KenGali: Dino Melaya and Sahara Reporters have been peddling falsehood about the Cars bought by the Minister of Aviation. I checked the price of the vehicles and realized that BMW Security Vehicles only provide used vehicle prices on their website. Brochures for new one can only be downloaded on request.you must be one of the people paid to defend this corrupt administration online. Can you tell me the sensibility/propriety of an aviation minister driving an $800k car in a country where citizen live on less than $1 a day? President Barak Obama's customised Cardillac one costs about $300k. www.businessinsider.com/cadillac-1-the-tank-that-looks-like-a-car-2012-12 That's the president of the wealthiest country on earth and you are here defending one indefensible trash. Nigeria will survive sha inspite of the antics of people like you, cheers! |
nissparts: If you have an issue with the ECU, finding a replacement will be difficult.Thank you Nissparts, please, apart from ECU, what are the other things I should look out for in properly advising my brother as regards this vehicle. |
Friends and Gurus in the house, Barka de sallah to you all. I like to know why this SUV or cross-over SUV, Nissan X-Trail is not so popular in Nigeria. I discovered that apart from Lagos where you see some, not so many though, one hardly see it in some other parts of the country. Is it because of any issue that is peculiar to it? Atimes when you see it on sale, it comes with what I consider as "low" prices. A woman who claimed to have used hers in Germany and later shipped it for her use in Nigeria is about selling it off to my younger brother to "raise some money" according to her. I test drove it and whao, it was smooth, very clean and beautiful, with a 2.0 I4 engine, I love it. I was actually expecting this woman to be talking of about #1.2M but surprisingly, her asking price was #900k. From the look of things, she is likely going to do #700k or even less. We fix another meeting for Friday when my brother would have gathered the money together. My brother doesn't know much about cars even though he has driven an official car, a Toyota Corolla for two years, he is very meticulous in handling things, he also would not mind buying spare parts from Lagos because I told him he wont find the parts in Ondo/Ekiti where he lives. He is willing to abide by my decision on whether to buy or not to buy. Kindly tell me my people if there are issues with this car, even though I will still ask a mechanic friend who works for Brisco Motors to check it for me. The model is 2002. Thanks and God bless.... |
You are all great people, thank you all and God bless |
Kanwulia: It must be a genetic problem.Dont be judgemental Bro, I have never disagreed openly with my wife in the presence of the children. Infact, we hardly have disagreements not to talk of fighting. This thing started immediately the second boy was born. I also doubt if its genetic since I cant really point to such traits in my lineage or that of my wife though genetic issues may be deeper than this. I believe they will outgrow it also so I will as much as possible adopt some good suggestions here to help them in the meantime, cheers! |
RIP dear prof |
Thank you all my dear people, your advises, suggestions and words of encouragement are appreciated, @Ngenge, you are wonderful, thank you all and God bless. |
Ngenge: When i was like 6-10 years old,I use to hav a rival in my younger bros who is 2 yrs younger. Same height nd stature but wit time,we learnt to ignore certain things. They wil outgrow it but d difference is that your kids ar too young for dat royal rumble & survivor series. Tel them to always report themselves of any offence or threaten to deny d offender of certain priviledges like buying ice cream, meat pie, gala,no father xmas show or birthday celebrationyou are on point Bro, thanks. I apply all these, think I need more patience with the boys, thank you all.... |
Dear nairalanders, kindly advise me on what to do. I have 2 little boys and a girl. The first is 4 years while the second is above 2. The two have almost the same height that some people think they are twins. The major issue is that the two of them fights a lot. They fight over everything, food, dresses, tv, etc. They compare every thing and fight over it while each is claiming that his is better. They will fight over food as if each would not have enough and at the end of the day there would be leftovers. I just came in from a store where I bought another tv now, one is already claiming the new one belong to him while his brother should take the other. If one want to watch WAP tv, the other is asking for Mr Beans, then fight ensues. I think I have given these little boys more than enough beatings this year that I am now cautioning myself. I have also discovered that beating isnt going to solve the problem. They always wear their mum out anytime she is with them, I come back home everyday to meet them quarelling, enough complaints with one reporting the other to me. My mother in law has been saying they will outgrow it but I am really tired of these acrimonies btw 2 brothers. Again, their younger sister who is less than one is already showing some forms of aggressiveness, always wanting to join one in beating the other even with her feeble hands. See my house see drama. I put them in school and still pay teachers to organise extra lessons for them, this has not in anyway reduce their restlessness, what can I do? Kindly advise, Barka de sallah. |
chris4gold: Am yet to sell the bmw, just that I have added it to some website for sale.Good, just refrain from selling the BMW, continue to use it because fixing a camry engine in a maxima is not just going to 9work. I am not a mechanic but with all I have learnt on cartalk section, I know its not going to work. If you sell the active BMW, its just a matter if days before you come calling on Siena, Ikenna, Car-doctor etc to help you urgently because of a swap that went wrong, dont do it my brother, look for money elsewhere to fix the maxima, cheers! |
Please Gurus in the house, can someone tell me the authenticity of this product which is seriously gaining popularity in many parts of Nigeria. The distributors claimed that the product improves engine efficiency and fuel economy. Can people who know about it tell me how true this is? I want better fuel economy even though my cars are not performing badly at the moment but I am afraid of pouring anything in my fuel tank, thank you all. |
#730K for a VW Vento? |
Let it be known that it is one of the responsibilities of the church to take care of the poor and needy in their midst. Some churches are really doing this while some are turning deaf ears to them. see www.nairaland.com/1458539 Some churches do not even tolerate these categories of people in their midst. |
N250k please |
Phder: The good thing is, they don't speak English in Seoul.you goofed! always do your research well before making comment on nairaland. This is not a forum for morons. Korean is the official language in Seoul, South Korea, English is widely spoken and is even taught in all junior and senior secondary schools, ok! Get informed Bro! |
OmoAkerele: @Ikenna351; here are a few photographs of my beloved 505s in the Sahara, it took us 4 weeks from London/Cologne to Akure (Ondo state).OmoAkerele I fear you o. From London to Akure ke? God instructed christians to always remember the poor and needy in the society especially in the church. How far is this instruction been adhered to in the church of today? I once attended a parish of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Lagos, members of this church were so warm, caring and prayerful. They came calling about 1hour after arriving home from the church. They prayed with me, shared the word and gave some admonitions. I decided to worship in this church throughout the period of my stay in that area. They asked about what I do for a living and areas where they could be of help to me. This church is the best I have attended in my entire life till date. Poor people were tolerated, helped, trained and assisted in setting up small businesses yet they never for once compromised in preaching the true word and prayers. They assisted the unemployed, job seekers, widows, admission seekers, young people etc. Members would volunteer to teach subjects in their JAMB and WAEC tutorial classes, very fantastic church. In this church, fund raising is through individual voluntary donations, tithes and offerings. After few years of staying in this church, I left to fulfil professional callings. Now I have to change church, I have not found a church like this. I presently attend a parish of a big pentecostal church. What I hear daily is contribute to one project or the other, give to your pastor, give to this or that, all these are good but the issue is there is no place for the poor. Recently a big pastor in the church was celebrating his birthday, every member were indirectly compelled to pay for a gift to the man of God through their parishes. Good as this may be, where is the place for the poor and needy in this church? Many members are poor and in need, many young people could not afford WAEC fees, many are unemployed, many need help. I cant just keep quiet since I once benefitted from a caring church. My well intended suggestion in this regard was once taken so personal by my pastor. He said I ask too many questions, and that the projects and financial obligations of the church is too huge to consider the poor at all times. This is the same pastor who cannot do without saying something about "giving to Pastors" at least twice in a month. With all sence of modesty, I contribute my little to a few of these brethren but it could be better if the church have a good policy for them . This is what I have in my church, how well are the poor and needy cared for in your. church? Happy Sunday! |
He said "its a full luxury sedan" so its not an AUDI Q7. Guess its an A8. @Siena, confirmed? |
sunnycoolmotors: Serious buyers knows what to do bestnairaland gave you opportunity to advertise your car for "FREE" but people must "PAY" to know ordinary price of your car. I just imagine what you'll do if you are Seun Osewa. Reminiscent of those car "dealers" or do I say "hungry dealers" who asked you to fuel their car before you can test drive it, lol.., very bad, check yahoo autos or other similar sites world over, you always see their price tags but here in naija......, bad market strategy...., I blame the mods who continue to indulge people like you. Some will not even upload pictures, mtchew!!! |
The greatest critics of OBJ during his 8 year tenure were Yorubas. Talk of Chief Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory, Tunde Bakare etc. The then governor of Lagos State,Bola Tinubu openly disagreed with OBJ and criticised him. The governor of OBJ's Ogun State btw 1999-2003, Chief Segun Osoba criticised him openly and told the whole world nothing good can come out of him. The reason why PDP governors did not criticise OBJ during his second term was because he handpicked them and imposed them on the electorate, same way Gov Dickson of Bayelsa will not criticise GEJ today. I love Amaechi so much, a man of immense courage who chose to call a spade a spade unlike these cowards who hide under the cloak of ethnicity to preach that Nigeria should continue to grope in yhe backstage of underdevelopment under the leadership of the most clueless, visionless, sluggish and uninspiring president ever known in the history of the world. Nevertheless, head or tail, Jonathan goes back to teach aquatic biology at Federal University, Otuoke as from May 30, 2015, cheers! |
[quote author=ogb5]Uduaghan is very correct, the south south people are not in a position to be oposing the president publicly, moreso south south people in the ruling party. How many yoruba pdp governors opposed obasanjo when he was president, how many northern pdp governors opposed Yar ardua? The south south pdp governors have unlimited access to Jonathan, if they have any idea that can move the country forward, they should meet GEJ and discuss their ideas and try to sell their ideas to him. Castigating GEJ publicly will not bring Amaechi any good. Amaechi claim that the poverty level has increased from 30% in the 70s to 70% today, what he failed to realize is that the northerners he is presently romancing are largely responsible to the increased poverty in the land you goofed. In terms of fuel economy, and maintenance cost, Golf 3 and Nissan Almera is it, the bullet is a bit costlier to own but its also a very economical and strong car. so you can go for Golf 3 Nissan Almera Honda Bullet in that order. |
Chillisauce: Manage your resources wisely.it depend on the type of church o. Those old gospel churches are good in this area but be very careful of churches who will give you a quarter bag of rice and bring AIT, NTA, CNN etc to come and cover it ok? Many churches dont even give room to people who have nothing to drop, so this area of church thing need plenty of carefulness. Learn to buy your foodstuff in bulk if you can afford it. If you are broke but have food at home, it is easy to cope. "bi onje ba kuro ninu ise, ise buse" let someone translate this to english, lol... Proper planning is needed at this time. If you live in semi-urban areas where there is land, grow your own vegetables, fruits like pawpaw, plantain, etc If you have a plot of land that you have not start to build, convert it to vegetable garden in the meantime. Look for additional sources of income. Dont sit at home doing nothing in case if you or your wife dont have a job, do home coaching for children of those who can afford it, that's if you have some level of education and can teach, look for little things that you can buy and sell, please dont sell your property except to invest in business, ok , invest time in prayer to your God, before long, everything will be alright, you will smile again, cheers! |
This op is a daydreamer, the only state that jona can win convincingly in the north as at today is Plateau. Benue is a 50:50 thing btw APC and PDP. I live in Akure Ondo State. Gov Mimiko won less than 50% of total votes cast to win his second term, tell me how he will muster 75% for a president who have touched the people of the state in no positive way, keep dreaming, its good for your health. |
Dr Agagu contributed his quota to the development of Ondo State nay Nigeria, he is no more, leave him alone, let his God and maker be his judge, adieu Dr Kokumo Agagu, o digba! |
