TheLeakyTribe: for where? immediately I said bring phone the babe jah. If she left anything there go through it and search her room for any names or contacts. If you know her family then bother them. You could offer reward for her return, get your husband to negotiate with local people someone will know who can help. She must be punished before she does this to another person. As others have said someone is helping her, (some boy helping to spend money) who will later dump her. |

Iwanawana: Uwadiegwu!!! What about her people? Like did u do a background check before employing her? If yes trace her from there and get people arrested if need be. In this hard time...May God help us and you most especially. Yes the police need to be involved and questioning her family to put pressure on her to appear and hopefully return your money. Whether she gets a beating is up to you, but she deserves it. |

Harbioollah: Third time i'm posting this. Nairalanders should please not hoard any information from me. Save a brother here. Someone should please answer so i know which admission offer to accept. I'm not on Erasmus scholarship in case it helps, i will only be receiving thr Erasmus + grant. No one outside of Nigeria is interested or cares about NYSC! It means nothing, and is worthless to any other country. Do not bother even thinking about it. There are always places for top students with excellent results to get jobs. Your university should be able to give figures on job placements in your subject. There are not places for those who spend their time studying girls, drinking and partying! Plus Europe has a migrant crisis at the moment. |

girlloom: Hello all, please I need help. Okay, I understand ssn should be delivered to the address provided 2 weeks or so after birth. It happened that I didn't receive my son's as at a month afterwards so I felt it actually got missing and was going to request for another. I also mentioned this to my host and they agreed it was probably missing and I should forget about it as there was no need need for the number. At 7 weeks after, I decided to apply for his passport and there was a part on the application form where they requested for ssn, so I told my host that I would be going to the social security office to request for a new one. He then asked to see where the number was requested on the form so I showed him. Surprisingly, my host told me I shouldn't bother that the ss card would be delivered that day and he was very certain. At 8pm that day, he handed me my son's card lnot looking new with no envelope and his ssn exposed. Why would he open a mail that was clearly addressed to my son? I couldn't even say anything because he is my sis inlaw's husband and don't want to come across as rude. Now I suspect my son's card has been used fraudulently for tax claims. Please is it possible to block the number from being used? May I add that my host is now suddenly over protective of his mailbox. I believe there are letters he is receiving that he doesn't want me to see. This is not good! It is clear that your host is doing somethin with your sons SSN that he does not want you to know about. He is using it in some way to make money. (he may be claiming tax back.) This could affect your, or your sons record in the future so you need to get it resolved. I know it is difficult with family but it needs to be sorted out. |

adefas: I don't need your advise because I deal with people that known how to comment in a public forum not somebody like you, so keep your advise with you. @ Lady G thanks all the necessary steps will be taken b4 reapply. Just post your transcript and prove me wrong and I will apologize. |

If people will not listen, that is fine. It's there money to spend. Mrs G. You know a lot, and you know how many times the visa officers that post here have advised. Do not re-apply unless your circumstances have radical changed!
I would bet that the refusal is for 214-b (unless there is something we are not being told.)
adefas Get off your high horse and accept some advise that is intended to help you. I will 100% guarantee that the visa officer did not say you are rejected because of no travel history. Post your rejection here and others can comment. |

adefas: Many applicants were denial visa today at Abuja Embassy included my family due to lack of travel experience. We wil reapply in nearest future. Please! You and others must understand that you were rejected because you did not show strong enough proof that you would return home. Unless you work on that and correct your mistakes you will just be refused again! |

zeeygee: Afternoon house, sure commending gals and guys on this platform for your resourceful infomations. Thanks a whole lot.pls ,how do i apply for a leadership conference in American?any thread to guide me on this process(esp.free leadership conference). Thanks as al Your biggest problem is how you will convince the visa officer that you will return home after the conference. You must be able to show links to job, family or property and have a healthy bank balance to even stand a chance. Without these things you will be wasting the application fee. Read back here to learn what is required. |

akintundeerin: My name is Tunde, Somebody suggested i return back home to naija to try the application again and change my status on the d 160 form from studying to working. Please I need guidance Be honest!Do not consider lying or changing your story. Remember what you said before is on computer record. At the moment you have only been refused. If they think you are telling tales it will be worse. The visa officer has said that many are refused when applying from a second country because it is difficult to check ties to return home. Go back to Nigeria and re-apply with strong ties. |

Olacombs23: will the school report him? ... because he needs the i.d card for working Thanks Yes the school will report you and cancel your visa (by notifying immigration that you have broken your conditions.) The i.d. card will be on record and will ring alarm bells wherever it is used. No legal work will be possible so you will only be able to take jobs on minimum wage that no one else wants. You will spend every day watching out for officials and police. Enjoy your stay. |

chloe7: there's absolutely nothing wrong with what worry said infact he hit the nail on the head and was being realistic, this thread is about helping out ,being realistic mainly, and encouraging, no need to hide what is not say it the way it is please, you are the one who needs to take a chill pill instead because you said to someone who you can't even see to keep shut abeg abeg, the p.o.e as we have seen may at their discretion ban visas and entry over the slightest error so it's better to be cautious please. Thank you very much. There are some on this section of the forum that only want to be told good news. When presented with facts that are not what they want to hear they start shouting abuse at people. In this case the poster looked to be at risk and was advised so. When she posted the full story it was clear that she had acted correctly and was told that. Answers can only be given on what people post. |

princessbee: Hi momma's in d house. Have been reading dis topic. I applied for visa 2 weeks ago. Was denied, stating I don't have ties here in Naija. I'm preggers 18 weeks n didn't declare pregnancy. Claimed vacation. Is it advisable I reapply stating medical intent? The first question they will ask is "Why did you not declare pregnancy the first time?" This could be taken as deception and a visa officer in a bad mood could ban you. You have not helped any chance of getting a visa now. |

claremont: The US Marines is basically an Infantry army of the Navy, nothing to drool about IMO. It's Infantry, entry requirements for Infantry are the lowest when compared to other soldier roles. This applies in all armies, not just US. You obviously know nothing of the history and traditions of the U.S. Marines. Or probably any part of the U.S. forces. I will not even bother posting links in a failed attempt to educate you! |
