You may apply for TRNC government scholarship and you will learn the criteria when you arrive. EMu does not offer additional scholarship for graduate students. We are sending the the first batch of names to embassy on Friday. Names will be at embassy next week. Kindly apply for appointment with the embassy. just one month validity visa will be issued and classes start Sept 30. Ask traveling and tickets vendors for ticket prices and they will tell you the cheapest. Safe trip!

You will be the one to fill your correct name during reg, just court affidavit is okay.

You can change names during registration and you need all academic documents during reg.

The university will change it for you. kindly write to the registrar.

(1.) I applied for admission to EMU in my new name, as I changed my surname from NNAYEREUGO to BENSON; I submitted my affidavit during registration.
The admission was given in my new surname, but the acceptance letter came in my old surname, and my int'l passprt holds my new surname. So i wonder how viable this would be in securing the VISA to TRNC.
Although the school said I would change it during registration. Is the affidavit ok for the change of name?

(2.) I was given a 50% grant which is $1835 as stated on my letter of acceptance. Can I make payments installmentaly? What about the bank & account no?

(3.) Which universities are exchange partners with EMU?

1. Which one is admission and which one is Acceptance letter? EMU has just one letter issued to student which is ACCEPTANCE LETTER(same as Admission letter) so you cant be issued tw0 different letters. EMU prepares Acceptance letter from names on your result not on your Intl passport thats the university RULE. You may go with your affidavit to embassy and explain yourself.

2. Exact amount you are to pay is stated in your Acceptance letter, kindly read it very well. Nothing like installment for new incoming student. (Ensure you have good sponsor, ensure you are financially capable, Ensure you are here to study, You may not get job...If from now you are asking of installment payment then am not sure you are ready)

Read the acceptance letter very well you will find the bank account details written there on your letter or ask somebody to help you read it. Two different banks are written there and the full details also.

3. We have more than 40 universities as EMU exchange partners, exchange is meant for 2nd year student with good CGPA, Our exchange students can only spend one semester in the other university once and there are huge security that wont allow them run away. Since you are coming as new student and want to study at EMU, you do not need to ask for exchange now cos you can only apply at your year 2 and is not automatic but based on alot before you can be selected. read more on EMU international center website for our exchange programs and rules.

I had 8courses in CIU for for my M.Sc course year and 5 of the tutors where professors from mammara,Bolgacizi and Istanbul tech. uni.even the 3 remaining,2 are leaving for NEU. The owner doesn't want to pay them on full time. I know new ones will come,but the matter be say CIU is a business school,no wonder the only academic building in the school has the inscription 'business school'.lol

Hmmmmm there will be strict rules soon. The agents also are only interested in the commissions given and wont say a dime to prospective students!! One lady was writing me Yesterday how EMU has already duped her of 230K, i asked how do you get my emailm she said on Nairaland and said you refused to send your documents for application to me but now you complain i should help you get your money back after agent has duped you...Anyway i cant get the money back but i will ensure such agent is removed. I face these challenges every semester. Most of the students are also gullible and lazy to do their home work. To fill birth cert, Nigerians will still look for agent at Hospitals self...

hycode: CIU is very unstable in its rules not only about their admission but concerning everything they do,for example they might tell you they are affiliated to university of Sunderland today, tomorrow its Wolverhampton, a day after tomorrow it is a a distant learning partnership with campus in Cyprus etc etc. but one thing is certain they care more about the money(maybe because it is a one man's business).

If your results are good enough to get you admitted why don't you try EMU or NEU,this is solely my opinion and I write this because I know if someone in CIU said it wasn't good enough before or something this MIGHT also reoccur in your registration after you might have been in the Island,because Staff are changed like undergarments in CIU,so there are chances that whoever rejected your result has been changed and who is approving now will be changed before you get to the Island. TOO MANY CIU FRUSTRATED PEOPLE IN THE ISLAND ALREADY.Be warned!!!

This is just the truth...most times i want to nail it directly like this but many will think oooo becos he works with EMU thats why he says wrong things about the others...You have nailed it and say it the real way!...

Each semester will have flung of students transferring to EMU from these universities after the students discover what they are in for and some have started to transfer to METU but METU is too strict to accept some of these menaces. Currently am writing a proposal to EMU which may make internal transfer slightly difficult and also ways to weed out students on leave of absence for more than 2 semesters.

You can change it during registration.. That's not a problem.

Please i wish to be clarified on 1 thing here. I applied for Undergraduate Admissions to CYPRUS INTERNATIONAL UNI. I was initially told that my result was'nt sufficent for d school (cos i had 4 credits in my waec including maths and english). So they asked me to forward another result to compliment the one i initially applied with. I did, but they still wrote me that i will still not be admitted because i failed maths in d 2nd waec result. However, after a couple of days, they sent me a CONDITIONAL OFFER. They asked me to pay 2000euros to their account stated as NEW ISLAND EDUCATION LIMITED. That they will then send me the UNCONDITIONAL OFFER FOR ME TO APPLY FOR VISA. Pls i want to know if this process looks normal cos im new to the system and i dnt want to say im insinuating foul play cos they already told me that my documents were'nt suffice and still went ahead to issue me such offer. Thanks, i will appreciaste any advice, suggestions and help.

All universities required minimum of 5 credits including Maths and English to be admitted. Some university in North Cyprus use Score level e.g METU to admit students, EMU based on credit levels and CIU. Since the University reconsidered your application then make the payment. NEW ISLAND EDU.LTD is CIU bank details anyway so you can pay if you wish. Also check the email used to send you the offer letter, it must end with xxxx@ciu.edu.tr and if that is the case, is from CIU. Wish you luck!

Your question above here has been answered kindly look up very well. EMU will send more than 7 batches of names to embassy so if you miss one batch you will meet another batch.

We do not offer Graduate program in Medical related programs including Pharmacy for now. For student to transfer to EMU undergraduate, such student must be less than 25yrs and students must spend minimum of 3 semesters in EMU depending on the students transcripts!

We do not offer any graduate program in Nursing for now, she may try South America.

As undergraduate little you can do, you may have to acquire in depth skills in your line and make yourself competitive and don't forget you need stable sponsor to take up your financial responsibility abroad if not don't venture in such trip.

Turkey is a big country and it has about 7 regions, it will be good if you visit each region and atleast one city in each region. How many days and how much are you planing to spend? this will help people to provide info for you.

The following cities would be a wonderful trip for you in the following order: Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir, Konya, Ankara, Mugla, Samsun, Gazientep. There are more than 90 cities in the region anyway so i have listed them to complete the regions.
All has wonderful night life!

Istanbul: Divided into Asian and Europe sides. Here you will see high number of people and wonderful shops....dont forget you will enjoy Bosphorus cruise at cheap price which you can take Before the Galata bridge. Boat and ship cruise (20-60Lira for 3 destinations). Just trip down the Bridge and you will enjoy fresh fish and juice extract, pay for your boat cruise and enjoy!
Hotel: I will advise the European part (Kadikoy port hotel: 40-100euro per nite) This hotel is so great and they have good customer care services. Just outside the hotel you will see the GREAT ALIBABA eatery and drink joint. You must eat KEBAB by force. The hotel is just 15mins walk from the Major shopping zone (Taksim) and you will love the free self service breakfast.

Antalya: Hmmm you find one of Europe best beach here, assorted chicks(Russian and Thai body massage experts) and range of facilities to keep you busy. Cappadocia tour wont be a bad idea here even is for 2days and can cost you about 150-250Euro but is lovely inclusive of feeding and cruise, hiking and alots of interesting places to see !
Hotel: Bilem Blue water hotel ( 50-100euro per night), This hotel is just 15mins away from the Blue beach of Antalya and is like 10miles from the Airport. One interesting thing about this hotel is the free Sauna and SPA by virgin Brazilian expert...it will thrill you to the bone...give it a try!

Izmir: Here is lovely, you will enjoy your vacation and see lots of business opportunities. Its clean and less crowd compared to Istanbul. But this city is very hot during summer and sticky and you might feel uncomfortable but the beauty of it is your hotel will have AC and the breeze from the sea shores will keep you going...Its lovely if you can take a 2-Day Gallipoli & Troy tour (Around 200-350euro), Micheal Jackson once played in that Gallipoli due to its serene night life.
Hotel: Walk in Hotel (30-100euro per night) you will love this hotel cos of its location and lovely train stations noise will keep you busy. Just 10km from Izmir fair center so keep some money for shopping.

Hmmmm this okay for you... and dont forget to taste the following delicious mouth watering food. The first is called Marinated crunchy durum and 2nd is Pilav kudrsa

Thanks. For you to be admitted into EMU medical program, you must score less than 16 points in your olevel, be under 25yrs and ready to pay 15,500SUD each year for tuition alone. If you are ready let me know.

Your visa application is Not Refused but it has been forwarded to turkish local authorities for further examination. This process is totally beyond the control of the embassy. What dose this mean? And hope it not a BIG PROLEM? My school starts on 16th of september.

Is not a big issue, as far as my knowledge spans your details have not been sent to embassy OR you have sent documents not matching with records the embassy have. Which university are you heading to? The embassy sent circular to universities that they will start receiving details from schools from End June and most schools will start sending from July. So if your details are not with the embassy and you applied too early or you present some documents the embassy see contradictory to details sent to them, they will send your details to SUPER authority in Turkey as all details pass tru them. The Super authority wil establish the correctness of your details or request for your complete details from your university. If all goes well, you will be issued your visa or vice versa.

Unfortunately you did not apply to EMU because EMU will not ask you to pay a dime.How did you apply? Am sure you apply via agent but if the agent actually charge you N7500, then he/she is Godly cos i have heard students pay 120-300K to agents. Show some love N7500 is not much so you can dash the agent.

penroll55: Information to new coming student,at the airport you should expect the immigration officer to ask you for cash or try to confuse you to think you are suppose to give them money or something else,will advice you not to be scared or even give them cus they are all thieves and ready to take all the cash you traveling with all cus u are new.
So no matter what they say dont give them and insist you dont have only if u think u have too much to spend or waste.So many new student fall to their tricks and ended up at times giving them even all the money they have cus almost all the officers will want you to give them,so be wise and shine your eyes when you get to the airport.

If your sponsor/ you do not own a company , you will not need the tax clearance. You don't need to show immigration any amount just your acceptance letter and passport page. Statement of account should have any amount that shows your sponsor is capable of sponsoring you from 2mill upward should be okay.
