I plan to attend a church seminar in south dakota usa october. Its from oct3-26th. I run 2 accounts both savings but 2 different banks, my salary is paid into gtb but i put my savings into access bank. I earn abt 220 per month. These r my questions
1. Which account statement would you advise i take along to the interview? Both or one of them.

2. What is the minimum/maximum amount that should remain in any of these account to convince the vo i can afford the trip?

3. What other necessary document will i need?

I am not assisting him with telling lies. He actually filled in married himself I didn't help him with that... I am just looking out for a loved one. He a was denied visa once when "they" realised he had no ties to the country. I guess that was why he "changed" his status

i was refused a UK visa last year because they didn't understand how my salary was paid. i work in a Bank and they credit us twice, i quoted the whole sum in the form. they refused because they didn't see the said sum in my statement of account and i use the account for other purposes too,my husband pays our monthly allowance into the account too. now i want to re apply and i don't want to state that i am employed, i want to state that my spouse will be sponsoring the trip solely with my little savings of 500 pounds. will stating that i'm unemlpoyed this time affect my application. cos i filled the reason for refusal as salary account activity not clear. kindly advise before i submit my application.

How about if it's a different state altogether. Say for instance, at your visa interview, you stated New York as your vacation destination and then you decide to change to, say, California at the time you eventually travel. Assuming you have a new hotel reservation for the California hotel, will one still be fine at POE?

1. Are there schools with affordable tuition or any that is tuition free?
2. What are the likely schools I can apply for?
3. What is the typical cost of accomodation like [in naira]?
4. Can I work as a teaching assistant or lecturer while undertaking my PhD research?
5. Is it easy to get a visa for PhD studies?
6. How much is flight fee [cheapest range]?
7. Are there academic opportunities for PhD holders ?
8. What are the salient factors I must take into consideration?
9. How much do I need to survive on a monthly basis as a PhD student?
10. Do I need ielts or toefl or gre and those other exams since I read English?


Have you done any work yourself to find out these things?

Before you demand that Mr Justwise answers all the questions.
Get off your bottom and use Google to do some research.

It is not fair when idle people come here demanding answers rather that doing some work themself.


Please do well to tell me anything I haven't asked already. I know the questions are many. You don't have to answer all, just tell me the one you have an authoritative idea on. I really appreciate!

Thks LadyG for the response,so grateful hubby has been following this thread for sometime now but i'm new on it.He's a senior banking officer while i'm doing biz. We plan traveling with the kids and we both have siblings over there.I don't want to goof when asked questions. What questions am I likely to be asked? I need ur response pls,good peep in the house.

I found out after I submitted my visa application (renewal) that I made a mistake.... I answered NO to the question 'have u ever been issued a visa in the last 10 years' although I have all the supporting documents to show that I have... it's just a silly mistake and I've been beating myself up about it.... does anyone think it's a good reason for refusal?
