You are now delusional. How did you determine their innocence? By looking at their faces or by their word of mouth? Frankice12: |
My thoughts exactly. When you point this out, they start attacking and insulting you. Blocking the road is a hostile act. They will be forming "woke". They don't know the first rule of fighting for rights is not to violate the rights of others tesppidd: |
don't mind them, let them keep being delusional IMAMofWAR: |
Keep living in denial and delusion. There is no ploy. The protest has been hijacked MisterGrace: |
I'm shocked. People are becoming delusional and they don't know it maasoap: |
I just tire. I have told many protesters of the asthmatic pregnant woman that died close to ikeja, she had an attack and was being rushed to the hospital just 15mins away from her house, but was stuck in the blockade for 2hrs, eventually giving up the ghost. I am shocked at the response I get: "so what? Innocent people have to die", "is she better than those SARS have killed?" bla bla bla. These guys are now delusional- no different from the SARS they are protesting against Let nobody come and tell me "peaceful protest". It is no longer peaceful when you infringe on people's rights. maasoap: |
Sex should be natural. Nothing should be done to encourage anybody nwaezeemmanuel: |
Even the real life sex is faked. Most women fake orgasms and moans. |
I agree with you 100%. I am on the same page with you. Cleaning up the system's rot by way of re-orientation and like you said, the youths will be the new cabal politically. This makes more sense than the violence and revolution many are advocating. SmartPolician: |
Thank God there is internet, don't take my word for it. The UN wasn't responsible for the break-up of USSR. The countries themselves that made up the USSR were themselves republics - note, being a republic is even higher than independence (Nigeria got independence in 1960, but didn't become a republic until 3years later). USSR was merely a union of socialist republics. It was after the cold war and capitalism became more attractive, that many of the republics opted out to embrace capitalism. So, there's nothing like UN doing anything. Tokkson: |
I'm happy about these protest across the south and the christian north for one thing: it has finally dawned on the Southern youth that you can't be aloof politically. You can't seek an alternate reality in entertainment and the likes while the north troop out faithfully to vote. The north is more in VOTING numbers, but not actual numbers. Majority of the protesters don't have PVCs. I hope that will change now. There is no need to "burn down Nigeria" or "end Nigeria", or kill ourselves to feel like heroes. Let this movement translate to everyone getting their PVCs and let's occupy the polling stations the way we are occupying the streets to support one of our own. That way we kick out the rogue politicians and have a new dawn that we will be alive to enjoy. |
OP Stop spreading false info. They've not deployed soldiers for the protesters. Those 3 soldiers are just among normal everyday commuters trying to go on their own way. The seeming confrontation is because you blocked the road and infringed on their own fundamental right of free movement. Forget they are wearing uniform, it's no different from the fight some danfo drivers had with the protesters on Tuesday at Alapere over the same road blockade. Protest, but don't block the road |
What's my business with the lifeless one? Back to the topic: There is difference between passing road and blocking road. Nobody is complaining about the momentary inconvenience when your procession passes by on it's way to the destination you want to converge. What we are saying is that the road shouldn't be the destination. If this explanation isn't clear enough, then I take it you deliberately set out to misunderstand Lashist: |
Live these ones, they don't know whatsup. Shebi they think the foreign countries love them so much, the same 'love' they have for the blacks in their own countries abi? Me I'm no longer appealing to anyone again for restraint, when e set, eye go clear. Oracleforce: |
Oga read what I wrote again, this time slowly. Did I say the govt has implemented the demands? Did I say the protests should stop? I'm saying you shouldn't block the roads! Lives depend on those roads. Block govt buildings and establishment, cripple govt activities, not infringing on the rights of your fellow citizens and trying to bully them with insults when they complain Lashist: |
Be insulting everybody that has a divergent view. The democracy you're claiming to be fighting for, you don't know the basic tenet is right to have difference of opinion. You people should continue trying to crowd-bully everyone into submission. You violate the rights of your citizens to free movement. The blood of the asthmatic pregnant woman that died in your blockade in Ikeja is on all your heads. You're now killers same as the SARS you're protesting against. Your fellow citizen will talk, you will say they are sponsored by the govt or govt apologists. When e set, you will know there is a silent majority who aren't high on whatever collective opium you people have smoked. Lashist: |
The other countries they've intervened what happened? Where is Libya, Syria, Somalia and co today after years of UN intervention. Me, I'm not appealing to anyone again for restraint. When e set and we burn down our country, even Togo won't allow you in as a refugee, then it may finally dawn on you that you have no other country to call Your Own. Romanoff: |
The foreign interests are already aligning. They can't wait for us to kill ourselves. Then, even ordinary Togo won't allow us in as refugees. Maybe then, it will sink into our heads that it is only this country we have and no other. Meantime, keep chanting "End Nigeria"! |
They are CIA and they love you so much right? Same way they love the blacks in their own country, right? The love they have for you is so strong they are willing to use their tax payers money on you, right? I'm no longer appealing to anyone for caution. When e set, even Togo won't open border for you to run to AntiBalaka: |
Delusion! ![]() AsiwajuNdigbo: |

More delusion. Glo nko, what was their crime? Did they shut down their airwaves for protesters not to call each other? In case you don't want to face the facts, let me tell you: The telcos and banks have a sync'd customer database which enables for mobile and internet transactions. For these two to be targeted, you do the math. d33types: |
You're guys are now delusional. Na talk be this? d33types: |
You see what I'm saying You're trying to justify her death! Speaking all sorts of grammar to explain it away. How different are you from the wicked politicians? Which one is "lack of effective medical center"? Will they put hospital inside every house? The road was perfectly good. The hospital is close to her, but to get there was the problem cos you blocked the road!! She had a severe attack. A short trip of 15mins was taking 3hrs. You people should continue killing people and justifying it. Tonalphs: |
Some kind kurukere movements don dey play all in the name of protests. First, Gee boys dey use style renew yearly rituals i.e those ones dancing naked. Next na hacking: dem first start with normal govt sites, everybody hail dem... Now dem don enter GSM companies to steal our data and banks to clear our money. Wetin concern SARS with Glo and First Bank? |
Every single life matters, yet an atshmatic pregnant woman being rushed to the hospital around ikeja axis died inside the traffic blockade and couldn't reach the hospital. Blocking the roads makes you guys the same monsters as the SARS you're protesting against. You both have blood on your heads. And the irony is that every protester I've told this woman's story to feels no single remorse sane way the killer SARS are also remorseless WalkerMichael: |
My thoughts exactly. When you say this, they try to crowd bully you with insults. There will be more cases of people using cars to ram into protesters in the coming days. They are not sponsored by anyone. They make their living from the roads. Denying someone his means of livelihood is more than enough motive to kill you. Let's share the road, protesters on one side, other people who wish to go about their lawful activities on the other side. ThatFairGuy1: |
The primary duty of the State is the protection of the fundamental human rights of it's citizens. One of such rights is the right to peaceful assembly. The protesters are exercising that right. It is the duty of the State to provide protection for them and ensure they are safe from hoodlums, criminal elements and even unruly counter-protesters whether sponsored or organic. Another of such rights is the right to freedom of movement. The state has a duty to protect the rights to unhindered movement of citizens who wish to go about their lawful activities at all times. The State fails when it forcibly breaks up protests under the guise of upholding "freedom of movement". The State also fails when it stands back and does nothing when protesters deny other citizens access to public roads thereby violating their rights to free movement cos it wants to be seen as supporting freedom of expression. It doesn't matter who is in the majority at any given time - whether the protesters or the other citizens, the State must ensure simultaneous protection of everyone's rights at all times. |
