paullo240: hello everyone. I want to apply for an international scholarship and they are asking for passport which I don't have, So is there any other document that can be use in place of passport like NIN or any other document . pls need ur say, is urgent thank Sorry but you need to do a little study and research. A Passport is a unique and very special document which identifies a person for international travel. NOTHING else will work, and you must obtain the passport through the official government department. Use Google search to look for more information. After applying and paying for passport you must apply and pay for a visa to visit the country that you are interested in. |

RentAbrolly: Hi all, I need help with an issue. I completed my study in the UK last year and before the end date of my study I applied for leave to remain as spouse cos my husband is on temporary resident permit as an EEA dependent, it was refused that he needs to have hold his visa for 5 years. I returned to Nigeria and applied for visiting visa twice now and it was refused citing insufficient funds and genuiness of visiting. Now I want to apply to study another masters in the UK, any idea what the outcome might be If your masters is genuine (were you undergrad or masters last time?) It will depend on your finances. With you applying for leave to remain and two visitors visa you look very desperate to get to the UK an this may affect you. |

NJN: Ok... Thanks. However, the idea is for my friend to stay with me in the school accommodation. Is this a good option or do I still go ahead and book the hotel? Ok it was not clear who was where. If you are trying to use school accommodation you will have to show that you have permission. So hotel might be better for the visa application. |

NJN: Hello guys,
Please, for someone who wants to invite another to the UK ( a friend). Just 2 weeks visit. The person in the UK is a student and wants to invite his friend over for a 2-week stay. , what's the best way to go about it? what kinda visa is best suitable. Also, what are the requirements? I've done some internet search but none seems to cater for this particular scenario, from the results I've gotten thus far. Thank you. Your friend will need to show that the accommodation is suitable and that they have permission to have you there. It might be simpler to apply using hotel booking for one or two days. |

Shalema: Hi. I would appreciate some advice concerning applying for a Tier 2 UK visa. I had previously lived in the UK but had a few issues which led to my overstaying my last visa. I left voluntarily at my own expense in 2011 ( I still have the e-ticket printout). Recently I have been offered a professional job with a Certificate of Sponsorship that meets all the requirements.
I wonder if the one year mandatory ban is still an issue as I left in 2011. The only way to know is to apply giving honest answers to the questions. Then at least you will not make things worse. Unfortunately you must pay the visa fee. People here can only guess at an answer to your case. |

TheLeakyTribe: hmmmm, I've looked at that angle oh. except it's a family member that set it up, I keep a very closed circle. just me, my husband and our child, no one comes to stay for long visits and even the short visits are few and far between. When I travel it's the day I'm leaving that I inform family members and close friends.
the only place I talked about my search for dollars was on this forum which I believe is faceless abi anybody don code me for here? (speak now oh lol). As much as I took care of the girl our gist no dey pass wetin she do that day, errands I sent her on and her plans for her future. I never told her where I was going but she knew i was travelling. (this help thing sef it was the pressure of this pregnancy and taking care of LO that led me to it, I haven't had one since I got married.)
so who knew precise plans, doctor in naija, banks where I hustled PTA and Form A and maybe the airline but my ticket was bought online. God help me sha cos to trust anybody go hard now, once I get back na to face my work by myself, no help again. I would not look to blame anyone outside your home. I bet your maid has been going through your things at every chance she got. She probably knows as much about your plans and money as you do. I expect that there is a boy that she has her eyes on. She has told him everything and he has encouraged the theft. Never mind any rubbish talk from her of hypnotism or witchcraft. |

Why do you not look at a better but affordable school in somewhere like Cyprus? This will be a better employment prospect than a rubbish community college in Obamaland (soon to be Mr Trump land.) |

The American system presumes that you want to immigrate (so are ineligible.) Unless you give strong ties to return. Letter from employer, family and managing landed property help. As does a good healthy bank balance. Single, no job, no money are bad things. Much information here if you read back. |

chrisp4lif: please am precious from imo i have an invitation from my cousin for her wedding in U.s i have made passport waiting for the documents please i need guild lines It would help you if you read back in this section there is much information already here. Your invitation is not very important in getting a visa. You must have sound finances, or a letter confirming that your host will pay for your accommodation and food. You also need to provide strong ties to proove that you will return home after your visit. Reading back will explain these things. |

Udiboy: Hmm, he's a guy? Thought na woman o. He sounds really silly, rude and bitchy. I hope he behaves from now henceforth . Its optional to comment or advice someone. It's not by force. LadyG,Chloe,Benny and a host of other mature peeps bn here doing a good job and not insulting people. Even in the wierdest Situation. Am sure the guy that wants to marry his grandma knows his slim chances of getting a visa but you don't have to say 'thunder fire him" and a host of other rude comments he's made in the past. Mind your work o Mr Worry. I don't think either of you read and understand anything that I write. You just see my famous name and go off shouting and ranting. I do not know if it is my masculine power or my riches that you are jealous of. I have enough wives at the moment serving my needs so I can not take you on whatever bride price you are offering. I will continue to offer factual advice to people. Just because it is not coated in sugar, and only good news, it will probably continue to irritate you.(I don't really care!) The world is not sugar sweet and some people need things stated plainly. These are not insults so grow up and face real life. But to be frank I can not be bothered with your petty bickering. |

justwise:
Ok. She needs to find out first if he has used it and a way to block it. I still maintain my point against reporting him to the authority and possibly getting a criminal record because family is involved here [b] Not going to argue Mr justwise. We do not know what he intended, but several of the possible things could have long term consequences for her or the child. She and preferably her husband need to get to the bottom of what he intended. Then they can decide if family comes in front of any future problems and act as they see fit. |

alabalobor: Hello every1,i need an advise on my usa student visa application.i have applied 3 times witot anny success.i am 33yrs,single and my father was the Sponsor.i was refused.follow month I reapplied with same info and details I was refused again but the interviewer called the first person dat interview me previously, had a chat with him and refused me again.the. 3rd time,i applied married, went to Ghana to disvirgin my passport and father sponsoring me,i was refused again.i don't know wat else to do.can some1 share with me wat to do to get it right? You applied the second time only one month later without looking at or changing anything. You must look at the reason for refusal and makr changes to improve your chances. Travel to Ghana or other local places means nothing to the visa officers. Only visit and return to popular big country like US, UK or Shengen group helps. Post the exact reason given for refusal, then we may guide you. |
