I single handedly toiled through herbal medicine to obtain a HND in Estate Management and now into farming( although with class). Just to get loan for a possible enhancement, there is none, job none, to go into estate practice you meet hurdles from quack and the regulatory agencies to get a seal.
Yet i see on daily basis how our politicians mess around with our nation's resources. Certainly i will be bitter.

But why is academic excellence not celebrated in Nigeria as we use to see in other issues?
Things like; local government chairmen hosting all those that graduated excellently in academic pursuit from their local government areas.
All you hear is a president with PHD hosting and giving millions to footballers or giving out grants to nollywood while totally abandoning the nation's graduates.

Aritsejafor, you said you don't romance with politicians, why did'nt you lead the larger faithful of the Christian faith to Jerusalem but had the 'odersity' to lead and prayed for the president, his cabinet members who are all of Bamangar Tukur's faction of the PDP?

Although Obassanjo was not a better choice for Nigerians but he was better in the following ways;
Obassanjo was not a sectional politicians. Even the opposition against his third term agenda were mainly from other ethnic group, him and his tribe did not turn the show to ethnoreligious brouhaha. What has Gej done and still doing now about a simple well documented Party's Zoning Arrangement?
* Tafa Balogun was humiliated beyond imagination by the EFCC eventhough he could have been shielded. Obassanjo and his tribe did not shield him on ethnic ground. What is Jonathan and his cohorts doing about Oduah and Allison Madueke?
* Obassanjo could have humble Tinubu of Lagos state by force, but due to the crises that may ensue, he piped low. What is GEJ doingto Ameachi of Rivers state today?

The funny aspect is that this man is a Northern Christian from Niger state. I have always said that true religious practice both Christianity and Islam are in the North while other people are doing business with very few doing the right thing in the name of religion.
