presented...

2. The second person, did his masters, Ph.D. and even worked for 1 year before he left for Job in Qatar. The airline from Istanbul refused to fly him down to TRNC. So he applied for the e-visa with his US visa and presented hotel and others so they flew him....

This is exactly what they said. Help in interpreting this statement to what the embassy needs, will 1 week still be useful

All applicant are to provide medical insurance throughout their stay in turkey
Since you are gonna stay just 1 day in Turkey even 1-3 days insurance is okay. Your destination is not Turkey but TRNC so you will be transiting ONLY.

Hi,
Sorry for that, Turkey recently changed their visa application procedure. For medical insurance, it's easy and same has "traveling health insurance". There are many insurance company offering in Nigeria (Abuja or Lagos) this insurance e.g Leadway Assurance company, Zenith Insurance etc. Just get for 1 week alone unless a specified period given.

It's not possible for you to transfer with NIIT and do just one year, the least you can do is one and half years and that depends on the number of course that will be exempted for you and how well you do in those courses, also,NIIT transcript still not fully accepted unlike aptech because lot of student from NIIT have issues and most times they only remove just one year for them(meaning they have 3 more years to go).

For your age,EMU have maximum age restriction for undergraduate as 25 but you can apply and if accepted then you have to prepare a strong reason to give the embassy why you going for undergraduate now at that age which I believe you should be able to get from your little writeup.
Aside EMU, some other schools like CIU might accept you despite your age but the issue then will be embassy.
Correct!

Hello Team,

What is the process for departure after completion of study? I have a relative that is currently bogged down after completion of studies.

Waiting for your replies.
There is/are no special procedure/s to depart the island after graduation. Main things graduate do is to ensure they are not owing the university. After or before graduation, all prospective graduates will be served clearance form (the form has information about accommodation, library and fees). As soon as the students get all necessary signatures, such student will get his/her diploma/certificate on graduation date and proceed to the Turkish embassy and ministry of education to get the transcripts/diploma attested.

grin grin A student can only be bogged down if such student is owing the university, lost some books borrowed from the library, on the wanted list for fraudulent activities or decide to bog him/herself down by enjoying the cool breeze of the island!
