Cutting a deal with Tinubu to ensure Supreme Court rules in his favour for the Election Tribunal.
PoliticsRe: Alex Otti Orders Payment Of April Salaries Owed Abia Workers, June Pensions by worksmart(m): 2:03pm On Jul 11, 2023
I like him because he lets it be known the time scale when he would do something by, which means he in inviting people to hold him accountable. So far he has shown to me that he is a talk and do governor. But time would tell how successful he ultimately would be.
CLATHRIN:
He hasn't even paid LGA workers. Na this same thing wey ikpeazu dey do, he go call some mainstream workers and overlook others. That is why Hospital management board, Abia poly, Absu, colleges of education and pensioners are owed months of their remuneration. We have to start calling him out from the onset. He claims to be doing some screening over and over again. Oga if you no want pay people comot go sut down and say you be fellow thief. No dey claim screening for me. The tactic Ikpeazu and every thieving governor employs. He will still do it again months and years to come after installing a certain biometric system to fish out ghost workers. No he the same thing we dey see so? Mtchew. The way I dey vex for this guy for owing my friends and relatives eh, ohhh, make nobody come hear dey praise nonsense and Janta manta. Let him do his work and it will speak for him. As far as I'm concerned, he is just presenting greek gifts.

A mixture of serious and unserious people.

Why is useless Soludo no where to be seen?
PoliticsRe: Alex Otti Orders Payment Of April Salaries Owed Abia Workers, June Pensions by worksmart(m): 10:51am On Jul 11, 2023
So far he has kept all his promises. But you are right we must try to keep our leaders accountable.
NOwazobia:
Please, it shouldn't just end with gave the directive.

Our politicians know how to use gave the directive to score cheap political points.

Come back and tell us if the workers actually received the money by interviewing atleast 10 of them.

Gave the directive has been a propaganda language in our political sphere since the foundation of this dungeon.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Should Lead Anti-corruption Crusade — Falana by worksmart(m): 10:37am On Jul 11, 2023
Focus on the present day Buhari has retired. Hatred of Buhari is blinding you from reasoning properly.
Babzrockman:
Buhari has modernized corruption. We dont want another fake fight against corruption.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Should Lead Anti-corruption Crusade — Falana by worksmart(m): 10:32am On Jul 11, 2023
Falana has exposed himself as a fake human rights lawyer.
Tinubu who turned our CBN Governor into a political prisoner, is being praised by Falana as an anti-corruption crusader.
Falana is corrupt lawyer!
TravelRe: Lagos Airport Runway Light Stolen, Seven Suspended by worksmart(m): 10:20am On Jul 11, 2023
I suspect this is a Tinubu looting strategy, Tinubu's cronies removed the lights, billions would be released by CBN for replacement lights , Tinubu will then fit the old lights back.

This Tinubu is really trying to level up, he must have incurred some huge debts angry

I said last year that Nigerians would soon be looking back on the Buhari era with fondness and nostalgia smiley

You understand why he had locked up Emefiele so he can get control of CBN.
BusinessRe: UK Pounds Sells Above N1,000/£1 At Black Market For 5 Straight Days by worksmart(m):
Wait! There is still black market?

I thought the point of depreciating the Naira was to have a single unified exchange rate . undecided

Tinubu body language is saying corrupt!
PoliticsRe: Fuel Smuggling Persists In Borders Despite Subsidy Removal – Customs Boss by worksmart(m): 9:52am On Jul 11, 2023
So how much is fuel selling in neighbouring countries? If our fuel price is at least 90% of fuel in our neighbours', then it means that fuel being smuggled was stolen from Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Witnessed Worst Corruption Under Buhari – Kukah by worksmart(m): 1:51am On Jul 11, 2023
Write a letter of complaint and send it to Buhari in his farm in Daura.
Why uno still dey carry Buhari for una head?

Irony is most of you can only afford to be online because of the Npower stipends PMB introduced and paid efficiently, or the NYSC pay rise he made.

But seriously, Buhari era is over, he is 80 years old and retired , so focus on the new president and the present day.,
PoliticsRe: South-East Leaders Are Meeting In Abuja To Chart A Way Forward For The Region by worksmart(m): 1:26am On Jul 11, 2023
A bill on secession?
Not in my name biko;
We Igbos are not interested in secession.Do not believe propaganda of IPOB terrorists.
inoki247:
Lol them dey Fear UGM sad shocked shocked

The Fear of UGM is the beginning of Wisdom....

They can all speak in one voice and start a bill on secession instead of speaking through thug that's inflicting pain on dere people and causing insecurity...
PoliticsRe: Oyebanji Congratulates President Tinubu On Election As ECOWAS Chairman by worksmart(m):
Tinubu is not the ECOWAS Chair, Nigeria is the ECOWAS chair just for clarity.
Tinubu just happens to represent Nigeria as our president.
If Tinubu left office tomorrow morning Nigeria would remain the ECOWAS Chair and his successor would attend meetings on behalf of Nigeria.
So congratulating Tinubu as if it was his personal individual appointment is nonsense !

Tinubu's image is so poor that he has to get his cronies to use our media for propaganda to make it seem as if Nigeria's election as chair is Tinubu' election as chair. *SMH*
PoliticsRe: "We Will Not Allow Coup In West Africa Again" - ECOWAS Chairman, Tinubu (Video) by worksmart(m): 9:35pm On Jul 10, 2023
Nigeria is the ECOWAS chair, not Tinubu. Tinubu just happens to be the president of Nigeria so he representing us.

Tinubu's popularity is so low, that his handlers are trying to bolster his image by using our media to present Nigeria's ECOWAS chairmanship as a personal appointment of Tinubu.

Let us just be clear.
PoliticsRe: Former President Buhari Returns To Nigeria From United Kingdom (Video, Photos) by worksmart(m): 1:57am On Jul 10, 2023
The governor at the time was the only person who should know the full security situation on ground and come up with a strategy. But the governor Ortom was more interested with playing politics a lot of Benue people here on NL criticised him for his inaction.
Reference:
If you were a Governor of Benue, exactly what will you do to end the kind of insecurity there.
Kindly answer.
CrimeRe: How Lady Trapped Armed Robber With Sex During Operation by worksmart(m): 8:34pm On Jul 09, 2023
She never trapped , he chose to rape her , then trapped himself. cheesy
PoliticsRe: Former President Buhari Returns To Nigeria From United Kingdom (Video, Photos) by worksmart(m): 8:17pm On Jul 09, 2023
As regards the bolded below; How can you say that he "allowed" herdsmen as if herdsmen went to seek his approval before attacking Benue? You seem to be unaware that insecurity in Benue is not the responsibility of the president , the state governor is the chief security officer of the state and gets money from FG specifically for security.
God1000:
The globetrotter is back.

He failed nigerians the first time as military head of state, he was given the second chance and he screwed up again.

Nothing lasts forever, power is transient, he's now a former President.

He allowed herdsmen to engage in the act of depredations in Benue, I hope Tinubu won't do the same thing, Benue crisis needs a lasting solution this time
PoliticsRe: Stephen Mouka: Obidients Ridiculed As "Eluuu-P" Singer Was Spotted In Workshop by worksmart(m):
There is honour and dignity in labour and earning a honest living.

I am not an Obidient , Tinubu Supporter or Atiku supporter, all 3 seem to be poor choice for Nigeria, but after a month of Tinubu, i am suspecting he may be the most corrupt of the three of them.

Nigerian democracy is flawed and INEC is not fit or purpose and Nigeria lost out at the Primaries which almost always fails to bring out the best candidates.
TravelRe: Seychelles Places A Ban On Nigerian Passport Holders by worksmart(m): 3:20pm On Jul 09, 2023
We must not let this stop us.
If it means we enter by avoiding official entry point, so be it.
Car TalkRe: Subsidy Removal: Mechanics Decry Low Patronage As Motorists Abandon Vehicles by worksmart(m): 3:16pm On Jul 09, 2023
It is paid agents like you that have been perpetrating the subsidy hoax for corrupt politicians. Buhari was telling the truth when he told us subsidy doesn't exist in Nigeria.
nairalanda1:
LOL...there always has been a subsidy. If there was none, you would have been paying N580 for one liter as early as September 2022, when landing cost was N502 per liter then.

You are now sounding like Buhari who in 2014 said there was no subsidy.

Subsidy has always been there. In 2012, fuel was costing N97, meanwhile it cost N99 to bring in one liter. 2015, fuel cost N87, while it cost N132 per liter to bring it in. In 2016, fuel cost N145 while it cost N165 to bring it in. And in 2023, landing cost was N341, while fuel was being sold at N195.

You have not been feeling it because government has been protecting you from the actual price of fuel since 1973....which is why this price increase is shocking you. All our fellow African countries that have no subsidy meanwhile know how the thing pinches.

There always has been a subsidy. Otherwise, why are you asking for them to bring it back.? Why ask for something that you think does not exist.?
Car TalkRe: Subsidy Removal: Mechanics Decry Low Patronage As Motorists Abandon Vehicles by worksmart(m): 1:29pm On Jul 09, 2023
Tinubu says "subsidy" (although fuel was never ever subsidized and the subsidy lie is to justify fuel price hike that would generate proceeds to be looted ) is favouring the rich, so he hiked fuel prices so that driving would become a privilege only the rich can enjoy.
BusinessRe: Popular Power-line Market Aba Abia State Destroyed By Fire by worksmart(m): 1:21pm On Jul 09, 2023
"Destroyed" appears to be an exaggeration, people are seen standing inside the market with smoke in the background.
PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Arrives Bissau For ECOWAS Meeting by worksmart(m): 3:26am On Jul 09, 2023
One month in and already promises are being broken.
Nigeria we don enter One Chance ooh!
Throwback:
We are still waiting for the Ministers list that close advisers of the President promised would be out in 1 month.

There is no excuse for failure.

This renewed hope we must get it whether you have it or not.
PoliticsRe: Names Of Ex-Governors Receiving Pensions In 10th Senate by worksmart(m): 2:29am On Jul 09, 2023
Worst part is that even ex-senators are receiving pensions. So after leaving senate they would receive pension for Senators and for Governors.

Imagine Tinubu is currently receiving pension for Senators and Governors on top of his upto $10 million annual Salary as president.
PoliticsRe: How Biafra's Exit Will End Nigeria by worksmart(m): 4:59pm On Jul 08, 2023
This is like saying Afghanistan invading and conquering US would end US status a superpower.
It would if it was possible , but it is not.

Biafra exit would end Nigeria but only if it was possible, but it is not! smiley
Car TalkRe: States, FRSC To Share N12bn Proof Of Ownership Proceeds, Says Official by worksmart(m): 4:24pm On Jul 08, 2023
As if you need consultants to collect payments from car owners cheesy
Morbeta11:
consultants engaged for the exercise who are the consultants.
Car TalkRe: States, FRSC To Share N12bn Proof Of Ownership Proceeds, Says Official by worksmart(m): 4:16pm On Jul 08, 2023
Let me get this right.
The money would not be used to improve road infrastructure instead it would be shared (with no stipulation on how the shared funds should be utilised by receipients) between :

1. Consultants (Is a consultant really needed to collect money from drivers? No percentagen specified and for how long? *SMH*)

2. States (which states? is it the state that collects the payment or the state the owner originates from? No percentagen specified )

3. FRSC. (No percentagen specified)

Why is the permanent Secretary of Lagos Ministry of Transport making this statement instead of Permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport?

Don't pay, this fee because that would just be supporting fraud!

I miss PMB grin
PoliticsRe: NNPCL To Construct Another International Gas Pipeline To Europe by worksmart(m): 6:59pm On Jul 07, 2023
So we have no money build and repair our refineries but we have money to build pipelines for the racist globalists enslavers to pump our oil to their countries.
Nigeria is still enslaved our leaders are just the house slaves for the racist caucasian globalists, who installed them to assist them exploit us.
BusinessRe: Oil Companies Resume Dollar Sales To Banks As CBN Eyes Supply by worksmart(m): 9:38am On Jul 07, 2023

Tinubu seem to be working for these racist Caucasian globalist plunder our wealth. Let me keep watching.
TravelRe: Governor Alex Otti Hands Over 9 Road Projects To Contractors by worksmart(m): 9:14am On Jul 07, 2023
Imagine how much Abia state is losing because of poor governance and neglect of infrastructural development and maintenance. I am from Anambra and my cousin who was trading in Abia also abandoned the state and returned home because state infrastrucural decay and bad governance made doing business very tough for him.
angelikoko:
my concern is PHC - ABA expressway, though its FG assignment, let de state help to start facilitating its dualization. Also Phc road, osusu road, ngwa road, ariaria, uratta road in ABA needs urgent attention. Infact all the roads in Aba needs serious attention. I cant wait to see de roads to be in good shape so that i can restart my abandoned business because of these bad roads.
