EMU SEND ANOTHER BATCH TODAY

For all those that receive their confirmation letters starting from 15 July , your name has just been sent to embassy today. It will get their towards next end. So it's advisable to go embassy from 15th.

I replied your email you sent to this effect that your name has been sent correctly now. You won't have probs.

I will also advise you to be more respective, polite and display good Nigerian character when you send emails to officials or unknown people. I have read most of your mails you directed to EMU including the registrar but you sound very authoritative and not official or formal. When EMU top officials read ur email they said this should not be prospective MSC student....I know too much sun can cause it...... It's just advise oooo am giving. Anyway ur case been resolved.

You may have to register for next semester and have your student certificate scan to you. You will need to take this to the embassy and you have to inform your university to send copies to embassy and Ercan Immigration.

Pls I got the EMU scholarship (50%). I want to know if payment in instalments applies to beneficiaries too.

I know that from the second semester onwards I'll pay in full. Can I pay some part now, at least to secure my place and have my name sent to the embassy? I have an investment that will allow me pay comfortably once I'm in Cyprus.

You must pay exact amount stated on your ACCEPTANCE LETTER, anything short of that, you will loose your money and your name wont go to embassy. Instalments are allowed from second semester not for newcomers!

I am on trip currently heading far far Australia. I was checking all confirmations via the portal now. If your name is EDMUND and admission ref is 2795, kindly check your email and contact the EMU registrar to notify them your name has been sent to YAOUNDE instead of Nigeria. If not you will be informed your name is not in Turkish embassy in Abuja. goodluck!!

PAYMENT AND APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR FALL 2013 AT EMU

I will like to inform all applicants that have received their acceptance letters that the last batch of names will be sent to embassies on 22nd of August, 2013. All payment must be received before the said date to meet FALL 2013 registration.

Application for admission will be closed for male applicants in some departments starting from this week but we open all departments for female applicants until 18th August, 2013. Kindly make your application as soon as possible.

tijidas: Thank you so much for being honest just as I have requested. Kindly list briefly, the next series of steps for me to take since I have an agent's name on my acceptance letter.

Have you decided to come EMU? is very short ooooo, maybe you can take more time to decide pls. If your decision still point to EMU, then kindly make your payment into EMU account and send your payment slip to your agent. i ran the agency code and i discovered who ur agent is. After payment, you will receive confirmation letter and then you can book appointment for visa. Goodluck!

The fees in EMU for software is U$D2,216.25 each semester (50% waiver)excluding Hostel and living expenses. Hostel ranges 1500-2500USD/yr and living expenses 100-300USD monthly. If your sponsor do not have these or not sure to raise these steadily.....i advise you go POLAND ooooooooooooooooooo

I am faced with two somewhat-favorable options here. I need your advice on which to go with.

First, I got an initial acceptance to study Computer Science at the University of Lodz, Poland.

Secondly, I received an acceptance letter from EMU this morning to study Software Engineering (which is my desired course actually, but isn't available in English at Uni Lodz)

I made the Poland application directly to the institution. On the other hand, I applied indirectly through a Director at the Federal Ministry of Education, whom, I suppose, applied 'through an Agent' ("Student Prosperity Agency" http://studentprosperity.com) -agent's name's on Acceptance Letter- to EMU, North Cyprus.

I was told by the polish representative that securing a student-visa could sometimes be a low-likelihood. He directed me to a Nigerian-born recruitment consultant of the institution who asked some questions and pointed out that my long gap from high school could be an issue. He's perusing my personal data ATM. I also told him about my offer at EMU which he affirmed-to @ first, just before he told me that Cyprus is not recognised outside of Turkey, and is a racist-domain (I do not know how true this is though). He went on to say that a good number of Nigerian students try to leave Cyprus after their first year for 'greener pastures' like Poland.

My question is, which would be a better option on the long run? I'm talking 'job prospects', 'international recognition of degree', 'furthering of studies'. Also, the academic environment; then what if I decide to move to the UK after studies

I will advise you to spend time on internet, seek professional help and career Councillor. Know why you are seeking admission outside your territory, your locus and focal path will make you decide. North Cyprus is politically not recognized just like Taiwan but diplomas from NC are recognized worldwide. [b]EMU issues diploma EU SUPPLEMENT [/b]to her graduates which makes your diploma recognized world wide. We have proofs in EMU (we have EMU graduates in Toronto working as Asst prof, We have in USA, Germany and all around). For privacy sake, if you wish to know the recent EMU graduates working in Multinational in EU, USA and Asia, kindly email me i will send you the data to search yourself. I am not convincing you to come to EMU but i am setting the record straight that the diplomas are recognized world wide.

Some came to NC to open mouth to the road and make money why some came to study. The Deputy director of Education Nigeria son studies in EMU, he is not so dull to send his boy here if the degree is not recognized. If you want to study in Poland, kindly go and make yourself happy and proud. Its better for you to go POLAND so that atleast you wont regret like some are regretting since their hopes have been destroyed. If your aim is education, both places will be fine for you. Poland is EU and Schengen but very poor and cant be compared to China that is not EU nor Schengen..life is not by EU nor schengen its about aiming at the right target and getting what you want.

If you must study abroad, get good sponsor either NC or Poland cos money has stopped growing on trees abroad, Jobs are scarce everywhere cos the citizens need jobs also. If you want EU and Schengen kindly head to Poland but if you want small island where there is no train but you can be educated under low crime rate and at affordable rate you can choose NC. You may have to Fast, pray, seek the religious personnel, meet your sponsor,ask google to help you out.

As Justwise asked, did you apply for the visa yourself?

Let me state how it goes here...I travel around alot and i must pass tru Turkey in almost all my trips and anytime i am heading to UK and US, the immigration/or the guys at the exit will have to collect my passport for verification of the passport and Visa. Its normal routine. They have system to check and sometimes they make calls for further verification, they do pay penalties in case anything goes wrong. Not only UK but also I have experienced this checking most times i am heading to the US also.

All my visas are issued In Turkey so if they check issued place and see TURKEY then is easy for them to verify eventhough my UK visas are issued in ROME they still check and let go cos is close place. If your visa is genuine, surely they will let you fly unless something is wrong.

The following things can bring about this terrible check:

1. Your nationality or nature of passport you are holding

2. Travelling history

3. Visa issued place.

First batch sent many weeks back, 2nd batch sent as well and 3rd batch in 10days time. You dont need to know when any batch is sent, just apply to Turkish embassy for appointment.

Unfortunately EMU does not offer scholarship for her medical program. We have age limit of 25yrs for undergraduate studies in EMU. Fees for one year medicine is 15,600USD. You need to score below 16 points in your olevel to be admitted into Medicine in EMU irrespective of your current level of education. You may look at South America medical university which is cheaper and may admit you into MD1...

The details of exams will be mailed to you if you applied directly for the admission weeks before the exams. Mostly the exam will be written before classes start (before 30th Sept)and you are advised to come before the exam. Nigerians are exempted from English exams. If you have passed the same course then you have to show the Dean before you write the exam.

I know you are an agent...cos i got your details but it does not match with the real student....Most agents come here to steal info and sell to their clients...the worst is that the agents still claim to be genuine reader here and instead of them to disclose it even if they email me (if agent email me, is better to disclose who you are than claiming who you are not)! Anyway send me your client slip, would speak with Account tmr.

You can pay your fees till august end but the earlier the better. Pay with your full name and acceptance reference number. Scholarship is for entire study period. Tell them why you changed your surname if asked.

The visa must be valid and it can be new or used. Also the Turkish immigration has a genuine way of verifying the visa. Anytime am going to the UK or Germany via Izmir , the immigration in Izmir (Turkey) do collect my passport and take it inside for verification before we proceed. I was also in the same plane with Eriterean national that was returned at Izmir not to fly the Pegasus Airline due to his visa can't be read on their system.

EMU does not admit 3rd class graduate. He wont be admitted. Even 2nd lower very low wont be admitted.
