Seun:It is good business. I'm such a lazy bum. I have stuffs I've written on these guys but I'm just too lazy to edit and share here. I need encouragement. |
Masikay:Life is all about evidence. Love is both a noun and an action word (verb). If you believe a person loves you without evidence you are only being credulous. Credulity is the willingness to believe or trust too readily, especially without proper or adequate evidence. Every person must prove their love. |
Someone people are just trying to be smart here. |
Orikinla:Why was he not dead already when they found him? Those blocks look dry already. Why the hell was he singing instead of crying? The whole damn thing looks like staged to me. Who was with the people who found him before they broke the walls? |
Today we top the league for a few hours. |
Amelian:I think it has a lot to do with the culture of the man. My grand father married my grand mother as a single mother. It was the first time he was getting married. And he had had no child of his own. It is not ideal but it's not as big a deal in some cultures as it is in others. I can marry a single mother. |
tit:If e wan come sell hard drug na ordinary Igbo e go dey sell? Use your brain. |
AyamConfidence:So he can't return if he was disfellowshiped? |
Ludogorets Razgrad don score again. I just love these Bulgarians. |
Jethrolite:I was throwing the same question I asked to you to know if you know anything about it: How does the decide your loan tenure. You know they said it's from 3-5 years. 5 years would be ideal, but how does one get that? |
WORLDPEACE:Jethrolite |
dexter1983:How did they decide your loan tenure. You know they said it's from 3-5 years. 5 years would be ideal, but how does one get that? |
Kalatium:Thanks. |
I like the body of a Southwestern girl and the skin of either a Benue or South-eastern girl. |
Seun:Consider things from this angle. That things were brought about through intelligent design. It is not about how long that process took, what came first or what the holy books say. Remember not to fix your mind on the bible or any other 'holy' book. Just think about intelligent design vs chance. Then when the whole stuff about the ''imperfection'' in the universe- which is the usual argument - comes to mind, consider the possibility that the intelligent mind is not perfect just like you and I are not. Remember it is not all religions that preach that the gods are perfect. Look at all the things we have made as man, they are not perfect but it does not say we are not intelligent. Nairaland experiences glitches every now and then but it does not mean there are no intelligent minds behind it. The problem I see in creationism is the problem of how the creator(s) himself came about. No one can answer that, but I do not find it hard to believe that that creator after he has lived for gazillion years could have figured out how to create inferior minds. This is because I believe man, if he lasts long enough in the universe, will achieve the same thing. I don't accept the details of both theories but I am mostly afraid that evolutionism is becoming the bully that creationism has been. It is being spread the way religious leaders spread their holy book. They are flawless until someone who is really serious examines them. When they teach evolution it is presented as undisputed fact, as if to say if the holy books are wrong this has to be right. They should present both the intelligent design theory and the evolution theory. This is what honest people do. It is not fact that we evolved. It is a probability. In science we have all kinds of theories. When there are different theories that explain phenomena and non has been proven they are all taught. |
Jethrolite:Na so! Lol |
Korex10:Because the number of people speaking the language is the target, not the country. |
Jethrolite:I also filled an amount that was a little above that figure in my application into the program. Don't you think that figure is a little far away from the loan amount you'd be requesting? |
Southerners should be happy now; 'northern domination' is reducing. Followers of conspiracy theories of the likes of Fani Kayode can now sleep well. They are catching up with the north. |
E just be like say their official set out to discourage participants. Him plan no go work. How person go take navigate that their no. 1 condition as start-up. Jethrolite |

Bluezy13:You self see am? Lol |
safarigirl:I have voted. Good luck. |
safarigirl:How does one vote? Is it by clicking the like button at the top? |
Raine80:Thanks for understanding. I really appreciate it. |
Kalatium:There are scientists right from the birth of the theory of evolution till now who don't find it satisfactory, Religious or nonreligious. |
Lennycool:You keep going back to Christianity and the bible. Not once here have I told you I'm a christian or that I believe in the bible. When a person is talking about creationism, they are not necessarily people who believe in the bible. Creationism is the religious belief that the universe and life originated from specific acts of divine creation. I have not told you that I believe the bible. But since you are determined to make me a christian, what I'm really saying is that evolutionists need to "remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye." Does that not make sense too just because I drew it from the bible? |
Lennycool:Am I defending Christianity? Who told you I'm a christian? Did I say that here? There is a huge gap which the OP is addressing here in the evolution theory which is the point of this thread. The point he is making is there no evidence for life appearing from non-life which is what the whole evolution theory is about. The foundation is shaky. Considering the fact that evolutionists always demand evidence from creationists in other to believe, should they not take care of something so basic before drawing conclusions about evolution and propagating it? |
akintom:You don't need to conspire to groupthink. Sometimes supressing your own views to be acceptable in the group can lead to groupthink. The mere conclusion that because someone is an authority in the group and smarter than the rest can lead to groupthink. It is in all facet of life. |
Lennycool:So you agree now that how long people have believed something is not enough for it to be considered fact. |

* Science is not shielded from criticism------But scientists can shield it * science doesn't frown at or get irritated when it's challenged Scientists can get irritated when their theories are challenged * when scientific fact is falsified, the fact is replaced with the newest fact Not if a scientist or group of scientists have reasons want to keep it that way * science encourages critical thinking, rational enquiry Have you or someone you know challenged your professor in class before? What was the outcome? I am not talking to you about God. |
KingEbukasBlog:I totally agree with you. Scientists can be guilty of GROUPTHINK - a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome. Group members try to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation of alternative viewpoints by actively suppressing dissenting viewpoints, and by isolating themselves from outside influences. |
