Unfortunatly many schools have had Nigerians (and other nationalities) who state that their first language is English
turn up and be unable to read and write or even speak enough English to understand the schooling

You must respect the will of your ex father and allow the church to benefit.
If one of your sisters spent that much then you are already rich people. But then rich people are also greedy people.
God will judge you and your family if you prevent this money going to the church.
Thunderfire and misery winn decend and rip your family apart.
You state that you are the eldest so I bet that you are already claiming a larger share in your greed.

TravelRe: QATAR And UAE General Visa Enquiries by worry357: 8:14am On Apr 27, 2015
They do seem to change the regulations very often.
But what I think has happened here is that whatever method or person the agent was using to get visas has been stopped.
I hope that you have not aid money up front.

Missed my flight on Friday due to the fact that my visa was not verified before my departure( Ok to Board), when I got to the airport. Please make sure you get the 'Ok to Board' before travelling.
Who told you this, the airline officials. Or Nigerian airport officials?

I intend to fund my program using my gratuity after resigning from my employment where I've worked for 10years.
I don't think this is a good plan.
Do you really need to go back to school after ten years of working for a company?
Do you know if schooling will get you a better job?

I do not believe that the UKBA will be happy or accept this plan.

Why do you not use Google to search for information?

Good day nairalanders!
I'm new here,I joined so I can make some enquires on applying to Russian universities, Moscow aviation institute in particular. Does applying though an agent give me any advantage at being admitted?...
Thanks!
You should contact the university yourself and find out and understand ther admission requirements.
Use of a THIEF agent is a way to loose money or get involved in fake documents.

Is it OK if I went to the embassy with a pdf printed version of my sponsor's account statement?
You can try, but first it had better be real and honest. Or you are looking at a long ban.
They will check!

My dear, u cant go to dubai to work. First and foremost, how old are you? If u are not 30years of age and above as a guy, u wont be granted visa. And as a female, if u are not 27yrs and above u wont be granted visa. And u will only be given 2weeks service visa if u are within the appropriate age.
This is the new dubai policy. U can only work in dubai if the company in dubai has employed u already.
Not strictly true.
There are too many rumours about these countries being spread around.
People are still being admitted.
Also people are still being robbed by THIEF agent scams. so be carefull.

I'm planning to travel to Mexico and then cross the border into California, I need urgent help and probably people with the idea who can be of help.
You certainly do need help if you are thinking of trying this!
You will be falling into the hands of one of the Mexican gangs.
If you are very lucky they will just take all your money and abandon you in Mexico.
They are quite happy to kill their own people.
As a stranger you will be the odd one out in any group trying to survive in the desert and escape bandits, also you will not speak there language.
Or they might make it quick and just cut your throat.

Nigeria is considered as one of the most religious countries on earth, we dey quote, quote and quote bible and yet we fail to do the needful, more churches, more prayers, more vigil but less doing the right things, calling on God when he has given us brain to think, some one said and l quote ""God has given us brain to think so we can allow him to rest"".... wink
There was someone recently, the tale was given by the visa officer for the USA embassy.
He came on here quoting bible verses and prayers.
Then turned up KNOWING that he had fake papers.
That's what many do, go to church then down to the cafe to do Yahoo Yahoo, 419.

HI Mr Wip, While reading through I saw this post. I am in the same shoes right now and I will like to confirm from you if the possibilities are high regards visa issuance looking at the age. I know u have stated your point but that's like 2years ago. Would you still recommend same advise? I am 29yrs old going for a Bachelors, have gotten an admission already with University of Nicosia and they assure me it's not a problem as long as all required documents are being met. They will be handling the whole visa processing and documentation on my behalf. Just an advise from you.
The school have said ok, why do you not believe them?
They are the ones sponsoring you for a visa.

Hello house I was refused tier 4 visa last december for my masters to Uk to I have to defer my admission till September. What really happened was that I used a company bank statements where am working instead of them to pay into my account. I want to ask will they find out where I get my remaining money to put in my account.
If you load your account with a large sum then it will look suspicious.
If it is a genuine company with tax returns then they can sponsor you.
But it will need a letter stating why they are paying and what benefit they will gain.
NOT just stating that you will use their account!

Thnks for being blunt with him. I found it hard to read wt he types but couldn't say.
Again with this poster the REAL issue is lack of ties to return home.
It has been said many times that ths U.S. visa office assumes that you intend to migrate unless you strongly proove otherwise.
This is an automatic rejection.

Hello everyone, pls my husband is trying to apply for UK visa for himself, myself and our 8month old son, he's going to sponsor us as I am just in my final year in d higher institution, we have almost 1million in his acct, d his salary is within 300k, we do av any oda source of income. Wot are the chances that we will be given visa as some people say we need to have up to 2million for just 2weeks vacation and do we need som1 to send letter of invitation as we don't want to inconvenient anyone. Also my passport has my maiden name and we haven't collected passport for our son. Pls kindly help is tru on ow to go about it. God bless u all
You need sons passport.
Visa officer will look at your finances and ties to home.
Husband should get letter of leave from his employer.

VO will look at the sum of money and wages that you have.
If it looks like you are emptying your bank account for the trip then you will be refused.
You need good funds remaining as ties to home.

You have not given enough information for an answer.
Also anyone on here can only guess at the answer.
You must contact the airline that issued the ticket (you have not told us this.)
Then depending on any conditions on your ticket, they can sort things out for you.

Please how is de experience at de point of entry?
Is it like de US visa interview or more difficult, since I have hear anecdotes of students being rejected and being sent back
How do one prepare for this encounter?
They are trained to pick out people who look as if they have something to hide.
If you are honest, Have school admission and accomodation sorted and have finances in place then you have no need to look guilty.
You should be clear through.

For B2 visas, is there a standard format/set of questions they might ask? Has anyone here applied for a visa to attend a graduation?

I'm so nervous for my mum. My brother sent a personal letter attached to a formal invitation from the college explaining that she missed his high school grad (2009) and undergrad ceremony (2013) and don't want her to miss his masters grad ceremony. I wanted to send my tax docs and employment /salary information, but worry that I'm doing too much since she's attending a siblings graduation.

I prepared a couple questions like,
Why are you going to the U.S.?
How long do you intend to stay?
What do you do for a living?
Who will sponsor your trip?
Have you visited the U.S.?
How many countries have you visited?
How many kids to you have?
Where are they? ( Chai...Chineke me grin )

Can anyone add relevant questions?

I MUST testify tomorrow!!!!
Visa officers read posts here.
By tomorrow there will be a new set of questions now.
TravelRe: I Need An Advice Urgently! by worry357: 5:00pm On Apr 21, 2015
Community col is often a big red flag to visa officer.
Education from C.C. is a lower standard and potential employers know tis. You will be at the bottom of the pile for job applications.
Going to USA. or any country without sufficient funds hoping to get a job is not a good plan. You may well fail as so many have done and loose your school place, be rejected and sent home. Loosing all the money you have spent with still no education.

Make plans that fit your funds. If that means another, cheaper, country then accept that and move forward.
If it means staying home, the same.

What the original poster meant by "intro letter" is a letter from your employee introducing you as a staff of the organisation and stating how long you've worked for them and how much you earn yearly. It's what i used form mine. I have never for once given a letter authorizing me to go on leave.
That is quite good.
Having a letter stating that you are taking leave and will return to you job afterwards.
Is a very strong tie to home.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by worry357: 4:27pm On Apr 21, 2015
So many students in so many countries fall into the trap of picking the cheapest school.
Cheap school reflects in the quality of the teaching.
So when potential employers see the name of a cheap school they rate the student as a poor candidate, so very few job oportunities.
Many times people have wasted all that money and time to end up with no job.
But Nigerians MUST study abroad at all costs! sad

Pls Can I Only Use Marriage Cert As A Tie 2 Uk Embassy?
Not on it's own. The UK embassy are quite aware that Nigerians will leave behind family to gain entry.
You need letter from employer or other things as well.
