ARABMONI: Warm greetings to all in the house, i have two questions... 1)Is 5months Old SOA good enough for presentation at POE, 2)Will 3hrs layover time be enough for 1 to get cleared at Chicago ORD, coming in through Abu Dhabi (since there is a CBP Post in Abu Dhabi), Any response is appreciated... Thanks 5 month old SOA. shouts out to the visa officer that the money is no longer there and a fraud is being committed. It is obvious that if you can not get a fresh statement that you are trying fraud. 3 hours should be enough as long as your flight is not delayed. |

pclevercheta: I wonder why you think i am lying on this forum when i am seeking for help and info,there is no need for that. I stated that she had her form completed earlier by an agent who felt he should add a "Better" job different from what she is doing. He did but by the time she came back and told me i was not comfortable with that cos i dont know how she was going to defend it. I requested a retrieval and that was what i had the agent do to change to her real job to make it easier for defense. sorry for the lengthy write up just to explain. Note: this is her first attempt. like to have more info on this pls. Be blessed. That was very sensible and well done. |
Travel › Re: Overstayed In France Fine by worry359(m): 5:39pm On Jun 01, 2016 |
France is unlikely to impose a fine, they may even pay for you to return home if you can prove birth place with a good passport.
You have already spoiled your chances of another Shengen visa so no point worrying about that. It is places like China that will fine you then keep you rotting in prison till you pay!
Suggestion Just declare your overstay, say you want to go home but you have no money. Bingo, you will soon be on a plane home. |

BigBenoski: I'm sorry if posting my university would have made a difference... I didn't think I was withholding anything of importance, I was just trying to save myself about 4 words typing time. I could still modify, right? Do not bother about such comments. Some people just want to copy every word said in someone else's interview. It is no problem if people want to keep information private. |

tunderule2016: As @worry359 said there will be some strong worries for rejection... But you can do the following... Get a sponsorship letter from ur dad and also indicating that he transferred the money for the purpose of your traveling .... for graduation. Also, he needs to print out is bank statement and you will also do the same... cos that transfer must be identified. { I do something personally whenever i want to make the work of ECO easier... I circle my salary becos my salary dont come on exact date but ranges from last week of every month. So you can circle the deposit in the bank statements with the date so the ECO attention is drawn (it is my own opinion u dont have to do it)}
Your dad sponsorship also needs to indicate he has sponsored you all through your education. On the form, Additional information box... Explain in there why your dad transferred the money to you in briefs... so u dont give them much of reason of refusal. Let them know your travel records also proves you have never furstrated the immigration rules and you intend to come back to nigeria. You should be fine... Good luck Yes. |

kelljuili: Hello everyone, please I need you honest advice. Am planning to attend my graduation ceremony soon, but my dad will be the one sponsoring the trip. Although the money required will be deposited in my saving account. Here's my question do I need attach a sponsorship letter from my dad in my application. 2) I will be staying with a friend who is a British citizen during my visit, do I need a letter from him as well. *Note duration of stay. 1week 5days * At the moment currently Unemployed. What other documents can I add to show that my intention are genuine and that am not planning to break any immigration laws. Thank you in advance If you are unemployed what are your strong ties to prove that you will return home? This alone is a rejection. Bulk deposit boosting your account, you must clearly show where it came from and why. This is also a risk. |

ruffp: This was exactly what I asked @ladyG. Someone told me that once u have a blood relative there,u have a higher chance of 'disappearing'. In which case they are encouraging people to lie in their application. How else do u explain one getting an unnecessarily unfair assessment simply becuz u hv a relative there? There is an important point that you are missing.As do many others. The visa officers are trained to watch you and pick up signs that you are lying. From your actions and the way you speak they will make a judgement. |

desireeclarke: Well, we don't know much and that's why I'm asking. As for Dangote levels, hmmmmm. That's the one I don't know either. She has an agent but I thought it would be nice to also pick the minds here. On your use of "honest" I have heard its always good to be honest and get denied than lie and get caught anyway..... Asking was just to help us get other views and advise for her. Thanks any way Best advice for her is to run away from any THIEF / agent before they make things worse and take money! Be VERY, VERY, VERY careful that the THIEF / agent does not add lies and false documents to the application! |

Gifts to Pastor is not a good enough explanation to the visa officer. |
