nwabobo:Why are you people like this?? In line with what sonnie10 said, there are some less better looking schools in the same U.S/California with lesser facilities than some of the ones in Osun that people like you would be quick to consider as world-class, but out of your self-hatred, bitterness, jealousy and envy, you have deliberately chosen to exhibit your bad-belle rather than give credit where it is due. Smh. |
Those comparing Nigeria and Ghana according to the Op's benchmarks are only exhibiting the classic case of 'the grass looks greener on the other side'. No matter what, some people will always want us to believe that other countries are better than Nigeria, even when the reverse may be the case. That doesn't mean Nigeria doesn't have its own issues. Someone on this forum even once gave war-torn Somalia a better rating than Nigeria in terms of development. Another said tiny Kigali in Rwanda is better than anywhere in Nigeria. So there you have it. ![]() |
Are they trying to say that Kachikwu was just crying wolf? ![]() |
bakynes:In other words, the only way Nigeria can have peace would be for Yorubas to play the mumu, while Igbos would be allowed to perpetually rule the rest of us because they feel Chukwu Okike Obiama has created them to be superior and better than everybody else and therefore should remain in the driver's seat, afterall they 'merit' it. Of course the Hausa-Fulanis won't allow or have any of that because of their own 'born-to-rule' tendencies. Meaning that, even if Yorubas willingly choose to play the mumu role, Hausa and Igbos will continue to remain at each other's throat as they currently are because Igbos will claim they deserve every position based on 'merit' since they are 'superior' and better than anyone else anyway, while the abo.kis who feel that Nigeria is 'Allah's gift' to them would never permit that. Why not just break up this country so that everybody will be a king in his father's house or compound? That way the igboman can restrict his 'superiority' to his domain, the Hausa-Fulani can claim his Northern country as his 'Allah's gift', and the Yorubaman would finally be free to live his life and develop in peace ![]() |
deedeedee1:I have said it before that the only people igbo people love are those that they feel they can dominate. Truth is that they can never really love Yoruba people because Yorubas refuse to be dominated by them. Azikiwe was very frustrated in all his schemings to dominate the Yorubas politically. Initially he had modest success with the NCNC because Yoruba people trusted him and misread his intentions. But from the moment he made that famous statement about igbo intention to dominate the rest of Nigeria, our people started the process of detaching themselves from his movement and that was how Awolowo's Action Group was born and the SW politics never remained the same. But why should igbo people want to dominate other tribes and even go as far as openly stating that? It is insane for them to expect others to just turn to mumu and allow themselves to be overrun without resistance. Only slaves would consent to that. Even the minorities of the old Eastern region rejected and are still resisting their domination, how much more Yoruba people? |
perez100:You are right. The Northerners can be 'trusted' to suyanize you all at the slightest provocation, and that was also why they committed the Asaba massacre amongst other massacres against you people. Smh. You must continue hating Yoruba people because the North has shown igbos more love than them. You people and the abo.kis fit each other like hand-and-glove, so much that I wonder why you people didn't include the North in your Biafra map. ![]() ![]() |
Smh. When will these ipobs stop this nonsense of spreading fake news? That was how they circulated fake news about shekau supporting biafra. This is becoming embarrassing.
|
The truth is that 'One Nigeria' has turned out to be a big scam. Too much mutual suspicion exists among the ethnic components that makeup this contraption. The country is better off split because it is clear that some are more attached to the pseudo-concept of 'One Nigeria' than others. On a day like this it must be tough being igbo because the recent Biafra agitation puts them in a tight position where even their pro-Nigerian ones find it difficult to celebrate Nigerian independence amongst their brothers especially in the SE, owing to the Biafran agitation. |
One Nigeria is a scam. |

giftq:But OUK said his people told him Kanu has escaped to Rondon through Malaysia. Which one make we come believe. Someone is definitely lying to us. ![]() |
Smh. Rubbish. It's like these people even want things to get worse than they already are. Talking about giving the FG more powers?? Shameless parasites. |
I have noticed that ipobs are fond of cooking up and disseminating fake news and ascribing them to personalities to make them spread fast. That is not the way to gain independence. Smh. Vanguard should also stop accepting fake news from ipob if they want to keep their credibility as a news source. |
Chai! So Fayose will truly end up becoming plesident? Plophet, fear God with your lies oooo. ![]() |
ShobayoEmma:Stop mixing issues. The point I am making is that ipob don't have to claim that it is shekau that said so. They are also behind the recent fake news about atiku support for kanu. All their online news outlets are filled with fake news and propaganda. You can't win independence that way. |
omenka:I have noticed that these ipobs are master fake news peddlers. They are fond of cooking up and disseminating fake news and ascribing them to personalities to make them spread fast. That is not the way to gain independence. Smh. |
mightyhazel:That is part of the tribalism the writer was talking about. Igbos are not the only people trading and doing business all over Nigeria. There are hard working and diligent traders and business people all over Nigeria, Africa and indeed the wholw world. Hardly will an igboman ever see, admit, or praise the good traits in other Nigerians. Rather he sees himself as the only hard working and diligent worker while every other Nigerian must be lazy and unsuccessful. You people are not more hard working than other Nigerians, ok? Unless you are the one putting food on other tribes table learn not to look down on others, ok? How would you feel if other tribes decide not to patronize your market and traders because of your crass tribalism? Will you still claim to be more hard working or a failure? This is the attitude the writer was referring to. You people just can't help yourselves. It has really eaten deep. |
mightyhazel:Did you read that piece at all? It was written by an igboman and succinctly captures the paradox inherent in the igbo man. He does not mind going to other places to enjoy their tolerance and large-heartedness, even though in his heart he hates them and would not return the favour or show such magnanimity to non-igbos in igboland. How many non-igbos do you people employ in your markets? Even among yourselves you discriminate, not to talk of towards outsiders. Didn't Enugu people fired Anambra workers from their civil service, or Abia fired non-indigene igbos? You people don't hide your hatred for non-igbos on this website, and you have extended that to non-christians. Who else does that in this country? Even the writer confirms that hatred. You people should learn to tolerate other Nigerians the same way they have always tolerated you. |
OjukwuWarBird:Where did you hear that I oppose Biafra? Left to me everybody will go their separate ways in peace. You people are full of hate. You hate Yoruba people, you hate Hausa people, You hate Muslims whether they be Yoruba or Hausa Muslims. The only people you don't hate are those you feel you can dominate. Smh. |
Smh. Every tribe in Nigeria is tribalistic to some degree, but SE folks are the biggest and most tribalistic in this country. Even amongst themselves. That is just the truth. |
Biafra agitation has awakened and made Yorubas more protective of their space so the chances of that happenning is now zero. |
The Christians are nothing special and no better than Muslims in this country. They commit crimes just as much as muslins do so this op is just fooling himself by pandering to religious sentiments. OBJ and GEJ were Christians and contributed their bit to bringing Nigeria to where it is today. I am more concerned about the fate of the young Jewish religion that was catching fire in the SE before Kanu's fall from grace. Hope the SE Christians won't start marginalizing and oppressing them. |
This is becoming too much. iPob getting exposed and fvcked left, right and center. |
I can't help but feel sorry for Kanu. What ever happened to all those militants shouting 'biafla or death', swearing to protect him with their lives, including some ND militants like Asari who promised to bring down the zoo if Kanu is arrested? Seems NK has been abandoned by even his own BSS. |
I blame 'Afonjas' for this. ![]() |
Backstabbing 'Afonja' Governors. Nollywood needs to shoot a biopic on Namadi Kanu, titled "The Rise and Fall of iPob". |

gsmphoneseller:The op is one of your brothers from Anambra. Don't be fooled by his moniker. |
Since the video of ipobs hunting for Hausa people to kill in Aba buses went viral, I knew this was inevitable. ![]() |
They are probably where Ojukwu's kids were during the ill-fated Biafra war, somewhere safe and far away from the kasala that he has brought upon his mindless followers and innocent Abians. ![]() Smh. Hope ipob followers are learning some wisdom. Ffk and Fayose, their cheerleaders, are probably sexing their wives and eating hot Amala with egusi soup, while kanu's where about is currently unknown. Wisdom is profitable to direct, so says the good book. |
