This sad bigoted fool is still spending a good amount of his time creating threads on IPOB and Mazi Kanu...full of lies, conjecture and fairy tales!

This much attention for a man and a cause they write off as inconsequential and heading nowhere! I predict as 30th May approaches, we'll see much more of all this!

God bless Mazi Kanu, IPOB and the promise of a new tomorrow without the unwanted 'one Nigeria' baggage!

I've no idea why you're celebrating what was a white elephant project --an idea that never saw the light of day. Everyone can dream of grand, multimillion dollar ideas, but what are the practicalities?---that is the question. All the images in the video are not from Enugu. I think you're quite impressionable if I'm honest.

You must be an Ugwuanyi otimpku!

People like you with your defeatist and 'safe approach' to governance are certainly who we don't need holding elective and appointive offices in our states!

Yes, some of the images were not of Enugu....so what? We're talking of having an EPZ in Enugu...a zone with it's own independent power supply, and other facilities that would take advantage of AIIA Enugus' int'l status and attract industries and footfall to grow the Enugu economy and make it a world player, yet visionless peeps like you and Ugwuanyi want to play safe and tell me it's all 'pie-in-the-sky'!

Someone with the visionary and bold mindset of Dr M I Okpara (despite the limitations placed on us by the present Nigerian political-economy) would have got this off the ground! I see that mindset in the likes of Umahi and Chime to some extent!

Eyaah! i can feel the joy of the Igbos on this thread..its not easy to have very few of them succeed in a world where a countless number of them have tarnished the image of this great nation.

We need more of these strides..Congrats Igbos and Congrats Nigeria.

You seem to be finding this story a bitter pill to swallow.....you feel you have to congratulate, but couldn't help getting a sly dig in! wink

How have 'countless number of Igbos tarnished the image of your great nation' more than say the Yoruba or Fulani.....any studies done? Or are you relying on the number of anti-Igbo threads bigots and Igbo haters create on this forum and push to the homepage?

Wasn't this when Chime was governor? It was just uploaded on youtube yesterday and i thought it was a new proposal, not until i clicked on it and saw Sullivan Chime. When people say Ugwuanyi is slack and doesn't show that boldness, zest and zeal in governance like say Umahi and Chime does/did, this is what they mean! No surprises that plans for this industrial park died with the end of the Chime admin'!

I was in Lagos last year and I can tell you that northerners are more in numbers than igbos and their numbers keep swelling. Yet guess who yorubas keep attacking to leave Lagos.

Seriously when Igbo finally leave this Lagos, Yoruba’s will still have to deal with northerners whose population are possibly larger then igbos.

On the day that happens, the Yoruba that have been hating on us would look around and say ‘oh snap... shocked what have we done!’ as they look left, right and centre, and see nothing but swarms of red-eyed almajiris on okada!

The intelligence survey was carried out by a Yoruba group, on Yoruba land. I'm sure the same findings will be made if same is done on Igbo soil. The important thing here is; we are in deep shit if this is true.

Leave Igbos out of it! We realised years ago that there’s a problem with ‘one Nigeria’ and have been trying to do something about it, but the Fulani ‘owners of Nigeria’ are still sitting pretty knowing that it will be a struggle...what with all the saboteurs that abound in the south!

Hope the building has lifts....every modern storied public building has lifts!

All these projects, aren’t they federal? I know they’re located in Imo and all that, but is the federal gov’t going to offset at least part of the cost of these projects Imo State is building for them? Few weeks ago i saw on the news where the federal gov’t was talking of plans to build a prison in Kano, so Rochas should talk whoever is in charge to see if Imo will get reimbursed for all these projects they’re building for the federal gov’t!

OIL, the reason for some wanting Nigerians to stick together for life, is finite. I propose that if necessary, as an incentive, a formula to share oil revenue among the separated States for 10 years can be arrived at, with international support and agreement. This will allow every group to financially develop themselves internally during the interlude. After 10 years, oil revenue reverts to the owners of each oil well.

Thankfully, we now know that oil is not the biggest deal in NIGERIA. Funds From Nigerians living overseas surpassed Oil & Gas earnings in 2018 at $25b against $18b from Oil.

Who are the Nigerians living overseas and sending these billions back to Nigeria? Igbo, Yoruba, Edo and the rest, in that order. You see, with this fact, Igbos will do well in their own country.

Igbos (South East) should exclude non-Igbo and unwilling Igbo South South people from their desired Biafran State, and make a strong case at the UN level for their own country.

It is a win-win for each region to live separately as independent countries. Assuming it is a ''Nigerian factor'' holding the country down. Separately, the North will do well with their massive land and agricultural potential. With Lagos, the West is easily the most developed part of Nigeria and will potentially keep that going. The Igbos are the most resilient Nigerians and have great human resource and acumen to survive and potentially develop themselves. The SS has oil as well as human resources to potentially develop.

Hehehehe grin grin grin

That last comment on the industriousness of the Igbos is the main reason ‘one Nigerianists’ don’t wanna let go of Ndigbo! It’s not just the oyel and gas that makes them rabid defenders of the status-quo; they want to continue tapping into the industriousness and resources of Ndigbo and other ethnicities in the Niger-Delta to develop their own regions....enter Forbes wealthiest...and generally shine as Nigerians joined at the hip like conjoined twins!

They're a self-centred, greedy and hateful people!

You people talk without thinking!

How will IPOB, Mazi Kanu or Biafra 'coerce' your so called south-south to join a new country? Tell me in practical terms how this will happen!

Another question: is your Nigeria coercing Biafrans/Igbos to be part of Nigeria....and if so, why doesn't this equally bother you?

Yet another question: i'm from your so called 'south-south', and i'm Igbo. In the event of say only Igbos leaving your country are you saying i should be forced to stay back in Nigeria because the likes of Gowon pushed me into your south-south in 1967?

Then coming to Nigeria hummm! The major problem is population, give U.S one third of our population then u will see choas.. no hope for Nigeria and India.. even China right now is facing serious problem because of over population... Nigeria will be getting worse till we have enough of this nonsense and divide this country into fractions so that everybody will enjoy life. millions have died crossing the just because they are Nigerians it's time we start thinking like humans because it's human nature to seek for better life.
I loved Nigeria when I was a kid now as an adult who understands how things suppose to be,I must say Nigeria is a very bad country and I hate Nigeria.

It’s not really Nigeria you hate....you hate the wicked, self-serving and visionless elite! They are in every region, ethnicity and state, but the number one and biggest problem Nigeria faces is the core northern muslim elite that believes Nigeria belongs to them and the structure and status-quo must be maintained! If we can get rid of this lot, or clip their wings so to say, i reckon up to 60% of our problems would be solved....with the remaining 40% easier to manage or address! Even the likes of Gideon Orkar realised this about 30 years ago.

You too noticed what they're doing abi? They're trying so hard to keep this 'Dokubo says Igbos are 'slaves' to Ijaws' story alive for as long as they can....same thing they do with uploading the stolen screenshots of Mazi Kanu and his wife!

What would you call the mental state of someone that took the time to create screenshots of that stolen video and saved them on his phone or computer? I'd say terrified! shocked

This only shows how threatened they are of Mazi Kanu, IPOB and the promise of secession! Gombe should not even have low revenue, Ashaka cement alone gives them over a hundred million monthly but they still find ways to squander.

Care to point out where i gave a thumbs-up to the performance of state gov'ts in the east? Saying that IGR of states isn't a pointer to how viable or not said states are now means i'm saying the state governors are doing a sterling job?

Asking states to return hundreds of billions of naira as evidence they're viable just means that states that don't have a robust economy built on oil and gas or who are not favoured for the siting of federal institutions and parastatals (like int'l airports, seaports and nation-building institutions)...such states will have no choice than to find more innovative ways to further milk the workers and the few small-scale industries sited in their states!

With the present political-economy of Nigeria that has the commanding heights of the economy centrally controlled from Abuja, states have little leeway to chart their own economic course as should be expected in a true federation! Rather, first devolve economic and political power to the units and give them control of their own resources; it is only after this is done and states still find it difficult to keep their heads above water that you can say they're not viable!

It’s the useless gov’ts looking for the cheapest option you should blame!

When the states ministry isn’t directly executing the project, state gov’ts usually patronise inexperienced emergency contractors because they’re the cheaper option; ensure gov’t officials get their own cut; and are usually owned by a friend or relative of the governor or commissioner....that’s if they don’t own it themselves by proxy!

The situation would be a bit tolerable if these mushroom coys had some form of corporate governance structure and adhered to health & safety guidelines!
