RomanceRe: I'm Getting Married In December, But To The Wrong Person. Pls Help Me Out by Wislet(f): 8:58am On Aug 28, 2011
That's better. If u're convinced u dont want her/ur heart is not with her, dont allow any persuasions. It is ur future u're talking about. After everything, it will be the two of you dat will live together, not ur parents. Marriage is to enjoyed and full of peace, not merely tolerating. U might have taken a long time to finally say ur mind, but better than deceiving yourselves.

Some men can be wicked. If u dont like de girl, RELEASE HER SO SHE CAN FIND HER HUSBAND. U re tired of seeing her- wen u finalize everythin, and get to see her everyday for yrs, u will pack out? Or tell her to go visit her parents at intervals too so u dont get bored? U'll be doing a wicked thing if u marry dat girl when u know u dont love her. Tell her plainly u dont love her and let her find the one dat wont give her headache.

Here's to all the women on this thread that have always got my back. cool

@nemesis. I guess I can understand some of your comments, but I do believe that I deserve some measure of anonymity. Not that I have any secrets of any kind, but the anonymous nature of NL makes it easier for a lot of people to express what they really feel without any repercussions to his/her person. I enjoy being on this thread, but you make it difficult for me to contribute since I always have it at the back of my mind that someone else isn't playing on the same team. One thing I'm happy about is that I've been honest about everything I put in here. I get the strange feeling that if it were a pack of lies, I'm of the opinion that you would have spilled the beans by now. So, in a very ironic way, you gave me some legitimacy. However, I want my anonymity back. The freedom to contribute anything I want, without me thinking that everything I say here is being debated by a whole bunch of people who know me. One more thing, please stop saying how much you know me. It's beginning to get on people's nerves smiley

Well, kids are back in school and so am I. It's back to all work and no play makes serubawon very miserable. At least I have this thread to fall back on when I get stressed out because I have to admit, you guys put me in stitches sometimes when I read the posts. Thank you for making the thread what it has become. The search goes on for Mrs. serubawon (hopefully sooner than later). I guess when it happens, I'll have to extend an invitation to everyone. Now that would be a blast (to actually see the people behind the posts) wink.
Ya. I guess she's embarrassed enough. @seru, yup. A real blast it would be. Lookin forward to it- God willing. But all we want is the RIGHT choice. We'll be PATIENTLY waitin for the IV cos all we want is to be invited to the 'happy ever after' union. So! U're charged-- look well before choosing. Else u're gonna answer to moi wink

I WONDER. Or is she seeking for cheap popularity (5 mins glory) for the status of someone that knows the guy? Or she wants to relish the moment when desperate women will contact her/befriend her to give them access to the guy or help them snag him. As a single lady, i know the importance of WISDOM, LESS TALK, MORE THINKING, AND TACT. But clearly some married women don't know how to gain and keep their husbands' trust. Even her own husband shouldn't have known, not to talk of 'friends'. And from the friends, the stuff becomes an open secret. Trust some women. @seru, pls be careful. Dont giv out any more personal info about u to anyone.

@seedorf, The girl has been using blackberry since MAY. So what is the new one call forhuh Or did your guy not notice?,,, @all guys(and ladies too), I have said it and will continue to say it.,, use your brains when in any relationship. Dont allow 'fake love professions' turn your senses. Do not spend heavily or invest in any woman(man) that is not officially your wife(hubby). Look critically at the character and maturity of a lady(man) and not body features(wealth). A girl that does not remember her guy is still a student like her, wish him success in his studies and encourage him to invest with any little money he makes--it is not from my mouth u will hear that chicken could grow teeth!! I am tired of stories such as these. And to top it all, the guy in question doesn't seem to be reasoning like a true Nigerian boy, but one from 'panya'. Pls tell him to click on this thread. Maybe seeing the criticisms from guys like him will help him small. Smh.

This is how you know a wife material and a mere small girl. A girl that would have given birth to four kids(if she did not abort)-according to you- to be talking like a girl just out of primary school? And he's considering coming back to Nigeria for his studies just because of her senseless demands, when his own parents are the ones still paying his school fees?? Someone that is behaving this way, when she gets married and her friends' husbands buy them things, so he'll keep on being compared to others' living standards? SOMEONE THAT KNOWS THAT GUY SHOULD PLS TELL HIS PARENTS TO STOP PAYING HIS SCHOOL FEES AND WITHDRAW HIM FROM SCHOOL. He is a disgrace.

FamilyRe: Why Do Couples Look Alike After Years Of Marriage? by Wislet(f): 7:33am On Aug 24, 2011
When you observe two friends who always move together, do everything together, you find that they start getting this similar look after a while. They could almost pass for twins. I think that applies in this case.
FamilyRe: Why Do Couples Look Alike After Years Of Marriage? by Wislet(f): 7:30am On Aug 24, 2011
That's why sex with just anyone outside marriage is not advised.

U dont need anybody's advice. Marriage is not a do/die affair. U should aim for peace of mind. You alone know wat ur heart wants. If u deceived her, ask for God's forgiveness and hers, and move on. You dont wanna hate yourself and anybody else later on. It is not too late.

^^^ Why will any good thinking and smart lady bother with a widower and 2 kids, tell me the ladies that dont love new or good thing and a widower is not a good thing or a smart move, am also disappointed in all the ladies on this post, this just goes to show how cheap Nigeria women have become, am loving my life in England and have sinced moved on.
@mobo, sometimes it pays to reason well before commenting. Did i say 'sometimes'? ALL the time. Who told you anybody here was interested in him <except one?>. And how does this discussion generate to insulting Nigerian women? U better be careful the way u run ur mouth where Nigerian women are concerned. And wat do u mean by saying he can't find a good woman? In ur myopic view(since u continually refuse to see beyond ur nose), being a widower is now a curse? U dont even worth a reply from anyone.
