fizzile: Yababoy, please can you give us a breakdown of how the interview went and the questions asked. Please. It will help some who are preparing too. Also kindly give us some observations and important info. cc; yababoy As said many times They want to hear you speaking to see if you sound confident and truthful. We see reports back of the VO saying you have just learnt a speech. Many interviews posted here if you search back. Take guidance but do not copy answers, tell your own truth. |

NB i'm a new driver and how does age play in this insurance thing self? You need to be checking on line quotes in your state. You will never get USA car insurance asking on a Nigerian site! |

Yababoy: Hello guys, I made my application and had my interview on Friday. Fingers crossed and waiting for a favourable decision. However, I had an observation. The lady that checked in my documents returned the OANDA printout saying it wasn't necessary. I was surprised though but is this same with everyone that has applied too? I would guess that they do their own check on the rate. But better to take it than go with nothing. |

DeeTus: That would be an egregious mistake if after getting the visa and arrived the United States, then you're turned back. Always play by the rules.
Someone else is lucky to let go does not imply you will be lucky too.
Over all, I personally think it's a lot better if you could change your ticket. "Better safe than sorry." If you arrive later you will save on accommodation, that will pay towards the ticket price rise. I would check online or by phone if you can get a better price before paying the agent. |

Professor554: Form A is a waste of time. Mine took 5weeks with no response. I just went back to the bank, asked them to close the transaction, bought my dollars from the black market and deposited in my GTBANK dorm account, filled the forex transfer request form and submitted. Within six hours my account was debited and my telex copy in 24 hours. But many can not afford to buy on the black market! |

elope: will anyone be willing to give in this hard times how dod u get a CAS wothout the schl asking for ur statement cuz i am aware most schools ask for balance before ossuing CAS? the option i know of will be to defer till january or next yr sept The school are responsible for checking that your finances are OK. They get into trouble if they allow people to slip through so they are very strict. If funds are not enough probably best to defer. |

nenyetube: So it's obvious the agent has been lying to us...he claimed dt we will get if d accounts history is well buoyant....pls nairalanders...reply pls...then oif we defer...what happens to the money that has been paid to d school already....will we have to forfeit the money or what Do not panic. If you have paid to a reputable school and you defer they will either refund your money or carry it forward to the next semester. Also get rid if the agent. You can do everything yourself no problem. |

saintsola: Dear Friends,
My passports were actually retained on the 26th of November,2014. My lawyer wrote to UK embassy in Lagos, Abuja and UK severally and it was the same response from the UK embassy that my passport has been handed over to the fraud unit in NIS in Abuja.
I visited the fraud unit severally too and was told my passports are yet to be delivered to them. The question now is where is my passport?
Not until April,2016 that I was able to locate my passports( 2 combined passports as a frequent traveller) at the fraud unit in NIS Abuja.
All the required information along with my previous passports prior to the introduction of the E-passport has been provided yet as at this time of writing my passports have not being delivered to me.
So it might be a wide goose chase. I think the problem here is that you did not offer enough money for the release of your passport to NIS. They wanted a bribe! |

OlowoB: Of cos it says bank but why should bankers be using the whole forex for their own profit illegally? My cousin even told me that the banker has agreed to get people that he will use for the WU. The point is, it is illegal. The bankers are trading illegally.[/b] It might be immoral but I suspect that there is no law that makes it illegal. |

frankloloko: Vicjustice . Sir where can I declare ? At immigration office ? What if they ask me for the passport number ? What should I tell them sir ? Thanks and God bless you If the PP has fake stamps! Destroy the PP, record the number then burn it. Then apply and pay for replacement stating that original has been lost or destroyed. This will cost money, that is the lesson you learn from using an agent! If you use the PP with fake stamps you face a very long ban, your choice. |

Im supposed to attending a training next month I wouldn't know if it will be advisable to reapply and if they will give me if I do. Scared of loosing money again. You would have been given a reason written on that paper. This is US policy. Does it say something like 214b? |

justwise: She doesn't have the gravitas to be a PM judging by her cash-crashed and short lived campaign.
She is supported by Britain First organization which is a cross between BNP and UKIP. The group made a public video support her and slagged off Theresa May and she never come out to distant herself from the group Sorry Mr Justwise but I think that you are wrong. For good or bad I think she will turn out to be one of the strongest Prime Ministers that the UK has had. Stronger that Thatcher, perhaps up there with Churchill. |

spikesC: You cannot pay your tuition and live on a 20hrs unskilled job. Pay attention to 20hrs and unskilled You can invest in skilled jobs that require some form of licenses or learnt skills (they pay higher) and ofcourse, consider if you want to take the risks of doing more hours.
Note that most unskilled agency jobs start from around the minimum wage. You'll get a better pay after 3 months of work (around £12.50) This all depends on whether you do get a job, let alone 20hrs! There is no guarantee of work waiting for you! Just remember that. |
