Congrats dear, pls when u were counting ur 28days pls was it naira u put on the left and then pounds to the right side too just as @olowob has adviced?

Why are you making something simple so complicated.?

This side is LEFT......................................................................This side is RIGHT.
You put what you are selling on the LEFT (Naira)...............................You put what you are buying on the RIGHT (Pounds, or Dollars.)

Very simple.

Well you sound as though you know these things happened.
So what is the truth?
Did you use the NHS for these things and not pay?
You must be honest!

Onanda conversion please read carefully.

You have Naira and you want to buy pounds.
You can swap the sides but you MUST BUY POUNDS.

Read what is says carefully!
You are selling Naira to buy Pounds!
Enter the amount of pounds that you want to buy.
Look at the cost in Naira.

Simple!

I really want to inundate them with supporting documents this time around. Thank you.

The danger if you bombard them with too much
is they will only scan through it and may miss something important!

Please can I also pay my Tuition using First Bank Form A.?
I was planning to use Diamond Bank, but someone on this forum discouraged me, saying Diamond hasen't approved any Form A since August 4th.
Please how long will it take with First Bank? & whats the current rate.

You should have applied when the rate was lower rather than be guided by strangers here.
At worst you might have been refused, you may have paid by now.
Now you are starting fresh with the rate rising.

Also no good asking the rate here, by the time you get to the bank it will have changed again.
Stop asking questions and get to the bank to do something tomorrow.

US visiting? Can he stay back after his 2weeks visit elapses? And then get a menial job?

He can not work on a visiting visa.

If he overstays he will have broken his visa conditions and will receive a long ban.

You can not move into a country just because you want to!
All countries have visa requirements and strict conditions for entry and work.

You should start by going to the sections for each country and reading back to learn more.

What sorts of problem? Like?

Are you the only person not aware of the activities of Nigerian airport officials?

We see many reports of them asking for bribes before processing people.
Some have been detained and prevented from boarding flights until they part with large sums of money.
An excuse like single way ticket makes you much more vulnerable to these people.

Please what are the advantages and disadvantages of booking a one way ticket to UK?

Advantage it may be cheaper.
Disadvantage you will probably be refused a visa.
If you get a visa you may well get wahalla from officials at Nigerian airport.

Cool.. In the US " college " is a common term for undergraduate education...so even when in Universities students will say i am in college .. but the difference is the actual Community Colleges offer only 2 years program called associate degree. ...so if the degree offered is a BSC then it is not a community college

It's the exact opposite in the UK everything now calls itself a University. grin

Is it not a known fact that u need to write IELTS/TOEFL or GRE/GMAT even if not for school purpose but for embassy purpose.?

Yes some VO like to see that as evidence that you are serious about study.
Also a letter of admission from your school stating that they waive the requirement for TOEFL etc. will work.

Hi good morning, please I need your advice on how to go about traveling to u.s with an invite from a friend in the u.s, she already agree to send to an invite to come over but still need some info on how to go about it. Thank you

It has been said many many times.
The USA visa officers do not look at invitation letters!

Your application must stand up on it's own.
Strong ties to prove you will return home.
Robust finances.

Thanks worry359,elope and whatamidoinghere. I will contact my school for more advice and at the same time apply for the priority service when making my application.

Contact your school and ask for a letter allowing delayed start (usually a couple of weeks is the maximum.)
A priority visa must still meet all the requirements the same as standard application.

Hi, thanks for this platform.
Do I need to get TOEFL to get Visa since my propose school( theological) doesn't require it?

If you have a letter stating that you do not need it then you should be ok.
Some do it anyway to look better for the VO.

What are the implications of applying for a tier 4 visa a week before your course start date as stated in your CAS? Is there any possibility of you being denied the visa?

There is always a possibility of being denied.
Then it will depend on how long it takes to process and receive your visa, book tickets and travel.
Better to get a letter from your school allowing you to join slightly late.
Have this to show at POE.

It is the USA visa policy to give you a paper with a code for your visa refusal.
Unfortunately most people do not seem to look at it!

What was the code? like 214b? or something else?

So, he just denied me based on what info is contained in my ds 160 form because he didnt ask me any of those questions in that refusal letter.

Yes, That is why you submit the form.
They do not have time for long interview to probe questions.
They read your form to make a decision and only ask questions to get a clear picture.

Hello my people, had my interview today, didnt go too well, I got denied the Visa,

Thanks for your help all the gurus here.

On your rejection paper what was written?
Was it 214b or something else?

Spending money to get stamps on your PP from African countries does not impress the VO.

Please I need an urgent response.I was refused a Study Visa to Canada but nothing was stamped in my passport.I don't know what to do.

Everything is computer data now.
That record stays there even without a stamp on your passport.
You are still refused.

You must look at the reason for refusal, work on it and re apply.

Please i want to go for second masters in the USA, i studied mathematics i graduated with 2.48 of 5point, i have my master in mathematics in unilag,i graduated with 2.74 of 4 {Wes evaluation}.

i want to go for second master in mathematics in the USA, can someone recommend a school with low tuition and the one that can accept this grades for a masters in mathematics, i have done my TOEFL i scored 96, most schools does not requires GRE for mathematics graduate
please help

I think that there is 90% probability that you will be refused a visa for a second masters in the same subject.
To look genuine you must do a higher level qualification.

To do the same level looks a waste of money, so they suspect a fraud and refuse you.
