They can solve the problem. It is the deadlock or impasse between the North and South that is the problem.

Interests are different. Legislators from the North and South will never be able to vote unitedly and progressively in the interest of what is best for Nigeria.

This is why Tinubu is a great President. It is near miracle-level talent that has seen him achieve all he has so far such as development commissions for every region, local government autonomy, fuel subsidy removal, tax reforms, NELFUND, floating of Naira etc, etc because opposition to those progressive solutions would have been massive and serious.

You can see, below, Senate leader Opeyemi Bamidele assuring that the issue of regionalism was not part of the ongoing review of Nigeria's constitution because he knows the topic literally makes the North see red. The article even confirms Senators from the North vehemently opposed all talks of regional form of governance.

Southern and Northern Senators on Saturday disagreed over the agitation for the reintroduction of a regional form of government in Nigeria.

The Senators spoke sidelines of the ongoing two-day retreat of the Senate Adhoc Committee on Constitution Review in collaboration with the Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) in Kano.

While some senators from the northern part of the country who spoke on the issue vehemently opposed it, some of those from the south, described it as a welcome development that would improve the economy, tackle insecurity and fast-track infrastructural development. The Red Chamber through the Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, has however assured Nigerians that the issue of regionalism was not part of the ongoing review of nation’s constitution.

See my response to CodeTemplar above and stop letting your personalised hatred of others lead you to attacking them blindly.

Whatever your views of me, and I don't care what they are, I am a progressive, peace-loving and solutions-driven individual who wants the best for Nigeria.

Leaders are bot the problem. The structure is. This is why many progressive Nigerians shout "restructuring" daily and have been doing that for decades since the days of Awolowo yet it has not happened.

It is obvious why clearly identified Solutions, that can assist Nigeri become developed, are not being implemented.
PoliticsRe: My Findings In Peru on Drug Allegation Against Peter Obi - Omokri by WizardOfNG: 9:37am On May 22
CodeTemplar:
what aspect of the structure is flawed.
We need true fiscal federalism and sincere restructuring of Nigeria. That this has not happened is not because Nigerian leaders are dumb or incompetent.

It is not happening because the North and South are adversarial and have very different interests and beliefs.

Meaning our legislators will never vote to do the right thing. Literally every day all progressive Nigerians shout we must change the regressive 1999 constitution yet legislators pretend to be deaf. I am sure you know why.

The article below, detailing disagreement between Northern and Southern legislators, says it all.

If I were to describe it, I will it is a problem of light and darkness balancing each other out with non being able to win. Meaning light, obviously better, has to be frustrated by darkness.

Trust me bro, the solutions are known and easy to implements. The North-South dichotomy is the enemy of those solutions being delivered af not leadership cluelessness as most Nigerians simplistically believe.

You people should quit with this infantile and bigoted gaslighting. Prove the real and verified capacity of Obi or any other Igbo to be Nigeria's messiah instead of just blackmailing the biggest black nation on Earth, every day, that it is only an Igbo who can deliver Nigeria.

You've done this for 7 decades now and even caused a civil war because of your megalomaniac predisposition.

Yet is the SE paradise to validate your claim only you lot have the solution? The SE is the most shunned, most intolerant , least immigrant friendly and most mono-culture region of Nigeria.

Do you know what these simple facts show about you guys yet you keep insisting you are messiahs?

How can you claim to be the ones possessing the best capacity to lead Nigeria forward when, unlike Yorubas, you cannot even create egalitarian and vibrantly cosmopolitan societies in any of your five States Nigerias would prioritise moving to as most Nigerians now head to the SW and SS daily to begin new lives?

Far from it. People are fleeing the SE and Obi's Anambra daily for Lagos and the SW never to return. You guys should learn to respect others and understand they are not fools even if indoctrination in your communities lead you to believe you were created to dominatewhen ther is not a single factual proof that is the case.

Nigeria's Presidency is not Obi's level. Obi cannot even be a local Government chairman in very competitive and 'loaded' districts in Lagos. Is Gbajabiamila the mate of Obi?

Obi's messiah worship just shows how we have a serious problem of ethnocentric animosity, desperation and resistance to each other in Nigeria.

If not, can't Igbo find a better candidate instead of this failure they are now trying to rewrite history and present as Awolowo, Mandela and Kwame Nkrumah rolled into one?

Their mission is of course to gain ethnic political profit from demonizing "Yoruba President" and I have seen many of them have commented on this thread.

Intelligent Nigerians can note how Atiku has only spoken recently to condemn an air strike attack on a market in the North intel has shown is a terrorist hub.

Unless I missed it, has he commended the government for the 'neutralising' of the ISIS second in command worryingly living and operating freely in Northern Nigeria? What of Obi?

Does Atiku, Obi and many others behave as if they are seeking solutions or like cynical and calculated political opportunists? Who knows what some of them are doing underground?

We host a congregation of people who are the biggest enemies of each other yet keep pretentiously smiling in public talking of 'one Nigeria' while scheming murderously to gain advantage over over.

The North and South are very different. If you consider the lack of sincerity of Northern leaders to tackle insecurity, perhaps because they are tacit supporters and sponsors of it, you truly believe even Jesus, as Commander in Chief, can resolve the aspect of this battle many of you don't factor in?

I.e the ideological sympathy bandits and terrorists enjoy in the North West all never talk about?

Gumi is always presenting bandit and terrorist killers as victims the system let down. While Gumi is outspoken, how many think like him yet never publicly announce they are sympathetic towards bandits and terrorists?

Do you know the number of Northerners, leaders and ordinary people and even military personnel, supportive of bandit and terrorist to then be abetting them daily?

Insecurity is not ending until Northerners, at all levels, want it to. Deal with that reality and stop decieving yourselves.

This time they will be more ruthless trying to plunder Nigeria and steal trillions because Tinubu has shown the world Nigeria can aspire to be progressive and seek first world development.

Yes, because Northern elites and leaders are the biggest political benefactors and sponsors of insecurity.

They are the most wicked and oppressive leaders in the world in my opinion and I have stated it tirelessly that Nigeria must take them to task if our nation is to move forward.

The Whole Nigeria just keeps indulging them. USA intelligence network is lit. I believe Trump understands what Tinubu is as a Southern leader of a nation fraught with internal and deadly sabotage of itself through ethno-religious animosity yet PBAT continues to deliver results and get his ways.

USA distinctly complained of Buhari's hesitance to allow them help Nigeria fight terror. Today, since 1999, they are getting never-before-seen cooperation and approval from the PBAT Government in an allied partnership.

Right now, I am almost 100% sure the world is thinking "who else but Tinubu" giving how Nigeria's importance to the developed world has jumped up because of our oil and gas endowment in a period access to energy seems to be a critical game changer and bargaining chip.

We will handle it. Once State/regional policing is in place then best believe SW is marching forward at the speed of light.

As things stands, those who want Nigeria's security architecture unmodernised, non intelligence-based, and without DNA-centric optimised capacity to destroy crime, will always get success.

Stop fooling yourself and attempting to decieve others because you are desperate to see an Igbo Presidency. Intelligent Nigerians know the solutions. They also know why those solutions are not been implemented as quickly as possible.

Nigeria's major woes did not start in 2023, when PBAT became President, and won't end when he leaves.

Our challenges will only get resolved when intelligent Nigeria commit to consistently learning the nature of our problems and supporting the medium to long term solutions needed to make our nation a developed one.

Did Tinubu cause the cancer? If I take time to explain the problem of the power sector and show you factually that the regime of GEJ and Buhari ran up trillions of Naira in debt to generation and distribution companies they irresponsibly failed to pay would you agree they were wrong and created a big problem for Tinubu that our current President must not be blamed for?

No. Because , like most Nigerians, you are not innately reasonable by nature. Most Nigerians can never put themselves if the shoes of other and be empathetic.

Additionally, if I factually show you it is Tinubu, of all past Presidents, that has now put together a 3.3 trillion Naira repayment plan to clear debt destroying our power sector, others before him ran up, I can bet you will still be attacking Tinubu as the cause of our electricity woes while praising GEJ or even Buhari and demanding they returns as President.

This huge problem they left for Tinubu in the power sector applies to virtually every other critical sector.

Buhari sold crude on IOU contracts Tinubu has to pay by supplying Nigerian crude his government cannot get a kobo for because Buhari and his crew had collected hideous amount of money upfront with Nigeria obligated to supply crude in future. Tinubu's government had been massively set-up by all previous Government since 1999.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Unveils Economic Rescue, Security Plans At ADC Screening by WizardOfNG: 8:54am On May 21
Atiku has nothing to offer. A man who is not honourable or fair-minded can never be a good President of Nigeria.

People should forget all this manifesto crap. I can use AI, in 10 seconds, to create a manifesto that will wow all Nigerians.

OBJ has told us about the self-centred nature of Atiku and nothing has changed. Same man tried to replace his fellow Fulani, Buhari, who had been in power for 8 years meaning Fulanis could have ruled for 16 year uninterrupted had Atiku won in 2023.

Who does that in a badly divided nation where men of integrity, and leaders who mean well for Nigeria, must sacrifice for the greater good?

Power has to rotate between North and South because both regions are adversarial even as Nigerians won't want to admit that fact and keep fooling themselves with fake 'one Nigeria' unity.

Additionally, where are Atiku's private effort to improve the plight of Northerners? SW Leaders that formed and funded Amotekun needed the Presidency to do that?

If Atiku is a great leader then it will be obvious because leaders do not need office to lead since leadership is about delivering solutions. Atiku has been seeking to become President for decades now.

I need someone to show me a pivotal solution he has delivered for his Adamawa State let alone his Northern region.

Does he need the Presidency to form solutions consortiums, consisting Northern leaders in every field of endeavour, for security and socio-economic profress for the North given how troubled the region is?

What difference can such a character make as President when we have never seen him making effort to be a solutions provider?
