Fuel subsidy in Nigeria is a hoax, does not exist. Buhari never paid it because it lie used by Obasanjo who first introduced the concept to raise fuel prices and accumulate funds to loot. Check Buhari budget presentations and you would never hear of fuel subsidy, it is only corrupt media owned by corrupt politicians that kept the lie going.

I may be wrong but I think he has awarded that project to Julius Berger, which I personally think is a mistake as they are notorious for charging multiple times the true cost of contracts and never complete on time if they do not abandon.

Owerri/ Port Harcourt — THE beleaguered dualization of the ever busy Onitsha- Owerri road has been abandoned.

Construction giant, Julius Berger Plc which handles about 40 per cent of the 82-kilometre Owerri-Onitsha road (from the Owerri end) dumped the project about one month ago, evacuating men, materials and equipment in the process.
