Some people make a living on the roads. I'm one of them, I'm a cab driver. You deny them access to their means of livelihood for almost a week. Anyone that complains, you try to crowd bully and insult him. Access to public road is a fundamental right same as right to protest. We can do the two side by side. But una no wan hear, cos you're so emotive.
Even in America, the day after a mass shooting where people are protesting against gun rights, side by side others are protesting for gun rights. They know there's right to dissenting opinions. But here, our pseudo-woke generation, once you don't follow the bandwagon, you're dragged and bullied into silence.

My nephew that did his traditional marriage two months ago, left ikorodu at 10 am for a wedding ceremony that was to start at 2 pm. They got to the brides parent's house at 5 pm.

They are now delusional, becoming the monster they claim to be fighting.

On Monday because of the traffic standstill arising from the protests/blockage at National Stadium, my wife walked about 5-6 kilometers from Eko bridge all the way to Akerele street in Surulere before she could get a vehicle to go and pick my children at school. She got to my children's school 2 hours after the time of closure/agreed pickup time.

In saner climes, they would have been called to order. But in our country, everyone is a law to himself, in the name of protests. While these protesters are under the sun, some of their initial organisers are already cashing out big time under cool A/C at the negotiation table, based on news reports we have heard about Dangote and CBN governor.

An uber driver reported trying to convey an asthmatic pregnant woman to the hospital around the ikeja axis but got stuck in traffic, and they were frantically asking other motorists if anyone is a doctor to do anything and the woman died. What difference is that to the SARS also taking a life? Protest, but at least don't block the roads.

SARS saved my life on two occasions from robbers and one-chance danfo. I support the protest for their reform to weed out bad eggs. Nowhere in my post did I say I didn't. The SARS were given power, they used it to violate citizens rights.
The protesters now have power, they are also using it to violate other citizens rights by blocking roads and denying anyone who wishes to go about his lawful duties access.

Dumbo, SARS have saved my life on 2 occasions: first on my way to Abuja, around ibillo, our Sienna got accosted by Fulani herdsmen, we were saved by the SARS unit close-by who chased them away.
Secondly, I was stranded around ijora badia in the middle of the night, a SARS unit on disguised danfo came by, helped me fix my car and I left the scene. Tell your brothers and boyfriends to go get a life and leave yahoo work. Stupid generation.
