Our cases are quite similar. I am in Nigeria, about applying for a UK Tourist visa. Hopefully i will get the visa. I also want to visit Paris from UK while am there, for say 3/4 days. Do i need to get a Shengen visa for Paris here in Nigeria or i should wait when am in the UK. Will i get a pass at the French border?

I will love your candid advise here. I have gone to the Lagos embassy 3 times and i have been denied. The first two times i wanted to go and have my baby which i had all documents required and funds, i was invited my my sister who is a citizen but was denied. The 3rd time after a whole year i applied for a conference which my company was sponsoring and was denied again. Now i want to go back with my family for holiday, can i go to abuja cos i heard lagos is very difficult? pls advise.

also explain what you mean about foreign students getting visas in post office(wont i get my visa in naija b4 i leave)...surviving in UK isnt an issue,i have a sister in reading,a brother in luton,an uncle in london,so surviving isnt an issue.

so back to my initial question==can i get to work up to [color=#000000]40hr/per week[/color] and i can always get to rent a place in coventry during project or exams.....

I know you are against working for more than 20hrs a week but is there a way to work for more than 20hrs since mum will only pay 6500+expenses out of the 12000+.....
so i need to earn a little to save for remaining fees and also something home for my wife and daughter that im leaving behind in naija...
My school fees is around 12k,how much of the maintenance deposit must show,is it 7280 or 820/month.
So is it possible to stay in northampton while i study in coventry

hello house, I applied for b.sc networking system@ Sunderland university directly, but I was referred to an agent, who said I d tuition is £10500-£2000(bursary), & someone in dis forum said d tuition is £7500, hope I'm not being duped sha.

The visas are all REAL with receipt collected. Its a Philippines Visa and an Ethiopian Visa (glued to my passport pages).

I have 3 sticker visas on my old passport issued 2001 (2 Asian visas and 1 African visa) and i never traveled with those visas, though i have visited four west african countries with the same passport within 2001 to 2008. Due to the unused visas, should i indicate i have a travel history or i shouldn't dare state that i have a travel history?

Good day Nairalanders in the House, i was just wondering why all this foreign schools are asking for Toefl or english language test when they all know that English is Nigeria's official Language, Can someone please list out the schools that don't necessarily require this test because it is very annoying that Nigerians are been oppress by these International Schools
Please don't just read and ignore, Let us All say NO to Toefl or whatever English language Text they are asking for, abi them speak English pass us

Young boys political ravings.
You do not realise the number of Nigerians that claim English as a first language that turn up at schools without the ability to read and write even simple things. Some can barely understand spoken English.
This is why schools worldwide demand tests from Nigerians.

Hello there. My monthly salary is about 362k and I am planning to leave about 258k x the last 4 months (instead of transferring it to my savings account as before). I will still provide my savings account statement but only for the last 3 months just to substantiate that I have other funds available (available balance about 1M). unfortunately not possible. No airline will sell a one way ticket for u on a normal tourist or visiting visa excpet u have a student visa or residence permit of the country u are going.

Thanks for the reply, like i earlier stated, i have 3 good accounts with money inflow and my business generates over 300k per month apart from my salary. I asked about my boyfriends statement because i would be getting a letter from him as a friend/sponsor and i wanted to know if it was necessary to get his statement because of the letter.

You are free to spend as many days as indicated on your VISA (typically 180 days at a go for UK) and not the number of days filled while submitting your application for processing.

That is a lawyers answer!
If you state that you are visiting for severn days, then stay for three months. You will have some very hard questions to answer when you next try to renew your visa. VO will think that you lied to them.

You can still change your mind and apply to a community college so that your admission process would be as fast as visa denial as well.

Thanks for the good work you guys are doing on this forum. I need you advice on my travel trip. I have been granted spouse visa with work permitted and will be travelling by end of the month.
My questions are:
1 I have booked a one way ticket, is there a problem with that?
2 Apart from my TB test that expired during the application process with me , do I still need any vaccination certificate?
Please bear in mind that i have not travelled to Lome not to talk of UK and I dont want to get caught up with any issue.
