fondy:Yes.....name on list does not matter that you must be granted visa. Embassy and Universities are two different entities. Embassy job is to approve whom ever they want in the country based on documents presented by the applicant, psychological assumption and techno-physical assessment by the visa officer. However, one of the criteria for assessing applicants at Turkish embassy when it is related to university visa application is details sent by the university to the embassy but is not the determining factor to grant visa. Each country/embassy adopts varying assessment methods. In fact, assessment of applicants going to South Cyprus differs from those going to North Cyprus. South was more complicated around 2000-2013 while Northern part was more like cake...however, the table has turned in reverse manner or turning to say! |
Itstyme:Yes, they have issued for two of my students going American college. They were late for last entry anyway!. Also there has been some delays from the migration department recently. When did they submit your stuff and did you get in touch with the univ? Actually they extended the admission time cos is normal they do this if less students have been admitted so that brushed out the delays and some other stuffs. |
brainyemeritus:Thanks am doing pretty good!...Yes she can be exempted from related courses and her years will be reduced. She will be able to follow the Nursing program in English in either British University of Nicosia or Near east Uni. Yes when the time reached, kindly let me know towards Nov-Dec, I can apply for her....also she may check the universities and learn more. At EMU, nursing is offered in Turkish Language while those mentioned above follow it via English. |
Princessgatt:Ohhh sorry for that. Yeah you have to be 18+ for u to access Turkish e-visa. Its always advisable to make just reservation rather than booked the flight when the visa has not been concluded. So before you book again ensure your visa has been granted. One way for you is to travel to Turkey with your UK visa and on arrival you can just walk into the visa office within the arrival unit of Istanbul and then you can be granted entry visa as well..(VISA ON ARRIVAL)....VERY VALID WAY, CONFIRMED BY ME. ( my youngest brother visiting me had similar challenge; in his case, his luggage was checked in and he needs visa to pick it but he was denied e-visa cos of age also, he walked straight to the visa unit with his Canadian student permit and was granted entrance visa while I was waiting for him in the main Airport to travel down to beautiful TRNC together. You may do this as well.... OR You can cancel your flight and get refund especially before the travel date if the class of ticket you purchased is refundable or you can simply speak with Turkish airline to reissue the ticket based on your new date. Do you purchase your ticket online or via an agent? Online is quite so easy to do this and may not incur additional charges. If you follow this route, then you must wait for your visa to be granted by Turkish embassy Abuja before you book again. |
Princessgatt:Yes you can apply for the e-visa to come over cos is easier and cheaper alternative. However, ensure you either travel on Turkish airline directly from your base to North Cyprus or you connect with Pegasus at Turkey down to TRNC so as to avoid stories that touches the heart. |
tochielucas:Your details have been sent to embassy today with confirmation number....807-9764....towards end of next week, it must have been received in Abuja. |
tochielucas:If you have made full payment as you said, your details must have gone to embassy since July batch sent. However, I have checked all the 4 batches sent upto Sept 4th 2015 to Turkish embassy I cant find your name. So if you have your confirmation letter send email to EMU registrar to include your details to the embassy for final list going to embassy middle of this month. |
brainyemeritus:What is your mail about ? if you want me to apply for you, yes send me the application documents. If you have some questions others can learn then post the mail here. If is private question let me know. If is about application you have already applied for, then contact the registrar! |
shegxxymyth11:He should follow the rule of thumb. |
davidgreener:whats in my box ooo..i cant see anything |
shegxxymyth11:This your friend must be very stubborn oooooooo and does not like to follow rule of thumb....Anyway there is no help I can render as I don't work with the embassy and even I do I will gladly punish him for abusing stated rule/procedure. Back to the real thing: 1. The Turkish embassy does not care about your email address (its just for conversation sake)....they are interested in your passport number and full name 2. The person that extract such appointment requests from each email sent may be very diligent and pay attention to each details or just interested in the details to be extracted. 3. Such request may be categorized based on dates of application so as to fish or monkey out offenders like your friend. Possible outcome based on "IF": 1. If the extractor does not care, then your friend will not have issues 2. If the extracted details are not categorized based on dates, then no punishment 3. If details were extracted and they discovered your friend over-smartness but the person have good hearts, then no punishment 4. If luck is on his side, then no punishment Best wishes in what ever case! |
shegxxymyth11:Best wishes! |
fondy:After your payment is received by the said university, you should be sent another letter stating that you have paid and that serves as your payment confirmation/receipt from the university and to the embassy.....you may go with the payment confirmation from your bank also. |
shegxxymyth11: worry359: As pointed for you above, kindly follow the stated procedure of the embassy. You must apply for appointment once a month. Meaning count the days you applied for the first appointment and exactly after one month you can make another appointment...if not you will be punished by the embassy as they mentioned. Also below take note of my reply here: wip7:Best wishes! |
kcbentley:Waiting ooooo....safe trip also! |
kcbentley:Congrats boss.....help me bring Alomo bitters and Orijin when you are coming for FREE ooooo.... ![]() When you arrive, ensure you do not soil your name, country name and family name....make us proud! .....Remember....."Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." |
fondy:Always be patient..sir....... worry359:no you wont have a problem provided you resume before add and drop date, if you have been admitted into EMU or METU, the add and drop dates are written on the offer letter but if another university you may have to scroll to their website to check this date or permitted period to be registered. However most university here will start real work from October first week and I am believing that till 2nd week you should be fine except METU that is Naturally strict as no-nonsense University. National ID is formality just go since you have got international passport and you may go with your voting ID if you have enrolled for such. Best wishes! |
chriskate:Thanks a lot for your pieces of advice...it does worth it. Side talks : hmmmmm you meant when a man sleeps with a girl......the girl wont remain the same? changed to alien or what....as a researcher I love to learn more about these changes ( ). |
benji93:Depends on many metrics...sometime within 3-20 working days. So wait for the response in your email box and check spams as well. Dont forget there was no working days btwn and Yesterday. So today is the first working day after you applied. Best wishes! |
davidgreener:Okay... |
Ugochux:Good day sir, I just received your letter and I have replied you accordingly. Best wishes!! |
AEROSPACE ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL AND PETROLEUM ENGINEERING @ METU If you will like to study one of those courses in highly ranked and academically sound university..you may consider METU.
|
fondy:As soon as the University receive your cash. It may take 3-5 working days for wire transfer to be received. However, if you do not hear from the concerned University, kindly call or email their official address. |
brainyemeritus:No is not late, you can meet up if you pay in that 2weeks time you said. Possibly your name will follow the 3rd batch to embassy. Best wishes! |
daway:No fixed amount stated by the embassy......just reasonable amount that will cover more than your entire studies, living and accommodation costs. So do the maths based on that!...The entire visa processing procedure can be found on Turkish embassy website...kindly locate that and you can ask just specific question/s after you have gathered all documents and submitted the appointment request. |
