I need to withdraw $68 from my fiverr Asap. Payal, please Trust worthy people only. |
CocoEsta:You just did your induction and got a visit the next day? You must be among those who don't need any training before accessing the grant. When did they say they would get back? |
EmeeNaka:For what reason should it attract such a penalty? |
Afonjashapmouth:Enjoy your life my brother. Na so e suppose be. When I get beer to drink na him I go dey fight tribal fight with my keyboard? |
Been on this forum for a minute and I see the inter-tribal fights never end. I think it is really slow and I hope I can appeal to your common sense. Here are a few reasons if you care about upgrading your intelligence. 1. E-tribalists are cowards. Faceless forums help people become anything they want to be. Some people think they can become supermen of their tribes, combing every nook and cranny of the internet, defending their tribes and attacking others. No sane person in real life goes about attacking other people 24/7 without ever caring what people think of them. Even an insane person would have to work really hard at it. We might attack others in moments of careless insensitivity that can be chalked up to temporary insanity, but no one is temporarily insane all the time. So if you fight people of other tribes here all day but keep your mouth shut in the streets, you are just a coward. Don’t be a coward masquerading as an insane person. Cowardice is not an admirable quality. 2. Many E-tribalists are minors. By this I mean many nairaland tribalists have not yet reached the legal age of maturity which is 18. Unfortunately, the forums membership rules does not include being an adult before you can comment on topics. So by law many of the guys fighting here are not yet fully responsible for their actions. Being able to read and write is all you need to be here, and you don’t even need to be proficient at it. Once you can string together a few social media abbreviations you are good to go. A young person’s views on things changes very fast. Seven years from now, they probably wouldn’t believe half of the things they believe right now. That also includes the way they feel about other peoples. So before you start getting irate and loading your virtual clip at a minor, remember that. 3. You don’t want to be a weak and sentimental person The war you are fighting is as old as man and will never be won. You are never going to silence everybody who feels some type of way about you. You can’t prove a point to everyone who thinks they are better than you just by virtue of their belonging to a particular tribe. If someone says something derogatory about your people and you dwell on it you are just going to want to get even. Instead of that, just look at it as a chance to prove to yourself that you have self-control. 4. It’s not that important Really, it is not. All that noise you’re making, the Fagani people of the Solomon Islands don’t know about it. I had to use google to know the Fagani people exist. They don’t know about how annoying that tribe that occupies the territory not far from yours is. You don’t know about the Fagani people and their enemies either. They know that they are not the only humans on this earth though. That’s all that counts. We are all humans and we are related. In a two thousand years, all Nigerian tribes may not exist anymore, but their genes will continue. That’s what’s important That’s it for now. You can add yours. Mods let this one set my people free. |
We need to be selfless if we are to move forward. |
I JUST LOVE PUCCCY TOO MUCH TO BE CHASING ANY SHIIIIT HOLE, MALE OR FEMALE EVEN IN A BILLION LIFE TIMES. |
kgr28:Did he come as planned. I wish he would come to Nigeria sometime. By the way, where's your friend all4naija? What moniker is he using these days? |
pocohantas:TOP Quiz Why are all the men in the tribe chasing after pocohantas? Answer: Because she loved to poke the hunters. |
KingEbukasBlog:Don't mind Seun. When he is defending atheism he can be a religious fanatic. |
Seun:I have not seen any correct me either. Equality is not necessarily fair. To each according to their need is fairness. We want fairness for everyone, not equality. Many women despise equality. Most desire a man they can look up to who is way above their level in many ways. |
Seun:I am not talking about what YOU think they need. We are talking about what THEY need. Is that not what's important? They are not being compelled if that's what they desire, are they? |
Agathabishen:I understand the way it works. I did my induction few weeks ago. They said they were going to get back to us in 4-6 weeks. Tomorrow will make it exactly 6 weeks since I did mine. Everyone is suppose to receive a mail from them that tells them whether or not they qualified. I hope I hear from them this week. |
LordIsaac:Thanks, bro. |
vikiylove:Ok, I thought it meant I am a man who's always in class studying or something like that. ![]() |
neksummi:Congrats, when did they say they'll invite your batch to the online training? |
vikiylove:I try to be peaceable. What does it mean to be a man of class? |
vikiylove:Trust me, I used the collective pronoun "we" because I don't want to be condescending. It was deliberate. There is no suffering without desire. You cannot be too broke to buy something if you have no desire for it. Men bend over too much to please women in this country materially. I make my money and I should spend it responsibly, not try to please a deity who demands sacrifices I can't meet. Nigerian men are too weak when it comes to that. |
vikiylove:Nigerian men are not broke. I am very well into my 30s and I don't think they are worse financially now than they've been in the last two decades. You see, I remember the 90s vividly because that's the decade I grew up in. Life was way harder for the Nigerian man but his expectations and aspirations sort of matched his situation. But now we live in an era when we are exposed to so much materialism that we have a hunger for things that are beyond our economic status. Just listen to ten Nigerian love songs and at least eight of them have "I will buy you prada, buy you gucci and ferrari" and all that stuff. These guys sing these things because they feel people like to hear them. It is not coming from a deep place. That guy can't even tell the difference between one designer from the other. He is broke and also a little cerebrally challenged. He can't connect with his audience on a deeper level than that. Listen to your rock music made by people who are are from middle class background with parents who went to college, do you hear all that stuff in their songs? But people from the hood whose parents dropped out of high school and they too did mostly only dwell on such subject matter. You cannot be more than what you are. Our approach to life is this way because we have nothing upstairs. Look at the poor movies you make always with the same story of a guy who leaves the village and goes to the city, becomes rich and comes back to marry his sweet heart. How many times do you see that scenario in other industries? Why can't we have movies with ordinary folks tackling problems the normal way? We have nothing upstairs. You cannot be more than what you are. The makers of such movies are as unintelligent as the people who watch them. Unfortunately, they influence us. Talk about the blind leading the blind. Nigerian men are not poor. Nigerian men should live within their means. So should the women who love them. |
cytell56:They steal money but you don't know that this one is stolen. |
cytell56:Actually, a legislator can do this without having stolen money. The constitution allows them to access funds for what they call "Constituency projects". It is one of the quasi executive functions of the Nigerian legislature. I don't like it, but it's there in the constitution. |
Seun:I am very sure a lot of these atheist girls here are not opposed to the idea of submitting to their husbands when they get married. Some might hate the word but long for the very arrangement that puts them in that position -most of them long for a mate who is the provider. That is a position of power that tends to demand submission. You might believe it came from religion but there are atheists who believe women are wired that way by evolution- to seek the strong dominant male that can protect and provide for them and that they can in turn submit to. Don't pay too much mind to the things they say about submissiveness, rather look out for the decisions they make. |
ItsMeAboki:There's a question I have had on my mind. Isn't the average nomadic cattle rearing Fulani an Animist. Those hair braiding, skinny trousers wearing men and those women with navel revealing traditional clothes aren't muslims, are they? I grew up in the north central and I know those guys I've met are not muslims. Can you shed more light on this. What percentage of the cattle rearing nomads are actually muslims? |
Amarabae:Racist comment. Who told you she's white? What's wrong with dating white people? |
Yorobastard:Racist comment. |
intruxive:He can't take the back sit. He is already a first class king. That places him ahead of many Obas already, and the money puts him ahead of a lot more. |
Omoluabi16:There are religions in which cannibalism is part of their rituals. Terrorists who are kept in solitary confinement are also excommunicated from the rest of human society. They are in that situatuon because of their BELIEFS |
Omoluabi16:Not exactly. If that someone became Cliford Orji after you brought him up well excommunicating him is "not wrong on all levels". I am not a witness but that is faulty reasoning |
Ginaz:****Modified because I omitted a word that should have given it meaning**** You know depending on how strong their "conscience" is at the time I'm getting married I might not have any one of my family members in attendance. I have left the organization but that's the harsh consequence I must face. |
Ginaz:You know depending on how strong their "conscience" is at the time I'm getting I might not have any one of my family in attendance. I have left the organization but that's the harsh truth I must face. |
Ginaz:I get your point. But since it is a "spirit directed" organization you are not allowed to hold your own personal opinion. The faithful and discreet slave are not infallible yet they cannot be questioned. That's a huge contradiction many witnesses will not confront. In my case I drifted out in my 20s, went back before I was 30 for two years. Now I'm almost in my mid 30s and I dread the day I decide to wed. I was baptised so there would be consequences. You should know what I mean. |
