TravelRe: In Need Of A Place To Crash by worry359(m): 4:26pm On Jan 02, 2015
You seem quite confused and your story does not stack up.
You are desparate for accomodation in France (a huge country and you do not say where.)
You then say the visa is not out so you can't travel.
You have no money for a hotel for a couple of nights but you can pay for visa and air fares.
Do you have money to live in your destination? (Poor bois get turned back by immigration when caught.)
How are you going to live when you get to wherever you intend to visit?

The story sounds like dreams. shocked

Hi I'm new here... and I have So many questions
I applied for a student visa and my interview would be on Wednesday tho my school would be rresuming on Friday.. wanted to know What to tell the come I'd he asked Why I applied late for my visa Cause I have no reason..But the school wrote them a letter saying They give me a week for resumption...
Do not get complicated, just state that you have defered admission.
But only one week is very little time to get visa and ticket organised!
You may have to get your school to defere admission untill autumn.
Do not try travelling after the joining date that your school gave you, it risks rejection at P.O.E.

But I thought we are not supposed to hint that we would be staying back after graduation?
You must NOT do or say anything during your interview to suggest that you are thinking of overstaying!
If during your study you gain a position, or offer, with a US company and they sponsor you then this is not an overstay.
Do NOT try to be over clever with the VO! Answer clearly and simply. ( bigfrancis21: is not correct.)
Do not try to outsmart them.
It will end in tears.

You are sadly mistaken if by complete you mean virgins.
These girls will have been passed round many many men by now.

They are all going to be having Boko babies soon.
They are being used as pleasure slaves by the terrorists!

I don't think their families will want them back now they have been with all those men.
They will not find husbands if they are ever released. No man will want them after all the use that they have had.

Idazbawz:
Hello NLanders,
I went for an F-1 Visa interview today(24th dec 2013) in Lagos and was denied VISA. Here's my Interview:
ME: Hello Sir
V0: No response
VO: why are you going to America
ME: In order to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering Tech at Eastern Michigan University
VO: Bachelor's?
ME: Yes!
VO: Whats the name of your School?
ME: EMU.
VO: why EMU?
ME: EMU is an area rich in academic, technological, and recreational resources. Also, I've interected with some graduates and i got to knw that Engineering majors are handled to the fullest.
VO: what will you do with your degree?
ME: my Dad already secured a job for me here in Nigeria.
VO: what Job?
ME: managing director of the oil company he's about to build.
VO: what does he do?
ME: works with NNPC
VO: you graduated from Fortune Private School?
ME: yes!
VO: unfortunate, we cannot issue u a visa....

Pls, what's my offence?
Should i reapply in Abuja Embassy instead of Lagoshuh Pls reply soon...
In Red
Did you apply to any other schools? Your answer sounds like something that you have rehersed for the interview, it's not convincing.
But the BIG one
Oil company "he's about to build"
That means that the company does not exist! so you have NO promise of a job.

Remember all your story is now on record.
If you apply again and change big parts of your story they might think something is not right.

Yes i know non refundable for noshow. I showed up but they required another document which is a fit to fly otherwise no lifting. Absolutely wrong in my understanding
But your understanding is wrong.
You did not read and abide by the airlines conditions.
Did you tell the person selling the ticket about your medical problem and get permission (in writing)to fly?

It's NOT a Tsunami (that is a tidal wave from the sea.)
This is just flooding caused by rainfall.

Hello, just to be sure.. should the oanda rate I write on my statement be the rate as at the day of funds deposit or the day of printout?
The day that you go for interview ( or the closest to that)
The visa office can check at the rate on the day of your interview. (and the rate is getting worse every day)
So make sure that your funds are enough.

Good day all. Been thinking of next action line since etihad airways told me my money i gone after i bought a ticket that was non refundable and non changeable if you miss ypur flight. In dis case i disnt miss my flight but i was not allowed to travel because i didnt have a fit to fly certificate cos i had a medical visa. They said they have a new law that medical visa holders must have a fit to fly certificate. Through out my process of buying the ticket online i didnt see that requirement and i was able to book a ticket and pay successfully only to be stopped bt same etihad. In d end i wasnt allowed to fly as they said the fit to fly takes 72hrs to process. In trying to move flight i was told that 400k is gone cos the type of ticket i bought cannot be modified.
I need advise cos im thinking of hiring a lawyer and writing then with the aim of going to court.
The duty in law is NOT with Eithad! to tell you all the details.(they are printed for you to read.
It is YOUR duty to TELL THEM of your medical condition.
It is YOUR DUTY to read and fullfill any and all conditions with your ticket.
You do not have any case to recover your money, it is lost.

Hello house, compliments. Please what can a third in my bachelors degree get me in the U.S huh I really want to further, in a health related area....the low grade was jst due to some circumstances beyond my control. I alrdy got a sponsor n all that. Thanks in anticipation cry
You should search on USA websites for whatever course you want to study.
Then contact schools to see if they will admit you.
You must realise that a third is not good!
and blaming "some circumstances" does not help you.
You may need to re take your BS or do remedial school (extra cost.)
Answer HONESTLY, are you up to the schooling before spending your sponsors funds?

No use having toilet and bath if all it does is pour into street or stream.
The whole system of drains, sewers and treatment plants is needed.

Your questions have been asked many many times on all the sections.
Pick the countries that you are interested in and read back to learn.

When you have done that use Google to search for answers to your questions.

Then if you still have questions post them in the section of the relevent country.

Don't you think living in the City centre would cost more? because now you have to factor in transportation...What is the average cost of a room in the city centre, let me bring my inherent Ijebu skills to fore?
lol, I have not gotten visa yet. But I am looking towards the 29th or 30th of January depending on how early my visa application is approved.
Thanks.
The usual advice applies to you.
Don't try booking accomodation from thousands of miles away!
You could get scammed or enter a contract that you will regret.

Book a hotel for a few days, then you can look round, talk to your school and students union
and make a decision on places that you can go and see.

Is it true I need a return ticket to visit Philippines? Secondly I have 30 days left on my visa can I still make the travelhuh
I would expect that as most countries.
If you turn up at the point of entry
With less than 30 days on your visa
and only a single ticket!

Then you will be on the next avaliable plane home.

Hello all,
Please is it possible to get to US later that then speculated date on the I20 .hope there wouldnt be any issue at the POE.
IF you get a letter from your school defering your admission for one or two weeks.
Without a letter turning up at POE later than the start given on your I20 will be a problem.

Try to get your school to let you start later sometimes they will give you a couple of weeks.
Then work hard to get your visa (Christmas holidays now)

Other than that you are waiting till fall and need a new I-20

Just looking at what you said.
Most of the decision on USA visa is made when the VO reads your application and before they ask any questions.
I would suspect that your finances and links to home did not convince them that you will return home.
In making a decision the USA presumes that you are trying to immigrate unless you convince them otherwise.

Ties to home are what you need. Leave from a job, family (children) buisness or managing property are good.
Single un-married and low cash are not good.
