RomanceRe: Feeling Guilty For Not Telling Her The Truth. by Wislet(f): 5:04pm On Jun 25, 2011
@OP, yes, U should have encouraged her to watch ur friend closely herself. The marriage probably shouldn't have been hurried into too. But no use crying over spilt milk. She's married already. Wat she can do now is pray for her husband-divorce might not be a wonderful idea. Some Other women married to worse have had their husbands turned wrong side right wit God's intervention. Her husband is not too big for God-encourage her to be a good wife to him and always pray for him. No situation is unchangeable.

RomanceRe: I'm Scared I Wont Find A Wife If I Dont Compromise by Wislet(f): 11:31pm On Jun 22, 2011
I love this. So we still have men that have high standards-unmarried men that don't behave like se.x is their right? Men that know wat decency and pride and self respect means? Kai! Daddy God i thank u. See my brothers coming out/standing for wat is right and decent. , kudos to all u guys(the few some). Pls never ever compromise. Dat mentality of 'without sex a relationship is hitting de rocks' as propaganded by mostly de guys is untrue, unfortunately some girls hav started believing dat.
@OP, pls keep it up. Never compromise for anyone. Beautiful girls, intelligent, wat have u- yet decent are very much around. Though good things don't come easy, I'm sure wit God's help u'll find ur heart desire.

And women in Nigeria have better morals?
U're more likely to find a God fearing one. Yes. Not those that outrightly ridicule it. I don't know how u guys look before deciding on dating someone-wat with all de disaster stories. Big behind and all wat not is not wat a good wife entails! U men had beta start seeking God's face and BEING the kind of person u would like to meet. U can't be a player and hope for a miracle.

Engage in practisn water therappy. Drink lots of water daily and reduce your daily carbohydrate content. Exercise is also important like taking a jugging 4rm house 2 breweries
The water therapy works. Alternately drink warm and cold water. The exercise causes a continuous contraction which helps in shedding off fats.

RomanceRe: She's A Good Girl And Pregnant For Me, But I Dont Love Her! by Wislet(f): 10:54am On Jun 19, 2011
If he was never interested in marrying her, then i don't think he should have slept wit her at all- talkless of gettin her pregnant. Was he chained?? Now dat de deed is done, well, let him go ahead and marry her. Men like him are praying for good, faithful, wife material ladies- and he has been given dat on a platter of gold. Yet he uses de excuse of 'I dont luv her'. Since he's looking too far, let him not be surprised dat the one he might 'fall in luv with' could become a thorn in his flesh. He had better think of his child first-who knows, he could fall in love with de girl later. By de way, most of our parents married dat way and loved later-and see how successful their marriages are.
RomanceRe: Dated White Women All My Life, Will I Be Able To Go Home And Marry A Naija Woman by Wislet(f): 10:26am On Jun 19, 2011
Before i forget, be wary of some white ladies. The morality rate over there is very low. A culture that does not recognize God, Unless u're not a christian. If u are- be careful.
well there, so u have a 99 % correct view of the reality of the situation i see, n thanks for going out of your way to give me your really highly considered views.

no white gril i have been with has ever left me becos i have a lot of the qualities they like in their white men but also being a black man for real n all that that means,

let me explain why: i used to be invited to an african food place here by my friend n when we get there, there would be so many naija men watching sports n eating all evening n drinking and arguing n shouting, k, n i would ask my friend, dont any of these men have girlfriends or wives, because i dont see any women here?? he would say, yes O - like himself, they r all married n have kids!! n i would then ask the next logical question, so where r the wives n kids while these people r here doing this??

, home alone was the answer!!

i would be shocked, because in my nature, if i was going to an african place, im bringing my wife n kinds and if we chose to go take a walk by the lake in the evening, everyone is coming too, it's just the way it should be, no one will be left at home alone while im out parting -its just wrong, n unfair! im well educated n have a very decent job n so far, my Xs have left only becos they mistake my not marrying em as lack of love, but it was not, it's just that i was not ready to marry then

now that i am ready to get married, the last thing on my mind is that a white woman wil leave me, its me who may leave actually n same with any naija gurl i may go home to bring, if she comes n try to cause me unnecessary stress, i tell her baby take it easy, baby take it easy, but she has her own agenda that does not include my happiness, it will not matter if she wants to stay with me -because i will leave her, period! u feel me?? lolz

so what i mean is that i sabi white girls because i understand em and im a super nice guy, n while i may visit naija, i have no plans to move there later unless thngs improve a lot more than they r now over there so that is not a problem

i have already talk to one or two naija gurls n they have no trust in a man, lies a lot over things that r not even important n they have made up their minds about life overseas n dont hear the things u say, which means they will be shocked if they get here n then turn around n try to blame the man who ends up bringing em here, but maybe those r the ones u mean by 'bad ones'

im gonna visit n see face to face n then make up my mind, im sure now thats the best option for me for now

THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED FROM THEIR HEARTS
@Stunna, when u visit, while u're at it, try not to let any girl u might be interested in know much about u-especially where u are based or dat u have much money (if u do). Just dress and talk like an ordinary 9ja guy. And instruct ur family and ur guys not to let out anything. Dat way u dont get the pretenders and fakes. And look at character., , nawa o!!! See how a few are spoiling show for other girls. Our own guys now fear even their own women. This is bad. Very bad. Instead of bein happy to come back and link up wit ur own, u're skeptical. <spits> western influence my foot. Our black ladies beta come back to their senses, and fast. Wonder wat our elders think of this generation.
RomanceRe: Still In Love The Long-time Boyfriend Although Engaged! by Wislet(f): 8:32am On Jun 19, 2011
harakiri:
This is why guys like myself don't take women seriously and it will be extremely hard for me to consider marriage of all things (except perhaps a non nigerian). Look at this poster who has the kind of man women go to church and babalawo to pray they meet one and all she's thinking of is another woman's husband. These are the same women that insist on absolute "trust" in a relationship (and they are usually the first to betray that trust). Like i always say : ANY MAN THAT TRUSTS A WOMAN 100% MUST BE REETARDED! ! !
My dear, there are still plenty faithful Nigerian ladies. Just ask God to help u find one. Not all have lost their sense of reasoning.
RomanceRe: Still In Love The Long-time Boyfriend Although Engaged! by Wislet(f): 8:28am On Jun 19, 2011
@OP, WHATEVER U HAD WITH YOUR EX-BOYFRIEND ENDED THE MINUTE HE GOT MARRIED. You have already attracted God's anger by sleeping with a married man. How old are you? Don't u reason before u act?? How would u feel if it were a husband u loved so much that betrays u with his former girlfriend. BE CAREFUL THE KIND OF SEED YOU SOW FOR YOURSELF- COS U WILL HARVEST SAME. Pray no other woman steals your man the way u are trying to steal another woman's husband. For you own good, cut off all ties with dat man. And even if u don't love ur fiance, go and look for another SINGLE partner u love. Be warned.
RomanceRe: Ex Is Pregnant And My Wedding Is Next Month by Wislet(f): 8:54pm On Jun 18, 2011
slimtoney:
Hmmm, He that feels it knows it. Every one has spoken and has spoken well. I am this kind of guy that try to be friendly with my exs' even if the reason we went our separate ways was as a result of their faults.Am not a perfect person too.

It happened that after her disappearance, she came back feeling sorry abt her actions. She messed up real good. She took my preg. to live with another guy after our misunderstanding. Gave birth to a baby girl, unknown to me cuz I could not trace her whereabouts and she never contacted me or any of my family. Her close friend and her mum will not tell me her whereabouts when I went looking for her.

When she lost the baby before her first birthday she came looking for me to confess and free her conscience. I 4gave her. I have relocated since then. But she is constantly calling me to the extent that I have to let my fiancee into the whole story.

She was hell bent on seeing me, proclaiming love and all dat. Recently she came to a neighboring state and ask if she could visit me for an important discussion. I agreed. She came and one thing led to another and I must point out I was careful. The moment she refused condom I resorted to withdrawal, but she encouraged that I go all d way.

I never failed to tell her about my fiancee and my forthcoming wedding. see why am confused abt her intentions and I don't even know how to let my fiancee into this
Friendly with ur exes my foot. Do you get friendly by sleeping with them?? Is dat how u show u're a 'good' and forgiving guy? U sound a lot childish. A woman will tell you not to use protection, and you agree- in this time and age?? Do you know how many men she might have been with de whole time u were separated? Did you even think of ur health - her health status?? Love indeed. She loves you so much NOW you're about to get married? You allowed a few minutes of 'attraction' rob you of all reason? TWO SOLUTIONS: First, go with her for a test. If positive- be very careful it is indeed yours and not some other guy's own she is tryin to use to get you. , By the way, this lady is one fast thinker- a deadly one at dat. LOL. She KNEW you were getting married soonest, so she reasoned dat de only way to trap you since she still wanted you was to take advantage of your weakness & silliness to get you to sleep wit her without protection, so she could give u a concrete story- 'cos of course it would be weird tellin you she was pregnant when you used protection! U better watch your back young man. Someone might be out to play a fast one on you- using the only line that will make you lose your fiancee and consider her. Of course de 'pregnancy' could be conveniently lost later when u fall into de net. , Call her bluff and watch whether it is true. Dont show any serious concern. Dont let her see it affects you in any way from ur facial expressions. She could capitalize on dat to mess you up. Act nonchalant even while u go for a test wit her to YOUR OWN doctor- so nobody stages any fast one on you. But if she refuses, hmmmm. If she's desperate, she might go to ur girl wit de same tale. So u beta be prepared to tel ur woman whatever and convince her u're not a waste of her time. Also since u know she's probably determined to get back wit you, and u know u love your fiancee only or much more (that is if u are) u beta get rid of distractions. Including getting another phone number, never letting her have it & throwing away the Mr NICE GUY attitude. It is not needed in some cases. , BUT IF U INDEED ARE A PAPA? Dat one na ur cup of tea.

If the marriage is still very young-say less than 5yrs, it will be very dangerous for any of the parties involved to be distanced from the other. A solid marriage requires a strong foundation-they both have to take time to build first before such moves can be made. If not, the whole thing could crumble and they both could become strangers to each other after that 5yrs cos there's no solid ground underneath,

So he finshed with a 3rd class? As in a 3rd class brain? And you, if we are to go by genomics, have a third class brain? Not to talk of the people that gave birth to you? And your kids would have.      .      .   maybe I should stop now. grin

Orisirisi!

Anyway, congrats to you and your brother, Mr. 3rd class brain from UI. This is one of the reasons this country will never move forward, nepotism and the elevation of mediocrity (3rd class-ism)  over excellence (1st class-ism). No wonder the whole BRT, and transportaion issues in Lagos, was poorly concieved and 'third-class-ically' implemented. When you allow '3rd class-tic' brains to run something, you should not expect a '1st-class-tic' result, or should we?

After all, you cant give what you dont hand.
Excuse you? Do u just wanna hear urself? Point is: not all those with 3rd class or 2nd lower are slow. Some of them re quite intelligent & can compete wit our so-called 1st class or 2.1 nowadays, in a country where u're given a result u dont merit and are failed if u dont behave like the 'joneses'.
