Religion is "big business".
Religion is not business, because business connotes it provides some value to society. Religion is exploitation and enslavement of the poor and helpless masses of a society for the benefit of a few privileged class.

The man does not know that China, Taiwan, USA and Japan prayed to God to reach that stage.

I doubt if the man has the Holy Spirit.
False!
China abandoned God through Chairman Mao to be able to get to that stage.
Japan also abandoned the concept of a personal God that requires worship and praise all the time in order to grant unmerited wealth and prosperity to get to that stage.
The US used God as a weapon to decimate the aboriginal tribes of the US and also used God as a weapon to enslave and exploit West Africans in order to get to that stage

Na lie.

Buildings, Utilities and whatever are designed by engineers and built by artisans.
You seem to conflate artisans with engineers. Artisans are the basic or rudimentary semi - skilled worker that can only handle basic tasks. For example, an electrician (artisan) can wire a small bungalow, but it would be stupid and suicidal to task an electrician to wire a high rise building or a hospital. You would need an electrical engineer for more complex wiring. Same with plumbing or any other building services.

That is a crude way of putting it, but Oshiomole is right. To industrialise, Nigeria needs more technical work force.

However, the socio-economic conditions and value system in nigeria does not give proper dignity and reward to such jobs, except on few occasions.
Oshiomole was not talking about technical work force, he was talking about artisans. Ie bricklayers, painters, iron benders, vulcanisers, tailors and when labourers.
Industrialisation requires mainly skilled manpower, like engineers and technicians.

You obviously have very poor understanding and knowledge about how society works or is stratified.

I will let you ride on the coattails of a comment I made earlier to a similar statement made...

Three things are evident from your question.

1. You obviously don't understand metonymy/synecdoche, so I can excuse your inability to comprehend even though the my reference to 'technical' work force should have given you an idea that the matter relates to blue collar jobs in general which leads me to the next point.

2. You seem not to know that blue collar jobs are the backbone of industrialisation. No matter how many tertiary degrees you have, no matter how many innovations you can come up with, you need people who can put in sweat and blood to do the 'dirty' jobs. People with technical know-how and special skill sets. Those people whom you take for granted which brings me to my third point.

3. You come across as one of those who raise thier noses against honest Labour. You see a bricklayer or mechanic and see the person as sub-human. You think they contribute nothing to the economy.
The redded quote is correct but only partially. The backbone of industrialisation particularly in the 21st century is first and foremost Science and Technology, followed by Energy. Without cheap and available source of energy industrialisation cannot get off the ground. Then followed by a machine tool industry. You need machines that would make the tools and machines for making products.
Then you need highly skilled engineers to design and build infrastructures for the industries. Blue collar jobs are the last piece of the industrialisation puzzle. Some countries don't even bother with blue collar workers as they are the cheapest to produce and their wage is also the cheapest in the whole equation, they simply import blue collar workers from poor countries.

In this era of AI, machine learning and robotics, many of the functions of blue color workers can be undertaken by machines.

He should rush and pay that money or else another sharp Man will take his place.
How much do you project a young man starting life, just out of school and probably working for about 5 years to be making in order to be ready for marriage?
If your traditional marriage 6 years ago was more than N6 million, how much did you spend for the total marriage - including religious and court weddings? How much did you use to start your family - housing, feeding, bills, etc.? How did you earn as a bachelor? How do you make your money (hussle) - legitimately or criminally?

. It doesn’t work that way, when those villagers about to get married, they give what they have, sale crops, bring goats, sale farm lands. Bride price is not static, you negotiate, come to a compromise. Like I said earlier, bride price is test. How u go through shows your character.
You guys sell farm lands to pay bride price? That's insanity. Bride prize is meant to be symbolic and hence just a token. The other wedding expenses should be cost of entertainment and the wedding proper. Now in most societies cost of entertaining guests is borne by the brides family. That's because its the brides family that is receiving and entertaining guests. The bridegroom, family and friends come to the bride's family to ask for her hand in marriage. I can understand if the brides family is dirt poor and the bridegroom decides to help in entertaining guests, but I have never understood the culture of the bridegroom not only paying to entertaining his own family and friends in his bride's house, but also to entertaining the whole village.

Heads or tails Dangote wins. If Tinubu and NNPC still chose to import, they will have to source scarce dollars by either borrowing or dip into our foreign reserve. Dangote can then partner with international banks and his international partners and buy crude abroad in dollars and sell refined products abroad in dollars. The dollars will never touch the hands of CBN or FG.

You know everytime I open the Internet all I see are people spreading fears and paranoia calling it facts based on empirical data. If I may ask where are the data you have quoted to support your white man assertions there? Mr. scientific whiteman, give me figures and statistics and I will listen to you.
Yes, there may be some bit of difficulties associated with children giving birth at advanced age but such difficulties still exist too for even some who chose to born early. To say deformities come with giving birth in advanced age is going too far to scare people into believing that once they don't give birth early, they are condemned into having deformed children. If you talk of bias, I believe that line of thought resonate more with emotions of people like you that see marriage as do or die and something people must do so fast and get over than emotions of people like me who tells people to take their time, find compatible partners and get into advances in science that makes giving birth easy even for those advanced in age.
I have read many so called scientific opinions these days and all I often see are people calling personal biases and fear scientific opinions.
My sister stop all the "shalayes" and excuses, if you are over 30 and without a partner, declare a state of emergency on your relationship status. Get a partner - husband, boyfriend or baby daddy fast
Time is running out - tick tock... tick tick.... tick tock.
Whether you accept accept reality or deceive yourself, fertility, conception and child bearing becomes increasingly difficult after 35 years of age.

Not only scientific data, but common sense would tell you that pregnancy and child bearing is an extremely energy demanding exercise, and the older the woman the more it takes a toll on the woman's body.

After 35 years of age na fibroid and cyst go take over your womb o.

Not exactly accurate. The quality of male sperm starts generating at much later age than female eggs. Men replace sperm cells every few weeks. It's from 70 years and above that the quality starts degenerating.

You guys are living in a fake world, a make believe world. In reality, Nigeria is the number one poverty capital of the world. Over 128 million Nigerians are considered poor according to the world Bank, and you come online pretending Nigeria is Switzerland. How many Nigerians can afford to spend N2m on traditional wedding alone? Not to talk of religious and court wedding. A lot of Nigerians after engaging in criminal activities or corruption come online and pretend as if Nigeria is richer than the US and UK put together. Bride price was meant to be a token according to original African culture and not a return on investment scheme.

I am the last in my house and my mum gave birth to me when she was over 40 and thought she was done with childbearing and I am not deformed. I have a sister who had spinal cord injury, she had her last child with her condition after she was 40 and the child is a big graduate and employed now. I have seen people who were young and gave birth to deformed children. So where do all these your assertion come into my experience? How does someone like me relate to it? They are simply some of those baseless biases some of you decide to build around life. God should be allowed to guide people individually in their choices in life. There will be so many who marries early and won't have children until late in their marriages, infact there has been many like that without deformed children. If your life is ruled by such fears, you can keep them to yourself and your immediate families,.no need to stop spreading panics and your paranoia to others.
You are just exhibiting typical blackman's traits - emotions over reason. No one has said older women can't give birth to perfectly normal babies, what doctors are saying is that empirical data suggests that the propabllility (note the word probability) of having complicated pregnancies and babies with genetic diseases increases with age. That does not mean that a 50 year old woman cannot birth a normal child.
The reasons are obvious. A female is born with all the eggs she will ever have. The eggs mature at puberty and from there begins to degrade slowly until menopause. Of course you will expect that by 50 most of the eggs would have degraded and so the chances of genetic diseases from such eggs are quite high.

Your first question is very irrelevant. And in as much as I don’t support what the general did, some things are common sense(although most Nigerians don’t have sense) to know that when driving as a civilian you don’t try to overtake or go near:
The question is is relevant, I would say the question is deeper than your comprehension.
Let me break it down to you like a primary school student.
Uniforms are worn for official duties, most uniforms are worn during the course of carrying out official duties, and in appropriate environment. Doctors wear their uniforms when carrying out official duties in hospitals or in field duties. It would not make sense for doctors to wear official doctors attires just going to the market to buy tomatoes. Even nurses have dignity and don't wear nurses uniform on the streets roaming up and down. Even polices offices I know don't wear police uniform outside official hours. A police neighbour of mine would wear mufti from home, change to uniform on resumption of duty, and change again to mufti after official duty is over. He comes home to his family in mufti.
The sight of military men in full military regalia blaring siren in crowded cities, intimidating ordinary civilians is a disgrace to the military profession. You will not find such appalling sight anywhere else in the world outside military dictatorship governments.

Secondarily, sirens are for emergencies, particularly for medical, security or other emergencies? Sirens are not for show of power or show of importance. That's why politicians in other climes don't blow sirens when moving about. That's why I asked "what was the emergency" for the general blowing sirens that everyone must scamper away from the roads?

A police/army convoy

Or a bullion van transporting cash.

Always be on the safe side because they don’t know your intentions. You mustn’t be emotional over everything.
