They are looking for a BRIBE from a first time traveller.
If he can be bold he my be let go, but if he is weak they will delay and ruin his travel plans.
It may be better to "give them something" and complete his trip than be stubborn and loose his trip and air fare!

This is actually his first time of travelling. He was asked to pay 50 dollars but he refused and his passport was transferred to their main office at that airport. He is going to Vietnam.

You are not giving enough information for people to help you.
What country is he traveling from?
At which airport was he stopped?
Who stopped him?

He has to prove where he will be staying.
He needs to go online and book a hotel room (and probably pay online) to be cleared for travel.

But your story of his passport being held at an airport just because he did not have a hotel reservation is strange.
Also how did he get this close to travel without understanding this?
Which country is he trying to get to?

If you boost your account with large amounts they will just suspect money logement and you are doomed again.
They want to see a steady pattern of transactions.

No she schools in turkey but there is a program called work and travel which enables student to travel to the United state to work during summer and you are given a visa valid for 6 months
You get to find a registered agent in turkey and the agent will get your job and accommodation for you that will enable the embassy give you the visa
But what she want to know right now is that is it possible to work for as long as 18 hours in diff organisation's that maybe two jobs and 8 hours in each

I have never heard of this and then you mention THIEF agent and alarm bells ring.
I say that this is a scam and that a THIEF agent is in the background looking to steal your money.

I have NEVER herd of a (legal) backdoor scheme to gain even a tempory working visa into the USA.
The only working visa requires very highly skilled job position like medical doctor.
Shine your eyes very well, or be ready to cry when you loose money!

They always have ways of checking your statement and funds.
If what you claimed to be there does not match with what they found then rejection.

Your question is rather confused.
Is she already studying at an American school?
Summer working regulations only apply to resident students, it's not some kind of visa.
What pay she gets depends on what kind of job she can find, could be anything or very little.

SHE must find the job first, there is no magic door into employment, and dozens waiting for every job, more for summer jobs when most students want something!

You have NOT been refused because you do not have family or an invitation to the UK.
Do not know where you got that idea from! You do not need an invitation for a visitors visa.
Your funds must be sufficient for your travel. accomodation and food, plus spending money.
This must not empty your account! You will still need funds when you return home.
Leaving nothing after the trip looks like you plan to stay.
You need strong ties to proove that you will return home, like letter of leave, or family, or managed landed property.

You were refused under 214(b) THIS MEANS THAT THE DID NOT BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD LEAVE BEFORE YOUR VISA EXPIRED.
You want to use your uncle in America's documents which again looks like overstay and will be a refusal.

Important first
Do not get into the clutches of THIEF agent!

Your question is not very clear,
do you mean tax that you pay on earnings? (tax you pay monthly)
Tax on goods and services is included in the bill automaticly, you do not pay as a separate item.

Searching on line is very easy, but you need to put some work into it!


HND is less than a degree so you may have to do a degree or top up first. Only the school can tell you that.

I know hundreds of companies that "can" employ a Nigerian graduate.
YOU are the one that must search on line and respond to job vacancies.
There is no short cut or back door! (Only THIEF agent waiting to rob you.)

You say "Nigerian graduate", if you have a degree from a Nigerian school
then you will be competing against those from top UK. and USA. schools.
Be prepared to work very hard to impress them if you hope to succeed.

To go that route you will need EXCEPTIONAL educational results that put you in the lead for the job.
No one is going to come looking for you. You will have to apply on line, ( and it must be a highly skilled job!)
You will need to show that you are the best person for the company and that it is worth investing all the time and money in your visa and transport.

Human nutrition sounds like something that a community college would offer.
If this course is not degree level or higher you will have great problems getting a visa.

Work on your strong ties to return home. Get a letter authorising your leave and stating that you will return after your holiday.
Then get your finances in place for travel accomodation and spending.

But trying to go without English test will make your application much more difficult.
Simplest to delay your plans and take test required by school.

If that is there requirement then that is what you must do.
They have probably had too many Nigerians present TOEFL but turn out to be fake papers.
You must budget the extra cost into your plans.

Please i need anyone familiar with university of manitoba's admission process to enlighten me on this supervision issue i.e if the university takes care of assigning supervisors to students or students would have to mail faculty members directly. They may well allocate students from Canada or US
Students from Nigeria may need to contact supervisors so that they can be assessed.
Usual wahalla of not trusting Nigrtian documents.
