kuzee:No, admitted Nigerian students with minimum grade C in Olevel result will be exempted from English test on arrival. kuzee:The essence of the 50% scholarship is that you have been awarded 50% DISCOUNT per year. The fees quoted on your offer letter is actually 50% of the original fees per year (about 10,000USD). So with 50% you will pay about 5000USD yearly!...hope you get that? kuzee:What do you need agent to do for you? I dont know any agent pls and I wont reply if you are duped or slashed. You can google and may find the agents in those area. But if i may know the exact info or services you require, then I can guide you further or suggest alternatives! kuzee:Next step is to pay exact amount stated on your offer letter. Kindly pay ONLY into the University bank account and send me the payment slip. If you have trouble paying let me know. Read the offer letter carefully and the conditions/requirements stated within. Enjoy! |
benji93:Ensure you certify your educational documents at the ministries if they were not done before. Get your sponsor letter, bank and other documents stated on the offer letter. You may book appointment from August via email system to Turkish embassy Abuja, meanwhile ask METU Ankara if your details has been sent to embassy before you proceed to Embassy. As far as I know, details are sent in batches to Turkish embassy and mostly sent maximum 2 months before resumption. University does not send detail per student but in group. METU admission process for FALL 2015 ends by August, so they would not have sent your name now. Success thats what I wish YOU! |
Benzzle:In North Cyprus for petroleum and gas engineering program, I will suggest METU due to quality and reputation. However, your results and transcript must be great! If you have great results and ready to study...contact me with your application documents. I will get METU non-refundable application fees waived for you if you are serious. |
benji93:Yes you can apply for visa with the current acceptance letter you have. When did you apply for admission and when did you get result? Most international students application have not been evaluated....yours seems strange and too fast! Anyway you can pay towards August and book appointment with embassy. Visit Turkish embassy website for other requirements. |
Eureka123:Yeah am good! Tanks for the Ramadan msg! The ramadan arrived when I have plenty research targets hmmmm taking my mats to labs and sites..Yes yes I think I will be abroad when the ramadan will finish but I can leave your ram ooooo....infact I already booked one ram at Tuzla cos is cheaper now (300TL). |
kuzee:Hmmm I thought you are actually Chinese oooooo...as soon as I receive your application documents, I will update you on the status towards EMU. Happy Ramadan! |
kuzee:EMU and METU are two different universities. METU is the highest ranked university in Turkey with campus in North Cyprus. The University have great facilities for engineering programs and designed basically for students that want to study. Very strict in terms of academic, admission and highly equipped. This university has aligned with various industries in Turkey that allows practical training for the students. Scholarship is strictly based on academic results and enjoyed high accreditation. EMU is the highest ranked university located mainly in North Cyprus, flexible admission system, flexible scholarship and could be more social. Larger campus and well funded university with great facilities and all engineering programs accredited by ABET. So you have choices....read more and can choose which fits your lifestyle and purpose in life! Am ready to assist you freely...! ![]() |
kuzee:Ensure your sponsor has the financial capability to support your fees, accommodation and living expenses for 4 years. You will need average of 7000USD per year to run undergraduate program at Cyprus. For admission: you need to email me your complete documents (olevel (minimum 5 credits in related subject), international passport (less than 25yrs) and photo passport).
|
weirdo17:Ask the university to resend your details again and they should inform you when they send!! |
jaye45:For engineering programs, those subjects are fundamental and required to understand what is going on.......for EMU and METU your application will be rejected but for Kyrenia University, you have to apply to them first and they will decide on what to do........Wish you well in your application! |
imaigoro:Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is located in Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus not mainland Turkey. The complete 1 year fees to be paid inclusive of the scholarship discount is stated on your offer letter. If you need visa to travel down to N.Cyprus, simply walk straight to your bank and deposit exact amount plus bank charges to EMU bank account as instructed. If your nationality allows you to visit N.Cyprus without visa, then you can pay during registration after you have arrived on EMU campus. Flight ticket: ask the ticket vendor in your country the rate cos its not fixed or simply type your airport name (from) to Ercan Airport N.cyprus (destination) on google for flight fare. Doing this, you will come across various sites that will give you estimated cost of the trips based on dates and airline you choose. I do hope this helps!!!! |
emmanuel90:Check the signature part of my replies you will find the email add, however, you should email me ONLY if your sponsor have the financial capability to sponsor your education at Cyprus. Wishing you success! |
honeyoluwatoyin:You can do that..just ask the embassy and they will reply you on that! |
munky:You cannot get South Cyprus driving permit if you currently reside in North Cyprus. Most tourist or visitor drives with international driving licence unless you are a short time visitor to south (2-3 days). There is no limit to number of days or time of the day you can visit south Cyprus provided you have the legal right (visa or citizenship/nationality allowed to visit without visa). Visa requirements can be checked on Cyprus migration website, there you will learn about those allowed to visit and days permitted. |
honeyoluwatoyin:Visa processing days depends on visa type at Turkish embassy. The shortest is student/transit visa which now range 3-7 working days provided no glitch. Entry visa (visit or business) at Turkish embassy might be much longer. The visa officer or consular will be in best position to answer this, however, you may wish to let them know you have another appointment at so so date and embassy. That may activate them to pass your application forward. |
Tgud3:NO |
kcbentley:Which words exactly ![]() ![]() ?? Are you referring to WIP7 or who oooooooooooooo? look well sir/ma! |
emmanuel90:Is your sponsor financially ready to pay around 7000-9000USD yearly for 4 years for your education? This includes tuition, accommodation and average living expenses. You will need at least minimum of 5 credits (olevel result) in related subjects and international passport page. If your sponsor is ready, email me the mentioned documents. |
Eureka123:Hmmm the whole of North Cyprus is less than Zamfara state...is not like London, Texas or Lagos...ooo......one advise is the person should be trekking if he/she lives close to school or around school and invest that money in something reasonable that would bring him/her happiness at the end. Reason is that, when you've got a car, you need to decide whether it's more of an asset or a liability. And treat it accordingly. If the person has good source of income that can cater for his immediate need and have cogent reasons to own the car in NC then .......straight to car shops. If the person must buy the car due to his/her personal reasons, then one easier way is to look for those graduating and want to sell there cars..those one can easily sell at ridiculous low prices but the person must engage the service of mechanics like 50-100TL to check the car system and thermodynamics before purchase if not such person will be a close pal to mechanics. Also, the car history should be checked with traffic police...if not the person will use his/her entire tuition fees pay fine the ex-user had incurred. First the person must define his/her target price, nature of car and year! these info will help in locating one!! in North one can still buy good cars from 7000-18,000TL. |
Eureka123:First question is, where the person want to use the car? Cars are quite very cheap in South compared to North. Insurance in south also cheaper and no any procedure to buy just walk into the store and have your full cash with u. There are stores they sell and also they advertise online. It ranges from 2000-5000 euro depends on model, brand and year. But to use it in North is a real problem, it is easy if the person is European or American...you only pay in and out taxes and take it down to South every 3 months. If you dont have passport of those two places.....Police will be your best friend in North and will milk you dry! I bought this one I was using then for 3000euro and paid 150euro 2years insurance! the plate number is South plate number which differs from North so the police will easily stop anybody they noticed is not tourist or does not live in South. Presentation of those passports will save some long stories!

Amosiye:Hope you are enjoying the incoming summer breeze and great sunshine! Wish you well |
peebowpink:To be frank with you..its only consular or presiding officer that can actually evaluate visa application. They do check many things before they make decision. Sometimes, your educational qualification, age, ability of your sponsor to finance your studies without you turning into something else, genuineness of your documents and intention. Mostly, they would like to see steady source or flow of cash....I have heard people with 1-3 mill bank balance issued visa to study here. If you can gather all those funds together and not in lump form then, that should be okay. Last summer, a young man came to my office that he will be attending 7 days short courses under Oxford Continuing Education and sought for advise. He paid the course fee 630 pounds. Has 2000TL (less than 200K Naira) as balance in his bank account which was not lump sum. He was issued 6 months mult-entry visa from NC here.....So I dont know what the visa officer checked but he was issued.....meaning the the intent and ability to fund yourself during your program and returning could be an asset. May I ask you...are you aware that you will have to pay yoyr complete fees before that semesters end or possibly on arrival? is your sponsor aware of accommodation, living expenses and unforeseen contingencies? Also be aware that Jobs can be very scarce here and miracles hardly occur in this region. So be well prepared...I do wish you well! Give it a try!.....Wish you the best! |
Eureka123:Yea boss...u need to focus on the quiz and exams...when u are ready we sort that!.....Wish u success... |
btee234:Since you will be getting a letter from the University directed to the embassy for the purpose of your trip.....that seems enough! About bank statement ..naturally your sponsor bank details should be the one to submit, however, ask the embassy what they need ...they are in charge oooooooooooo! |
btee234:Since you will be getting a letter from the University directed to the embassy for the purpose of yuor trip.....thats seems enough! About bank statement ..naturally your sponsor bank details should be the one to submit, however, ask the embassy what they need ...they are in charge oooooooooooo! |
stoicism:Yea Yeah is actually off-topic here could be well served in Czech thread. For me, I will tell you little I know about Czech. I only visit Prague on occasions but I visit Zlín more and more than Prague. Zlín is just a simple and low cost city in Czech. During those times I used to visit, If i walk for 30 mins..I always presume am the only dark colored human walking in that city...hardly see black or green colored people. Food is cheap and kinda quite country....although at Zlín střed railway market many people want to say hi to you cos u seems darker.....I visited the famous Bata Shoe company and the Bata University..was thinking to take short courses in shoe making and polymer then in this University. My friend we did masters together is from this city...mostly catholic people cos her parents and grand parents always have that Mother Mary thing in their houses.....Also this city features many movie producers...occasions have seen them shooting movies and like some kinda medieval ceremonies...I love their goat cheese....In general Czech seems quite cheaper compared with many other European countries. About visa: As far as I know all information you require can be located on their website clearly written and you don't need to engage agents to spoil your chances.....The most important thing about the embassy is that fake or forged documents will not be returned and will be submitted to relevant national authorities. An applicant who submits a fake or forged document takes a risk of criminal prosecution of his person. You may seek more help from the thread of those studying presently there or about to study.......me na traveler just visit-based fella! Best wishes! |
mord12:Hmmmmm I dont think Turkish or Cyprus embassy staffs are on this forum unless as CIA agent....and its hard to guess what consular will ask applicants......ONLY you can answer what we don't know...................You wrote your exams yourself, You know your sponsor capability, you know the school name you applied to, course you applied for, how much you paid and why you wanted studying there?? Best wishes! |
You can now apply for Aerospace Engineering METU and take practical classes with Turkish Airline!!
|
Eureka123:No o no they wont charge you....they edit, publish and promote your work and you guys can have copyright, permission and distribution agreement. Depends on what you want but for upcoming artiste....you may go with royalty from them on each book sold.... |
Eureka123:Ok ok...u learn by the the day....let have the work first...then if is complete...The publisher will send u forms to fill and ask more questions. For upcoming artiste like you.....sometimes u will just say yes yes provided you agree with their terms and you have seen what they have done in the past. Then as a writer...u keep writing and try to see how it can be more creative and attractive......you must have a target market/audience ... Also if is prints...waow Asia (China ...etc) is actually great and cheapest option I can suggest as buy-back option.....those guys are just crazily blessed. So send it first.... the synopsis then I can know those to contact for u..............hope u will make me the major shareholder ooooooooooooo |
Eureka123:About your proposed book: do you have publisher in mind or contacted one ? I need to be clear of exact stuff you need, just editor or publisher + editor, graphics, formatting and layout? Will u want it as e-book, prints, both, open-access or low cost targets? |
Eureka123:Yes yes if you people cook food.......with goat meat..I will be there oooooooooooooo. Are u coming? |
