That was some sick sh.t Makavele, General 'Smith's impressed. . . |
First off, i apologize for not adding KRS-1 among the list i put up, not forgetting his massive influence in the 90's. On the 2nd, i'm amused by Sauron using the "Jay-Z got murdered on his own track by Em" argument as a criteria for ajudging him the best rapper alive. If that be the case, Canibus ripped everyone on the Lost Boyz's remix of Music Makes Me High, Lauryn Hill murdered both Wyclef Jean and Pras on How Many Mics?, same with Jadakiss on New York, Canibus and Rakim, in a sense murdered each other on I Bust 'Em, You Punish 'Em, Common on Get Em High, i could have sworn Jean Grae ripped Talib Kweli on Black Girl Pain. . . . my point is. . . you already get it, don't you ? Using who murdered who as an argument is rather weak and crass. . . and laughable ![]() Also, Eminem reply to Canibus' diss is not worth calling a diss if you are a true Hiphop head. Can-I-Bitch follows 50Cent's Still Not Rich, Still Lyin', Lil' Flip's What It Do?, Lil' Romeo's Can't Shine Like Me in the HIPHOP'S DUMBEST/WACKEST DISSTRACKS HALL OF FAME. The fact that he replied 'Bis does not make it a diss, as matta fact, Em's wise and chooses wisely those he battles with a la them Benzino, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, ICPs e.t.c, those weaker lyrically or those that can't do shit. for a fan of Em, your HipHop knowledge is rather limited. . . an Em fan that doesn't know Em got defeated by both Rhymefest and Otherwize and argues with the same vigour you do is sadly amusing. I swear them fools that voted on Vibe magazine's poll were mostly white suburban kids, who have the larger percentage as consumers of Hiphop and altogether Black music. And then Sauron has the audacity to rate Em over greats like Rakim, KRS-1, Kool G Rap, NaS, Kweli, Common Sense, 'Bis, Immortal Technique, Run DMCs, Dead Prez,. . . Someone put a glock to Hiphop's head and really kill it this time. . . |
hi, i would also need some e-books on this programming language, will be taking the course this semester. thanks |
No one's answered my question. . . |
@ kaydee, abeg help me ask am o! Me, i don tire. I'll be back later to post. . . |
Lol and *sigh* put together. . . dude, fact No. 1, Eminem has lost rap battles time and again. Two good examples are the freestyle battles against Rhymefest and Otherwize (in '97). Further, it was proven when Sway interviewed and rhetorically asked Rhymefest on Mtv. The other, he ( Eminem ) admitted in a Rap Magazine in 2003. If you cite his most famous battles a la Benzino, Insane Clown Posse, Everlast etc. . . these cats are not regarded as AND ARE NOT Rap Heavyweights. Preying on their kind isn't battle, that's similar to getting pleasure from anal rape. Have you ever wondered what would be the outcome of an Eminem Vs Common battle? Just ask Ice Cube and the Westside Connection. Or perhaps the outcome of an Eminem Vs Immortal Technique battle? ROFLMAO, no further comment. . . Fact No.2, Eminem has only one classical album, The Marshall Matthers LP, the rest, even by his fans' evaluation are not classics. The next 2 albums were either dissapointing and average or just plain pop crapiness as evidenced in the Just Lose It and Without Me songs |
Yeah, was in school today at the protest. Met with fellow Katangites, errbody was out en masse, the turnout was encouraging. Word out is them fraks eventually reduced the money by 3Gs. Aluta Continua, as they say. . . |
@ Sauron, em, ma guy, Eminem hasn't been consistent as you say. His peak obviously was The Marshall Matthers LP, his only classic, and after that, it was either the average (The Eminem Show) or the outright crappy (Encore) album. NaS on the other hand has TWO OFFICIAL CLASSICS Illmatic and Stillmatic. Albums he has released between and after them have been regarded as near-classics, hell some consider Untitled to be a classic. In a musicians career, and for a rapper, that's one hell of a feat. Besides, on the rap battle scene, Em is overhyped, no thanks to that 8 Mile movie. In the real world, he has been defeated in freestyle battles time and again. . . at least i know of two - by Rhymefest (remember that Brand New song with Kanye West?) and Otherwize at the '97 Rap Olympics. Em came 2nd. @ Flow Show, no comment. . . don't need to. @ bouzymill, ay, howzit goin'? Where u been all this while? |
@ tianshie, Jesus man, you had me crackin' up like clay pots. That sh.t was crazy. ![]() @ Shaz, u said 12:00 GMT, yes? But you DQed them fellas around 9:30, about the same time t-rex was about to drop his verse! |
@ Sauron, Canibus? Step down? ROFL, dude go down the history of every battle 'Bis has been in. . . the dude doesn't back down. The seemin' feud between him and Em fizzled out, not him backin' out. Besides, Eminem's (Can-I-Bitch) reply to Canibus' diss was piss-poor. . . Like Kaydee aptly put it, what if Em was black? Colour does sell, indeed. . . |
Canibus dey there, Kweli dey there, Common dey there, Jadakiss dey there, Rakim dey there, ROFL, NaS dey there, dem no pick those ones, na Eminem dem pick. No b say i no gbadun am, but eminem- best rapper alive ke? |

@ huxley, LOL, look here little man, you can ignore the latter part of my post and go on and on foaming at the mouth about reason this. . . escatholoshadadajangbalajugbu. . . long tin on a kentro level, man . . . it still doesn't take away the fact that you are as much a bigot and hypocrite, same goes for your goon squad.LOL, funny enough, you forgot the slowpoke part when quoting the morally bankrupt statement i made . . . |
@ topic, i had decided a while to stay away from debates and all, but i couldn't help but express my disgust at the term "faith-heads". I find it offensive, derogatory and insultive. Like believers don't reason simply because of their faith. The problem with atheists and their ilk is the fact that they practice exactly what they accuse theists especially Christians of - hypocrisy, insult hurling, disrepect, and the most important of all - bigotry. Perhaps, if i referred to an atheist as a morally bankrupt slowpoke or a fool as the Bible aptly put it, you would see the same goons climaxing with insults. . . arrant nonsense. . . . And yes, i'm annoyed |
48 years and we're still in this bitch/ 48 years and the overgrown toddler still in the ditch/ |
No offence waltt, but that Naeto C's album was the damn wackest piece of shit released this year. Out of 5 mics, i'd rate it 2, and if i want to be lenient, 2.5. As the number of tracks progressed, so does the bullshit. . . damn, so real wack shit, can't believe i wasted N150. . . |
@ n-gauge, good you're looking out for 'em oldies, we've gotta keep to our roots. I used to have a couple of Dr. Victor Olaiya's songs on my PC before a virus crashed the whole system and wiped off all my songs. Oh well, might i suggest Beautiful Nubia? Dude is of this age, but his style, genre is of the Highlife/Juju legends. I especially loved his Jangbalajùgbú album. Look out for his hit song - Òwúrò Lojó. |
ROFL, Vela and Bendtner be omo ale, see as dem take dribble useless Porto defence. even Arsene Wenger gas laff. D match b comedy ![]() |
