Jakarta:What I continue to be amused about is how these people think Tinubu is playing. Atiku does not even stand a chance let alone Obi. Tinubu is a leader even military generals and heads of State (Buhari, Obasanjo, Yakubu Gowon etal) fear and respect. Do people understand what it takes for Nigerian Military generals to fear civilian leaders? That is elite level Tinubu has earned, because of his many spectacular and unmatched achievements, Obi can never achieve. After Tinubu bounced OBJ and his PDP from the SW, and then helped Buhari become President after three failed attempts, dude became a living legend. Obi is a kid next to PBAT. Atiku still fit shake body small but him sef no reach. |
Justnation:Okay na. Remember the noise of "Fulani will never rule Nigeria again", on social media circa 2014, because you believed you owned Nigeria under Jonathan and you had finally arrived? Lol. You lot and your emotional noise are so predictable. |
DomPerignon:Lol. Obidients are the most delusional supporters in history. If their Oga at the top tells them Buhari has risen and is living in Burundi, they will believe that and begin spreading the garbage worldwide. Wishing you a happy weekend bro. |
@OP. Your data and your time. Feel free to waste both on flights of fantasy. |
Chijeep:Of course I understand your use of "if". My point remains that it is not even a possibility for Atiku to step down and support Obi. Atiku ran in 2023 to replace Buhari, his fellow Fulani who had been in power for 8 years. Meaning it could be 16 unbroken years for Fulanis had he won. Do you understand what that reveals about Atiku's level of desperation and disregard for Southern Nigeria? Look at how arrogantly Atiku is even talking today gaslighting Obi and other Southerners that they should join him to depose Tinubu because no ticket with a southern Presidential candidate can defeat Tinubu. Imagine Atiku is saying this in a period that should be the turn of the South. Obi did the right thing. Southerners should show pride for themselves. Nigeria can only begin to develope if we stop indulging the wrongdoing of the North and their refusal to be progressive. |
lightwind:Whatever. January 2027 not far. |
Chijeep:Lol. Atiku withdraw and support Obi how? Seems like you don't understand the nature of Atiku and other born-to-rule Fulani supremacists and hegemonic imperialists like him. It is all or nothing for those sort and I don't get you Southerners and your naivete. |
Mitsurugi:You've got it wrong. I am not blaming Obi for anything. I am actually praising him for doing the right thing. Atiku should never be President of Nigeria when it is the turn of the South. |
waledeji:Precisely. Sycophancy and hero worship of abject mediocrity is in the nature of many Nigerians. This is why we have the nation we do when we should be so much more succesful. |
Memphis357:Whatever. You're clearly not a Lagosian. |
Kdon2:Lol. Was about to say same when I saw your post. Obi failed in Anambra. No way to spin that fact. |
Lol. These people always thinking dem be Joromi. Oya na, Do your worst once Obi loses which is 💯% guaranteed. It will simply be another big loss for you lot who are yet to quit crying over the civil war and the jailing of Kanu. |
Linzo:Keep deluding yourself. Jan 2027 ie not far. |
duro4chang:Don't mind them. It is even influential Northerners that will help Tinubu win easily. It is the turn of the South to lead Nigeria. Nothing for Atiku. |
Peacecore:At least you are pragmatically truthful. I respect that. Atiku is screwed and I am so happy. |
PulaPower:Indeed. Over 30 Governors. 2027 done deal for PBAT. Jokers can continue deluding themselves. Dem no dey telli person my bro. Dem eyes go clear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOTT9vZ8liA?si=MCnsfpClPPy7cTlJ |
If Obi cannot keep two of his most visible loyalists under one political roof, how does he hope to hold together a national coalition of governors, senators, regional blocs, and competing ambitions? This is the real weakness of the Obidient movement: plenty of passion, little coordination; plenty of loyalty, weak structure. Everybody says they are following Obi, yet they are following him into different parties. That is not strategy. That is confusion. A man who can inspire people but cannot align them may win applause, but he will struggle to win lasting political order.Well-said. Obi and Atiku are the same. Neither of them send anything or anyone. They are both only focused selfishly on their own needs. They have nothing to offer as leaders because they care about no one but themselves whereas leadership is essentially about managing everything and everyone well. What is saving Tinubu today, ensuring the North cannot mess him up as they did GEJ, is that PBAT invested in so many people, and showed genuine dedication to their progress, to include Northern leaders. People do not forget that. Even in my own life, I always remember friends who stood for me when it was me and my God alone. I can't do those people any wrong ever. Obi and Atiku are not the sort to take interest in others. They don't give a damn. Both cannot and will not lead Nigeria. |
PigTormentor:Brilliant post. Love the bolded. 👋🏾👋🏾 |
davidodiba:You're getting me wrong. A man's worth, especially if he is a leader, has to be quantified by the good he does towards others and how he is an asset to his society. All this fake humility Obidients accentuate about Obi, because they wish to use that to detract from the fact he is empty as a leader, is bogus. Lee Kuan Yew who transformed the fortunes of Singapore, to make her a developed nation, dey serve food at functions or carry bags of others up and down? Xi jinping nko? He has been a hugely successful and transformation leader of China. What aspect of his efficiency is related to serving food at Parties or carrying the bags of ordinary Chinese folks? You guys should get real. Transformational leadership of nations has nothing to do with the "Mr.Humility" garbage many are trying to attach to Obi. It is about leadership talent and even brutal focus to ensure everything is done to secure better lives for citizens That is what Tinubu is about even if a some Nigerians cannot see that. |
Ibas3454:Absolutely. Only permanent interest. |
CodeTemplar:He ran in 2023 bruv. Obvious he was going to run in 2027. Obi is pretentious. You know that. His style is always about pretending to be messiah-like and what he is not when he does not even have to do that. |
CodeTemplar:Anyone in the armed forces contesting to be President? Dey get sense na. No be to just talk for the sake of talking alone. |
tesseract:Don't mind them. As if the whole world does know it is control of the wealth of Nigeria that matters to them rather than providing progress for their people and region. |
dotedote:Abramovich is a billionaire Oligarch made by Putin. Of course siezing his asset in the West will logically be seen as a way to prevent Putin's ability to move funds around, through his loyal cronies, that will then enable him to be more effective bullying Ukraine. Very different situation, i.e military aggression against Ukraine leading to war, in comparison to xenophobic attacks against Nigerians and their business interests in South Africa. |
Refinedbeing:Lol. Obi is a joke. Who is he fooling with all this carry bag and serving food stunt? Simply the diversionary antics of a con artist who believe Nigerians are simpletons easy to decieve. He does all that crap because he has no spectacular legacy achievements that will outlive him as Tinubu and others, like Akpabio and Donald Duke etal, have many to parade. |
Peter Obi has won the election for Tinubu. Tinubu was always going to win but things have now shaped out for his stress-free and easy win as opposed to him battling a united Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso triumvirate. |
ukukaegbu:Read the article. It is commonsense admission. Ohanaeze stated that any serious presidential ambition must be anchored on a platform with nationwide appeal, organizational strength, and the capacity to mobilize majority support across all geopolitical zones. |
Lol. Is this anything newsworthy? Who does not know Obi is finished with his NDC misadventure? |
Counterigbolies:Don't mind him. |
izombie:You can't gaslight anyone. Go and vote for your candidate. Leave others to vote as they please. Democracy bro. |
