We4all:Does not matter. He is a horrid person. Simple. Deji Adeyanju is representing the assaulted driver. That Nigga will show this arrogant HOR member shege. I am happy na Deji. |
Kobojunkie:I agree with this. Not cool to denigrate anyone for being physically different to others. It is not different to mocking the disabled. His Albinism has nothing to do with him being a horrid human being which is what the public, especially his constituency, should focus on. |
SmartPolician:You must be insane calling our President a thug. You people are uncouth by nature but watch yourself. Be very careful and guided. You will see what I mean. |
kettykin:He was not poisoned. Nothing untowards. He has health challenges that will impact his fitness for the job. That happens. Tinubu's Presidency is strong and well-supported. There is no power lacuna regardless of rumours mischief-makers put in the public domain. |
LegendHero:He is unlikely to return due to fairly serious health challenges. Major General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede is a meritoriously good choice. |
Sweeetheart:True. In every nation of the world outside Africa, especially in the West, black South Africans take a back seat behind Nigerians. |
Sweeetheart:I am even disgusted Nigerians go to SA but I know Niggas have to hussle and eat. I have no problem with them dealing with criminals Nigerians in their nation but the hounding of this girl is too much. You hounded her out. Nigeria took her in. Done. Let it go graciously. That is what decent people woukd do. Not so for the worst xenophobes in the world who want to always lynch and eat fellow Negroes while serving white plantation masters. More a case of transferred hate and bile against a nation they wish to actualize through humiliating Chidinma and, by extension, Nigeria. That is how the weakest black folks, from the most slavish African nation, behave. South African blacks are pathetic. A disgrace to black folks worldwide. |
ObiPandora:Have you dealt with the 'Uncle Tom' psycophancy in the soul of most South Africans that makes you feel whites are to be worshipped while your fellow blacks are your enemies to hound and kill? |
chopnaira:I know. I am a student of history and culture. Yorubas love their Itsekiri brethren because we have ancestral Yoruboid links. Reno is a very bright dude. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itsekiri_people |
Borrow222:So, why are you bothered enough to comment about affairs concerning our "shit hole"? Why don't you enjoy your 'paradise' , wherever it is, jejeli and leave Nigerians alone? |
Alliswell248:Don't mind him. Frustration, borne of envy of others, na bitch. |
Armaggedon:Kai. Pure and undiluted painment. I love witnessing IPOB tears, frustration and foaming at the mouth over Yoruba matter.😎 When Yorubas and South Africans, as an example, contribute 90% of the prime content for Netflix Africa's contribution to the global platform, where is the low self esteem of such a dominant people who are out breaking records and new ground while you and yours are worshipping a man-child in Finland and a former London Yahoo boy? |
Augustine2244:Are some of you guys living on Mars? Many Nigerian ladies are now casually bisexual. Fact 100%. Unless your not socially active to note this. As far as they are concerned, It is their body and their choice. Social media, exposing Nigerians to what is going on worldwide, has changed dynamics forever. Tiwa saying women hit on her does not mean she is bi or lesbian. She is just saying bi and lesbian women, of which there are many in Nigeria today, are braver approaching her than men. Which is a shame because she still remains fine @44. Men are probably intimidated to approach her whereas women would hope she is bi so rich Aunty Tiwa can mummy them lol. Nigerian women are gradually becoming more aggressive than men. Only strong men can deal with most Nigerian women today because they are no longer like their mother's generation. |
Reno is an honorary Yoruba now. It is obvious I christen him Aderenola Omokri 😎 |
Rossikk:He is a hoot bro. A bit mischievous but very careful to manipulate and present proven facts to serve a narrative. Omokri works hard to be factually unimpeachable. I doff my hat to him for that. He is almost always impeccable in his delivery of facts. Spin Doctor extraordinaire. If I was Tinubu, na no brainer to deploy Omokri powerfully. |
South Africans. Repellent xenophones and bigots. See how they hound this young lady relentlessly like a bloodthirsty lynchmob yet docile to their white masters. A disgrace to black Africans. Ingrates the rest of black Africa, including Nigeria, sacrificed to free from apartheid. |
Frezhkid10:That's has been verified. Nigeria is fractured. Revelations, such as shown below, reveal that localising efficiency at State and regional level is the way forward. What is the point of enduring with a national power grid, rather than push for autonomous State grids, when bandits in the North, who love prehistoric living conditions anyway, can plunge Nigeria into darkness whenever they wish by attacking power infrastructure? https://dailytrust.com/power-outage-bandits-targeting-shiroros-330kv-lines-for-long-locals/ |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Precisely. The only way forward is to make things more manageable by dismantling federal bureaucracy that makes everything unwieldy and inefficient. Power sector is now fully deregulated. States and regions must take more responsibility for crafting their own power solutions otherwise the "one Nigeria' indolence and inefficiency will continue to overwhelm us all. |
GeneralPula:Precisely. |
Bobloco:You're a petty character. For sure. Yet it would be commendable if you can debunk Omokri's claim on this occasion rather than attack his character frivolously. |
slickgirl:So FRSC now control her counterparts across West Africa? This is a regional initiative. It is not about Nigeria per se. |
bixton:Like I said, I understand your pessimism. We, Nigeria, are a corrupt nation surrounded by other corrupt nations. Yet think about the potentials of this and the biggest potential winners if It works well. I.e ordinary Nigerians. Border checks are a menace and big disincentive to regional trade in West Africa. If standardisation of drivers license and vehicle info is achieves, imagine the advantage for Nigeria. We are the most populous nation in Africa and need export to thrive like the USA, Japan etal. Nigerians can remain in Nigeria and trade internationally , as Americans and Japanese folks do, rather than be 'japa' obsessed. If you can produce an item demanded in Ivory Coast and can then supply to potential buyers there easily, because your company vehicle and Nigerian driver will have easy passage all the way to dropping off your goods at destination, what would this do for your wealth creation potentials? Talk less of the opportunity for many other Nigerians with goods they have limited market for because of challenges trading with fellow West African nations. Do you know this regional cohesion, with trade between West African nations been the biggest motivation, has been an idea existing since the days of Nkrumah, Awolowo etal that black Africans are yet to actualize? In fact we trade easier, although less beneficially, with Western nation than we do with ourselves in a regional set-up. Like I said, I fully accept and understand your pessimism. Yet, this would be great if it can work. In the EU, for example, having all your complaint documents, as a delivery driver, means you can move goods around the Euro zone quickly and efficiently. That is why they are a rich continent and we are not. |
bixton:It won't be the same license and vehicle plate for God sake. It will have national identification but with West African compatibility to facilitate regional trade and even enhance security. A Nigerian registered vehicle and Nigerian driver will still be identified appropriately by Ghanaian or Beninoise police. They will know where the vehicle and driver originate from even if both have compliant West African approval to drive within Ghana and Benin Republic. West African compliant drivers license and vehicle registration just means they will no longer be harrassed and/or extorted, plus possibly detained for hours as is happening today, driving through Ghana or Benin Republic. Are you aware of how similar works in the EU? |
bixton:It seems you did not read what I wrote. This is a West Afrcan initiative and not about our own FRSC alone that must partner with and agree modalities with her equivalent agencies across West Africa. Again, this has worked worldwide. The EU is a good example that has achieved what this scheme want to gain for the West African region. West Africa suffers from very poor standardization of biometric data for individuals and quick identification of vehicles moving across country borders. This is 1940 level we are still at. Undocumented movement of vehicles and drivers across West Africa is a big problem. It is a disincentive to regional trade and an enabler of serious crime and terrorism. I can understand the pessimism but Africa should try and move as the rest of the world has. We cannot remain in 1960 meaning 1960 backwardness, others left behind ages ago, is still our own challenge today. |
casualobserver:Within West Africa, standardized number plates and drivers license, with clear identification of nation of origin of driver and vehicle, will help. You don't get the big picture. You may have a drivers license and vehicle registration that is easily and efficiently identified to make your travel within West Africa more efficient, yet your nation of origin, and even address within that nation, will be known. We already have same with the Nigerian International passport which is ECOWAS compliant. |
bixton:It won't work as you think. Not about FRSC alone. Even the title makes it clear this is about Nigeria and West African nations and many here are talking of FRSC and Nigeria alone. This is a West African initiative so how can it be local to or controlled by Nigeria? It is like being French and having an EU passport. The passport is EU compliant but clearly shows it is for a French subject. Same for other Europeans. Drivers license is same. Only vehicle registration is not standardised. Bottom line is that it is the Eurozone that manages the standardized aspects of free travel of good and services not, for example, France alone. Same as this cannot be anything Nigeria alone will control or even direct. It is a joint regional initiative. I have seen it work and work well first hand. We don't have to begin from a position of pessimism and negativity over everything. Worth looking at the pros of a policy and then workability before dismissing it. IT capacity and DBM (database management) has moved on significantly since the EU came into existence. We have templates to use, I.e the EU ,plus better and more modern capacity to coordinate and manage regional integration. I think it is a good idea. Nigeria will be the big winner. NB, you have got it wrong about Security also. It is like DNA when collated and managed effectively with an efficient DBM system. It enhances security effectively. Cross border banditry, terrorism, human trafficking and general crime is a problem in West Africa. We as Nigerians feel this more than others. Tracking of vehicles and drivers info more efficiently can only help significantly to enhance security. |
tete7000:Yes I agree with you that new schemes may be conduits of corruption in our nation where most dream of Avenues to loot daily but Nigeria alone will not be funding this because it is a regional scheme. Also, this idea is good and beneficial for Nigeria because we'd be the biggest beneficiary of better movement of good and services within West Africa. Yes you don't plan to take your car across borders for now but you may actually like the benefit of doing so in future if you have goods and services you wish to reach outside Nigeria or the other way around. I.e goods and services outside Nigeria you wish to reach you. |
tete7000:It is not about Nigeria alone. Keep that in mind. In any arrangement that allows greater free movement of good and services within West Africa, Nigeria will be the big winner. Always. |
bixton:It can work and work well if database accuracy and management is efficient. The bigger picture is that Nigeria stands to gain massively because of our population. The LFTZ, for example, is a free trade zone that will make Nigeria the trading hub of West Africa. With standardised vehicular particulars and drivers license, transport and logistic operators can quickly reach Nigeria from anywhere in West Africa, load up and leave. Massively increasing our potentials for exporting Nigerian goods and facilitating transactions between West African businesses in a free trade zone. |
shedy03:It won't be forced on anyone because it will be automatic issue for new Licence and renewal also. It will State your Country of origin but will carry the status of allowing you to drive anywhere in West Africa. Good idea IMO. Will improve regional trade and reduce corruption significantly as immigration extort drivers who trsvel across West Africa ruthlessly. |
Sultanofpiglets:Lol. You lot are the failures, liars and empty braggarts to boot. Everybody knows that about you people now because we are in the information age. |
Sultanofpiglets:Lol. That silly lie you have been telling yourselves for years remains big proof of your clan delusions of grandeur. |
