Only because his cabal has muffled and intimidated the press media.

In truth, you enemies of Nigeria are having a very bad time and you're almost getting depressed over the scarcity or bad news. Forget the emojis, we know how you feel deep down.

The only time your type are truly happy is when there's an abundance of bad news in the country, killings, burning, floods, etc.

Most Nigerians are commending Mr President for the moves he's been making so far and pray dearly for God to grant him good health to see to the end of his reforms.

May bad news continue to be scarce in Nigeria, amen.

Grayoso:
Buhari kept subsidy in place because he realised it was a way to actualize his agenda of massive enrichment of the North towards his Fulani rejuvenation ambition.

Tinubu has no perverted loyalty to any group, as Buhari had, and is only devoted to what is best for Nigerians and Nigeria, not Beninoise or Benin Republic, so he has no option but to go forward with fuel subsidy removal Buhari set as a trap for another government to deal with.

Buhari retained the fuel subsidy payment regime throughout his 8 years as President because, like most president before him, he realised he could use it, once in power, as a cynical tool to enrich a sectional.agenda to the detriment of over 200 million Nigerians.

Only Tinubu has had the political will to ensure, for a better future, subsidy is gone for good out of the quartet before him in OBJ, Yar Adua, GEJ and Buhari.

Lol. Crass dishonesty Mr.OP. Shameful because we are talking of history we all lived through.

Only a re.tard will deny that what you write is asinine idiocy. Buhari retained Emefiele because the former banker was a criminal mercenary with no conscience and for sale to the highest bidder.

In Emefiele , Buhari found one of the very few Southerners he could use to complete his economic genocide against the South in favour of a Northern supremacy agenda. Simple as that.

You're kidding right? How many acts of lawlessness and dictatorial acts of flagrant disregard for the rule of law did Nigeria witness under Buhari and Malami? You're a dishonest clown.

Yes. Two weeks that dispassionate and progressive expert worldwide have termed the best start to a Nigerian Presidency they have seen since our current democracy began in 1999.

Go and find better things to do with your time. Obvious you're not intelligent enough to mask the fact you're an ignorant hater, deceitful 'tool' and very dishonest person.

24 century?
And you're talking about my level of reasoning? cheesy cheesy *SMH*

All we need to do is raise the fuel price to about N300 to stop fuel smuggling to neighbouring countries, but we cannot be criminally deceptive to claim that is removing a subsidy. Acknowledge it is a fuel tax and transparently use the revenue realised for development projects.
Never4getU:
Imagine ur level of reasoning in this 24th century? A subsidy that's created monster of corruption where cartel makes billions of naira without importing a liter of oil. It became clear who the true beneficial of our subsidy are.

Neighboring countries are the enjoying instead of Nigerian, a policy that's almost bringing the country to its kneel.

Now you want to compare the two? Ode
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 22.41% Amid Petrol Subsidy Removal by worksmart(m): 12:57pm On Jun 15, 2023
Let us look at what is meant by the concept of fuel subsidy .

Subsidy means charging for a price lower than the cost of your product and the subsidy is the difference between the true price and the subsidized price you choose to charge.

In Nigeria's case we can work out our price of litre fuel as follows:

Cost of extraction of oil from our land
Cost of transportation of oil to refineries
cost of transport of fuel from refineries to filling stations
Other related overheads .
This can be calculated, let us assume the price for Nigeria to deliver fuel to filling stations is something like $0.40 per litre for fuel which is about N170 / litre.

The fraud is that is that if instead of charging Nigerians the cost of production and delivery of fuel, they are claiming that Nigeria is subsidizing the price of fuel if we do not pay the price that a non oil producer nation would import fuel for. So let us assume the price of non oil producer without refining capacity of importing fuel is $0.70 (N350), the subsidy proponents are then saying we are subsidizing fuel by charging the $0.40 it cost us to land fuel at filling stations.

So that is the fraud .

Nigeria has probably one of the most expensive telecommunication services in the world and is highly lucrative and profitable for the handful of service providers that form the cartel.

You trying to tell me that hundreds of other of other international telecoms companies would not love to enter the Nigerian market?

The cartel is preventing competitive telecom firms entering Nigeria telecom market.

Not your fault na, we have been deceived so much by corrupt politicians that we can no longer recognize the truth.

Abacha who we castigate for being a looter was able to set up the Petroleum Trust Fund that positively impacted infrastructure and other national developments simply by raising the price of fuel from N13 ($0.26) to N18 /litre ($0.36/litre) and guess what? He never called it subsidy removal. Subsidy is deceptive concept for looting politicians.

PoliticsRe: Why Subsidy Removal In Itself Is A Fraud, Concept Is Based On Deception. by worksmart(op): 4:16pm On Jun 14, 2023
We could raise the price of fuel above it's true price and to N350 but let us use the extra revenue as income that goes into the coffers of our treasury to be used for development of the country included repairing and building refineries.

By calling this additional income subsidy removal the corrupt government is presenting it as money that they have chosen not to pay out instead of presenting it as additional income that they earn, that way it is easy to not account for it and misappropriate it.

Let us actually acknowledge that we are imposing a fuel tax on the people of N180 per litre in the example have have given. That way we can be accountable for how we utilize the extra revenue realised.

The more I see of Tinubu, the more I appreciate how much better PMB was.

Under PMB never interfered with Judiciary, Tinubu and his cabal was already bribing the Supreme Court on the Naira re-design policy even before he was elected.

PMB respected institutions like the CBN but Tinubu has suspended CBN governor within days of his inauguration on trumped up charges .

Buhari subsidized fuel to make cost of living cheaper for Nigerians, Tinubu almost trebled fuel price with days of being sworn in.

Buhari prosecuted corrupt people, but Tinubu chose a suspected Boko Haram sponsor as his VP, considering FFK for appointments.

Buhari never interfered with NAss but Tinubu is showing signs that he would be interfering.
