Lol. Listen to Bago. Some of us, as we did in 2022 to insist North will support Tinubu to win, told The fans of Northern supremacist and born-to-rule hegemonists, like Aminda etal, that young and ambitious serving Northern politicians, with eye on greater future political office/greatness, will never do "abobaku" for the selfish ambition of Atiku. Rather, regardless of their private feelings about Tinubu, they will work to ensure he returns in 2027 so that the partnership, especially with Yorubas, that guarantees equitable and rancour-free power transition between the North and South is maintained for the sake of their own future ambition and not because of any special love for Tinubu or Yorubas. Politics is a game of permanent interest, at least for political stakeholders, and not blind devotion to ethno-religious dogma Atiku and ADC are trying invoke. |
LegendHero:Leadership, especially when it is the sort focused on getting results and delivering societally progressive changes , should not be about automatically and uncompromisingly fighting those perceived as enemies to a standstill as our SE brethren believe is the only way. Great leaders have the expansive minds, because they see ideas and the bigger picture, to understand all others, even if political opponents, may be useful towards the effort of leading people and nations into great success. |
Bluntemperor:It can't be any other way because all progressive and well-meaning leaders, with no primordial hate issues against others, recognise Tinubu as the strongest and most able Southern President who has the sagacity to overcome the retrogressive bullying of the North to the glory of every corner of our nation to include even the North also. But for illiteracy and lack of Political sophistication would most Northerners not naturally appreciate and support a leader like Tinubu who uncompromisingly insist on doing what is right for Nigeria and all Nigerians whereas their own kinsmen leaders have impoverished them and damned their fate to being one of the people with the worst human development index in our universe. The North needs at least 50 Awolowos to rise yet they have thousands of Malami, Atiku, Bala Mohammed, Tambuwal etal . Are intelligent and progressive leaders like Soludo, exposed to world best standard practices, on the same emotional and intellectually stunted level many Nigerians have imprisoned themselve in, because of ethno-religious bigotry, to not see what is obvious and then fanatically pitch tent with Tinubu they view as capable of being a modern father and crucial reformer of Nigeria? |
Sunshine34:When have some people ever stopped wishing death debilitating diseases and misfortune upon Tinubu? One of them, a Pastor for that matter, said that Remi Tinubu should have poisoned Jagaban to prevent him being sworn in as President. In his shallow and hateful mind, the murder of Jagaban would have led to Obi's automatic declaration as President of Nigeria in 2023. Soludo is not their type of leader at all. look at those they have followed zealously since time immemorial, to include Kanu plus Ekpa and even Peter Obi etal today, to note why sensible Igbos flee the SE and remain away from the region permanently. |
ElSudani:💯% correct. Look at where an historical and emotional predisposition for following hate preachers has gotten them in their misadventures with Azikiwe, Kaduna, Nzeogwu, Ojukwu , Kanu, Ekpa etal. They never support moderate Igbo, like Soludo and Umahi, who advocate productive, respectable and equitably productive engagement with others for the benefit of all in a society. They prefer hate preachers, covetous usurper and malevolent expansionists, perhaps because that is what majority of them are, who tell them the world is their own to dominate and others are evil for standing in the way of Igbo "dominating" others in their land. As it is now, I am sure they are reporting "Efulefu" Soludo to their deity in Okija shrine for instant punishment. |
Penguin2:It really is amusing how some of you like to disgrace yourselves publicly as lacking knowledge. Simple ability to use Google image to search the root origin and match for an image, that would have shown you date stamp of August 12 2025, you do not have. Yet you lot will sit online all day mocking Nigerian leaders as "illiterates" you insist you can do better than. In your mind, bro. In your mind alone you are Einstein while Tinubu and others leading you are just " lucky or privileged dullards" or "abetted monopolist" in the case of the likes of Dangote etal.
|
Of course Soludo admires Tinubu and identifies with the progressive ideals of Mr.President. All progressive Southerners, wherever they are from, do. As simple as that. |
DeepSight:Prove he is corrupt bro. I don't have time for conjecture and market women dem say dem say. Pragmatically sound and critical-thinking folks don't use opinions of individuals as factual validation of anything. Unless you can prove any claim you make, I don't want to hear it. |
Raskimonojendor:Correct bro. Some people are typical Nigerians with how they praise prosecution of opponents and cry witch hunt when it is one of their own facing the music. This alone shows the nature of President Atiku will be. |
This is another proof Atiku will be a terrible president. Why preemptively announce innocence or guilt? All genuinely dedicated leaders know that, regardless of personal opinion, they must always show public respect for the rule of law. This just shows the patently lawless nature of Atiku same way he disgrwcefully insisted Akpabio has a history of sexaully harassing women based on the unproven allegation of Senatoe Lie-Tasha. Na wa. |
Lawalemi:I don't think anyone has clained Nigerians are now enjoying 24 hours stable power daily. Talk is about considerably improving power supply and not developed nation 24/7 supply. |
Jamsam:My Oga and esteemed member of D & G gang (doom and gloom) hydropower accounts for only 12 to 17% of power supply with up to 86% of power we use from fossil fuel i.e natural gas. How does what you put up above make sense? Is it not better to give credit where/when due than speak to appear as an enemy of progress? |
gidgiddy:You are chasing your own tail like a Dog does in futility. Ibom Air and ValueJet chose disciplinary options, for customer offences, totally at their own discretion. Cry all you want but that is the end of the story. https://www.channelstv.com/2025/08/12/kwam-1-unlike-ibom-air-valuejet-did-not-press-charges-against-fuji-singer-ncaa/
|
Most sensible people have condemned the antics of KWAM 1. Credit to him also that he apologised unreservedly. Yet, he did not physically assault anyone as the lady did against more than one staff of Ibom Air. It has been explained to you rabble rousers that Ibom Air, as is their prerogative, chose to prosecute the lady for assaulting their staff while ValueJet, as is their right also, did not wish to prosecute KWAM 1 for his offence. Case closed and una go cry tire. https://www.channelstv.com/2025/08/12/kwam-1-unlike-ibom-air-valuejet-did-not-press-charges-against-fuji-singer-ncaa/

owobokiri:Lol. Most people in public or prominent jobs/offices have opps. If your opps catch you lacking, and gain dirt to use discrediting you, then that is on you. You don't cry like a baby when opponents expose you same as you live your entire life doing to them. This is the case with Rufai Oseni the nauseating hypocrite. Only your sort will not understand the concept of "live by the gun ......" |
9jatriot:Lol. As Burna Boy famously stated " last last, e don cast, na everybody go chop breakfast" we have made for ourselves as a hypocritical people always gaslighting others for what we are all guilty of as a society. I personally know many Nigerian leaders in political leadership and public administration always forming Saint with their public utterances yet are horrid people and bullies, in private, who view ordinary Nigerians as "riff Raffs". Conversely too, many ordinary Nigerians passionately hate the rich and successful and view them as the root of all their problems. |
SocialJustice:This is the core problem. Majority of them are the problem of Nigeria because they fake care and concern for Nigeria yet do not have a single iota of leadership talent in them and are actually only addicted to the slush fund free government and politics money is. They will attack and insult to death anyone preventing them access to such easy 'no sweat' government lottery funds. |
Lanretoye:Precisely. All of a sudden, they have found their voices to be attacking Yoruba people and Tinubu merely because an independent-minded Southerner, as he is allowed to do and as Buhari had the freedom to do, is leading Nigeria independently without kowtowing to their "give us all the cash" dictates. Personally, I am loving all this born-to-rule, supremacist and hegemonistic arrogance from the likes of Babachir Lawal, Malami, Atiku etal. I even love how Atiku, a Fulani, arrogantly contested to be President in 2023 and replace another Fulani who had spent 8 unbroken years in power. Had he won, that would be a possible 16 unbroken years of one ethnic group leading three major others and around 400 smaller ethnicities. All we are seeing should be the cue for Tinubu and other progressive Nigerians to understand that 'one Nigeria'' is a scam we must do everything to free ourselves of. |
shortgun:😂😂😂 Coming from a Northerner ba? Do you people know the reality of Nigeria today ,i.e one of the most terrorised nation in the world, and those responsible? Imagine the devil trying to gaslight Jesus only to receive applause from a lunatic audience. Perhaps Babachir Lawal should tell us the problem with Fulanis and other Northerners so that we can use a 2000 page post on NL can accommodate the list. |
Ritchiee:Don't mind them. Human decency, even if they do not like Yorubas, should lead most of them to castigate the utterances of a desperado hailing from , by far, the most problematic region of Nigeria today that is an existential threat to our nation currently. Yet they will support Northern born-to-rule gaslighting of the SW and Yorubas the most exemplarily peaceful and socio-economically successful region and people of Nigeria, along with the SS, Nigeria should be grateful to for keeping our from becoming Somalia x 5. Imagine if we take the SW, SS and Middle belt out of Nigeria so that IPOB SE can fully face terrorist North? The result would make Rwanda ethnic genocide appear like childplay. We have seen them, several times, become murderous menaces to each other. Yet both region continues attacking the SW today. Your message of "let love lead" can never resonate with souls that are ungrateful, envious and hateful by nature. |
kingbee90:You and Babachir Lawal demonstrate the patent ethno-religious hatred and envy against others inherent in many Nigerians. If Babachir lawal has any shame, should be attempting to discredit the Yorubas who are a pillar today, via standing out for the right reasons, of all that is good about Nigeria while his people and region are those threatening to transform our nation into Somalia, Mali, Afghanistan and the most terrorised nations on earth. Have you seen Nigeria's position on the list of most terrorised nation globally? Na Yoruba cause that wahala of The core North and SE? Can any lady be stoned and burnt to death in the SW by violent and uncontrollable religious fundamentalists, as happened to Deborah in the North? Northern unskilled Labour, looking to escape their region of death and hunger plus lack of opportunities, have taken over the SW. Yet the Yorubas cannot migrate the other way in so-called 'One Nigeria' that really should be tagged "unfair Nigeria". That tragedy against the Yorubas is not enough for arrogant and born-to-rule Babachir Lawal to consider simply because he is now out of power and without 'food'. Yet you, a Southerner who should have the human decency to know better, are backing the idiotic talk of Babachir Lawal against a people Nigeria would do well to appreciate for giving our nation the little positive reputation and glory she still enjoys today. This is why Yoruba "ronu" consciousness is gaining ground today amongst a people who know they are more than pulling their weight in the 'one Nigeria' unity while some continue to act like ungrateful and entitled brats despite being the ones, with their actions and inaction, driving Nigeria towards the edge of collapse. |
KingRabota:I agree with your main point. Nigeria is a beautiful nation in itself but we need to do more to sell her leisure, tourism and hospitality potentials to ourselves first and then foreigners. Travelling safely and securely, to explore the geographical beauty of Nigeria, is near impossible today. We have a lot of work to do to improve hospitality and tourism in Nigeria. We have the beautifully diverse landscape and culture that lovers of travel and tourism will appreciate but many problems has turned Nigeria to a nation where enjoying the beauty of the land, and her human culture, is now a low priority to most. |
Lanretoye:Na wa OOO. Unrealistic supporters indeed. Obidients are fundamentalist hardliners. Tell them Obi is Jesus reincarnated and they will spread that nonsense worldwide. |
Ance4Liverpool:Lol. So Obi was rigged into third place by APC and PDP ba? Make it make sense. |
Lol. Gaslighting the sentiments and ego of Igbos is the new Game of thrones all Northerners are playing currently. Babachir Lawal is now telling us that Atiku, his current paymaster rigged the election to come second since Obi "won" ba? It will be amusing to see how things play out so long as some don't blame Yorubas, as they usually do, after their bad choices and "anyone but Yoruba" alliance has blown up in their faces. |
Shawarmagirl:Not denigrating Obi at all. 2027 is above his level. The only southerner who can face and subdue the desperation of Northern supremacist and born-to-rule hegemonists, who believe all of us are their slaves, is Tinubu. It is as simple as that. No disrespect to Obi that those sort of Northerners don't respect let alone fear. |
DeepSight:No na. He is saying it is improving. Why are Nigerians so quarrelsome all the time as if you never get laid, are never happy and and have no chills at all? |
Kemetian:God bless you baba. You got it spot on. I am a huge fan of Tayo Aina the travel blogger. He has opened eyes to the hidden beauty of African nations to the extent many can see that a holiday to Tanzania can be much cheaper and more rewarding than a trip to London or New York. |
KingRabota:We do but if you want a change, in the spirit of holidaying or partying away from home, then explore another African nation. To me, doing such presents a richer experience than going to the usual and clichéd spots like UK, USA, France, Dubai etal |
Shawarmagirl:How can you say Jonathan is "good"? He was President for 5 years that he spent capitulating to the North and hiding behind the curtain when even lowly Northerners barked at him. Fuel subsidy he could not end. Forex black Market brigandage of Nigeria that illiterate Northerners were using to become billionaires, at the expense of the Nigerian people and economy, he could not end. What exactly was he good for? Obi is even worse. Already begging the North he will sign any document committing him to doing a term alone. When push came to shove, Tinubu came out fighting, damned the consequences and called out Buhari publicly to the extent the then PMB was so shook he broke protocol to show the world he voted for Tinubu in his Katsina ward. When the APC chairman at the time, a Northern supremacist determined to scheme out Tinubu, announce Lawan as the Party's consensus candidate, Tinubu showed up at his house to tell him off. That was what his warning of "emilokan" was about. A warning to Northern supremacists who want to monopolise power dishonorably at the expense of Southerners who had done the needful for them and Buhari. These are real brave and relentless power moves above the pay grade of the Obis and Jonathans of the world. Wike can move like that but never Obi or GEJ. I'll reveal a golden rule of leadership every political or business leader tries to use. "If you have what others want, never make the first offer". When you do that you may have sold yourself short because the other Party may be thinking of giving you a higher offer. That is the case with Obi. If truly leadership material then he should confidently stand his ground and insist the North back him. Yet he rushed to shown the North he is a cowardly puppet grovelling already when others are yet to show their hand. You people are emotionally addicted to making your inadequate heroes, like Ojukwu and Kanu etal, 'supermen' when they don't measure up well against others. Tinubu of course, and in contrast to Obi who is not a brave or natural leader, knew he was the strongest Southerner, with real clout and support, the North cannot afford to upset and of course he leveraged on that to insist "emilokan". Same as Wike too warned PDP Northerners "I cannot be second class in my own nation" after they ganged up to cheat him of the PDP ticket. Both Tinubu and Wike ended up winners while GEj and Obi are losers and always will be. Today Atiku and co have fled PDP for Wike because he set a precedence with his refusal to bow to them. The likes of Fayose, Makinde etal gained inspiration from Wike to defy Fulani imperialism. Ditto Tinubu who is now the APC supremo. Whereas Obi flees from one Party to another never able to make a mark or impression anywhere he goes. A glorified boy boy.. History does not lie for those who pay attention to it and never manipulate it as you guys try to do for Obi. |
Moroccoguy:Brilliant post. Obi and Jonathan are cowardly Southerners who should never use the slot of the South. Put Wike up and I dey gidigba behind him. For now, as you stated, we back Tinubu to keep demystifying the North because that is what is best for Nigeria and even the North itself. |
Scarrr:100% correct. The only thing I would add is that wealthy Nigerians should consider African location more for their parties, weddings, engagement bdays etc. Like Mauritius, Madagascar, The Seychelles, Kenya etc. Some truly beautiful and stunning nations in Africa and we should promote ourselves as Africans. |
